Paragon, I knew the term is used in north but far north. I thought it was more of northeastern. What do I know about North. Just my assumption.
  2. Originally posed by MKA Yoonis: No one used anyone to invade anyone yaa confused Faarax. Here's some argument you made not too long ago. Originally posed by MKA Yoonis: Why didn't the people of Puntland and the rest of Somalia participate in the Jihaad because Puntland was also attacked and the Ulama should have taken their swords to fight off the Ethiopians inside Puntland but they didn't, why? Because their regional government brought them into the country and the federal government also brought them in the country and that's why they didn't revolt! Do you need more convincing?
  3. I hope that "ya-walad" guy doesn't ****up again lol! "YA-WALAAD!" lol@Ya-Walaad. Wasn't he another TFG incompetent?

  5. ^Xoogsadoow waxaas waa ceeb. War hana ceebeynee inanta sida u dhaan.
  6. ^^You mean Ina Yusuf? Rumor has it he has done it in the past.
  7. ^Reconciliation committee put togethere by Ethiopia? Amxaaro are the screenwriters of the play. No need for them to gather at the table.
  8. I hope you’re not trying to keep xiin out of the discussion by those cheap comments and unlike some of us, xiin gives sincere advice and I'm sure you don't deny it. I think he’s relevant as he lived through the horrors of this regime. Did you somehow expect me to embrace these kacaan oriented video clips? I don't mind watching them but I know people whose blood will boil.
  9. Horn, where have you been hiding? You seem to have jumped out of the no where right after I spoke of kacaanka. I don't approve of adeer's iron fist rule but I think he was much better than the stooges we're stuck with now. Why do you imagine some sort of conflict each time adeer is criticized? lol@xiin. What's with you & MKA Yoonis about xiinfaniin. He seems to know your push buttons and knows how to push it hard. BTW, it wasn't xiin who convinced I remove the picture. Take another wild guess. I'll put it back if it makes you happy buddy.
  10. ^You got any videos of the horrible destruction Kacaanka led to the country?
  11. ^Whatever number you got multiplied by four. Just kidding. I don't really know. I never thought about it. I don't value numbers and I don't think anybody’s life can be valued by digits. I could tell you I'm driving $1.00.000.000.000.000 faruuto. That's just a dollar and 1 billion in MKA Yoonis world. Where are you going with this?
  12. You're not saying that's his personal opinion and not that of the government?
  13. ^Only kids high on khat. Why not send toys over to Moqdisho and adeer could return to Villa Somalia safely.
  14. But Somalia's government spokesman, Hussein Mahmoud Mohammed, has warned that unless AU troops lead the disarmament process the killings will continue. Taako Man, did you misread this one
  15. Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni says Ugandan soldiers being deployed to Somalia, will not disarm militias. Mr Museveni, who bade farewell to 1,700 troops at a ceremony in Jinja, said they will train the Somali army, help the government, but not impose peace. An advance team of African Union (AU) troops reportedly arrived in Baidoa in southern Somalia on Thursday. Some 8,000 AU peacekeepers are to be sent to Somalia to replace Ethiopian troops, who ousted Islamists last year. Somalia enjoyed a six-month lull in the insecurity that has dogged the country for the last 16 years when the Union of Islamic Courts (UIC) was in power. But violence has escalated in the past two months. So far only half of the 8,000-strong force promised have been contributed by AU member states. Nigeria has said its 850 soldiers will be deployed from the middle of April in three phases. Other countries that have pledged to send troops are Ghana and Burundi. 'Killings continue' "We will not go to Somalia to impose peace on the Somalis, because we shouldn't do that and we can't do it," President Museveni said to his troops. "What we are going to do in Somalia is to empower our Somali brothers to rebuild their state." But Somalia's government spokesman, Hussein Mahmoud Mohammed, has warned that unless AU troops lead the disarmament process the killings will continue. An insurgency in the capital, launched by suspected Islamists, appears to be making its mark, with daily attacks - often targeting Ethiopian forces. More than 10,000 civilians have fled Mogadishu in the past two weeks, the United Nations estimates. Officials have blamed the rise in violence on the high number of weapons available. There have been several protests against the deployment of AU forces in Somalia, even though many Somalis are keen to see the departure of Ethiopian forces as quickly as possible. Islamist insurgents have warned that foreign peacekeepers are not welcome in Somalia. Uganda officials say a tank battalion leaving Jinja in eastern Uganda is expected to head to Somalia's capital via the Kenya port city of Mombasa while infantry units will be flying to Somalia next week. 16. Taako Man, You don’t get it do you? Here's what you wrote. Re-read the bold text if you don't mind. ^ What delusion? We are talking about shabellaha hoose. Now your talking about the presidents spokesperson who I may add very little is known atleast in comparison too indhacadde who had human rights groups, NGO's etc all barking at. ^ You went from talking about the editor of idamaale and saying 'what does he got to do with this'. You are one funny character Jimcaale. This post is about the shabaab and the reasons they were being blamed. You went from Blaming the idamaale editors cousin, to denying it? I think this is the statement that got under your skin but let's look at it again. “Administration headed by the cousins of Idmaale Editor.” Do me a favor and show me where I talked about and/or blamed Hussein Idamaale?
  17. ^with that flag, yeah, a sense of security, peace, prosperity and a new ambassador.
  18. "If you take the idea in the abstract, I must say that it's an excellent idea, because it gives an opportunity for women to participate in an area that has been monopolised by men," he said. "But if you look a little deeper and analyse the motives, you will find out that it is part of a strategy adopted by the regime to control the religious field and not to leave that field open for their opponents - the Islamists. So they want to control that area and convey their official view of Islam." Sums it all up. I’ve seen a documentary about this last year on PBS’s Wide Angle Class of 2006 and I think it’s a good initiative for the government to keep taps on religious extremism. It does little for women and society but much more for the regime. It’s a government initiative that’s trying to avoid the real question of the causes of extremism & terrorism but wants to keep Islamists out of the religious discussion. I highly doubt if these remarkable murshidat women are independent to do their own research, lectures and ruling without any interference of Islamic Religious Minister of Morocco. I’d say it brings opportunity and advancement for women but gives more control to the king to deny religious freedom by using the morshadaat method.
  19. Where did I actually spoke of that individual? Do you misread some times just for the heck of it?
  20. Am I the only one questioning your sanity? I’m neither a lawyer nor mental health worker but I feel you’re trying too hard to get your point across. I wasn’t expecting a self-congratulatory remark and I see you’ve been reading too much of self-improvement books. Let me get to the real issue at hand. Somalia needed peace long before the Tigrayans bombed the airports of the nation, long before Baydhabo decided to host hostile enemy of the country, long before Ina Yusuf get the presidency seat in corrupted election with Meles behind the scene. Somalia lies in our heart and neither of us are more Somali than the other but some of us like to entertain themselves with what resembles peace delivered in the worst way possible. Somalia is a lot different than the old days where military rule was possible. It needs geneinue peace and public reconciliation. Running out of time. Be back later.
  21. Uganda in talks with Somali militants ahead of deployment of peacekeepers The Ugandan troops are in talks with some of the warlords in Somalia ahead of the country's deployment of peacekeepers, President Yoweri Museveni has revealed. Museveni told a news conference here late Tuesday that the militia has no reason to attack Uganda troops on a peacekeeping mission in the volatile country. "The militias have no good reason to worry about us because we are there to help them rebuild their state. Our job will be mainly to train the Somali army not to disarm them. We are talking to some of them," Museveni said. In recent weeks, the Somali capital Mogadishu has seen the worst unrest since the interim government drove out the militants of the Union of Islamic Courts with the help of Ethiopian troops last December. Those militants have threatened to attack peacekeepers deployed in the volatile country. Museveni said the Ugandan troops will take precautionary measures while in the volatile country. Meanwhile, the Daily Monitor on Wednesday reported that the deployment of Ugandan troops to Somalia has started. A source in Cabinet revealed that the soldiers would be the first to land in Baidoa as part of an African Union peacekeeping mission. "They are leaving tomorrow (Wednesday) in the early hours of the morning," the source said, preferring anonymity, due to the sensitivity of the deployment. "What we do not want is the press to cover their departure." Museveni was still reluctant to disclose when the troops would leave until late Tuesday but said it would be soon. "They are now packing their bags, cleaning their equipment and generally preparing to go," the Uganda People's Defense Force (UPDF) spokesman Felix Kulayigye said on Tuesday. "It is not advisable to tell you when we arrive in Somalia... all I can say is that we are going soon." It emerged that military hardware was being secretly transported from Jinja, where the Somalia-destined troops are currently residing, to the airbase in Entebbe. A source said construction materials, water tanks and heavy armament were already at the airport, as "the final word" is awaited. If Ugandan troops arrive in Somalia on Wednesday, it would confirm an earlier statement by Somali President Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed that the deployment of Ugandan troops to Somalia should begin before the end of this week. The African Union has so far only raised half of the proposed 8, 000 peacekeepers. Under the AU mission to Somalia (AMISOM), Uganda has offered to deploy between 1,400 and 1,500 soldiers, who have been undergoing intensive training for over a year. UPDF's Maj. Gen. Levi Karuhanga has been appointed to head the force that will include troops from Malawi, Ghana, Nigeria and Burundi. Algeria and Egypt have reportedly offered to provide transport to countries sending troops to Somalia, which has lacked an effective central authority since the 1991 ouster of military strongman Mohamed Siad Barre. Source: Xinhua Source Desperate times call for desperate measurements. Museveni is desperate to collect few dollars but doesn't want to take the heat and wrath of his people. Back in UN intervention of Somalia, there have been stories that some of Unisom troops in Moqdisho were bribing Aideed Senior to stay off the road on their turn to patrol the streets. Now that's what I call peace building Is history repeating itself?
  22. Messiah? Min shuruuri. Unified government, build huge military, fully succeed? Do you really understand the meaning these words entail or you just day dreaming?
