  1. Late better than never! I know it won't hurt him big but it sends a strong signal. I'm sure he'll get more publicity and probably land better deal than what he had going. I'd surpised though if he gains the heart of prominent African American politicians or women's advocate group. I liked how Obama and Al-Sharpton responded and demanded he gets fired. I heard another radio DJ tried to pull the same crap on the air and lost his job.
  2. Yaa Jenerale, marytrdom is not about insulting others. I'm glad they didn't buy his cheap apology directed at the media outlets not to the players he so offended. Feminist movement plus civil rights activists were able to convince to pull their ads of the program. How powerful!
  3. MSNBC drops simulcast of Don Imus show NEW YORK - MSNBC said Wednesday it will drop its simulcast of the “Imus in the Morning” radio program, responding to growing outrage about the radio host’s racial slur against the Rutgers women’s basketball team. “This decision comes as a result of an ongoing review process, which initially included the announcement of a suspension. It also takes into account many conversations with our own employees,” NBC news said in a statement. Talk-show host Don Imus triggered the uproar on his April 4 show, when he referred to the mostly black Rutgers women’s basketball team as “nappy-headed hos.” His comments have been widely denounced by civil rights and women’s groups. The decision does not affect Imus’ nationally syndicated radio show, and the ultimate decision on the fate of that program will rest with executives at CBS Corp. In a statement, CBS reiterated that Imus will be suspended without pay for two weeks beginning on Monday, and that CBS Radio “will continue to speak with all concerned parties and monitor the situation closely.” MSNBC’s action came after a growing list of sponsors — including American Express Co., Sprint Nextel Corp., Staples Inc., Procter & Gamble Co., and General Motors Corp. — said they were pulling ads from Imus’ show for the indefinite future. NBC News President Steve Capus said he made the decision after reading thousands of e-mails and having countless discussions with NBC workers and the public, but he denied the potential loss of advertising dollars had anything to do with it. “I take no joy in this. It’s not a particularly happy moment, but it needed to happen,” he said. “I can’t ignore the fact that there is a very long list of inappropriate comments, of inappropriate banter, and it has to stop.” NBC’s decision came at a time when Imus’ program on MSNBC was doing better competitively than it ever has been. For the first three months of the year, its audience was nearly identical to CNN’s, leading CNN to replace its morning news team last week. More
  4. I think it's time they fire him. He does these kinds of racial remarks and gets away with them. Here's what he said about my favorite journalist Gwen Ifill. “Isn’t The Times wonderful,” Mr. Nelson quoted Mr. Imus as saying on the radio. “It lets the cleaning lady cover the White House.” Referring to Gwen Ifill
  5. lol@aada la aadaa. Keep 'em coming MMA. Dankis. I like qoryahay with sandals in the last picture. Look at dhiisha in the second raw oo ilmo sida. Dad waa kii hore yaakhey.
  6. Somalia: Immigrants Banned to Be Set of Puntland The information minister of the semi-autonomous region of Puntland in northeast Somalia said Wednesday they would not allow people to immigrate from Puntland to Arab countries. Abdirahman Mohamed Bangah told Shabelle Radio that the 180 young men deported from Sudai Arabia that were arrested in Galkaayo town yesterday were immigrants who initially enter that country illegally. Asked about the demand by the parents to release their sons from Puntland, Bangah said they as Puntland state will stop the people who do not care about their lives. "The Puntland authorizes stop every one who wants to be smuggled from here to Saudi Arabia because of head of deadly voyage," said Bangah. Earlier, many immigrants from the southern regions of Somalia had drowned in the seas after the smugglers forced them to jump into the water. Source Good news. With this action, PL is heading the right direction. Someone has finally decided to put an end to those never ending tragic trips to Yemen. Cade admin must have woken up of that heavy sleep and the TFG obsession. Time to serve PL and set up priorities.
  7. ^You like that one don't you I see lots of Nuxur in you for Amxaaro boots.
  8. Jacpher

    Shame!

ThePoint, I highly doubt any security threat of deportees from Saudia. If what NN alleging was the case, the destination would have been Cuba, not Moqdisho or Gaalkacyo. xiinoow, excommunicado mina-laahi armey ayagu heshaa for dhibka masaakiinta.
  9. Jacpher

    Shame!

One you just can not bring people to puntland that you don't want in your country and two, people should avoid taking grenades with when they go to puntland. Now PL is a country only open to those they want to invite? When did that happened? After Amxaaro took over Gaalkacyo? Faarax-Brown, forget it. We have to cancel that trip to Biyo-kulule. Well.....not if Duke comes with us.
  10. ^I guess they were a threat to the peace of Ethiopian base in Gaalkacyo as potato captain & nuxurlaawe would put it. Seriously, what's going on with PL? Are they not even in control of the city itself?
  11. Jacpher

    Shame!

Maxaabiistan oo tiradoodu ay gaaraysay ilaa 237 qof oo isugujira rag iyo hawaan dhammaantood wada-dhalinyaro ah ayaa boolisku uu ka shakiyay waxaana lagu sameeyay baaritaan. Any relation to this report?
  12. Khalaf, calm down bro. I didn’t doubt or question diintaa. I, however questioned your logic and reasoning providing a religious support to the Amxaaro tanks. You can’t be serous with that Ahmed_Guree analogy. What that obnoxious character wrote was so out of the line. Anyho, you’re entitled to support whomever you want just like AU supports of Indhacade and captain patato of the Ethiopia’s military exercise in civilian populated areas in Mogdisho. If you get offended, my apology but I didn’t know Khalaf would get offended that easily. Running out of time.
  13. You are free to take whatever nick best describes yourself, hobby & etc. It's your SOL-given right to do so, no argument there sxb. I was just pointing out your mindset of ranting about ICU when the topic has to do with cities under Ethiopian control directly or indirectly. MMA not only painted the real picture but emphasizes the likelihood Amxaaro would extend its control to other towns while we’re totally oblivious to such possibility or facts. What I don't get is your advocacy for Islamic ummah, khalifah, sharia law yet your display of affection for a warlord led government whose action go against the principal you seem to uphold. You speak in favor of Ethiopia’s military presence in Somalia and yet you want to Sharia law delivered by Ethiopian army through a government headed no other than a former warlord? Would you approve of an Imam leading the prayers at night and running Riba-based business at day? Ina-wajadnaa aabaa'anaa & Shahaada banner don't go together. Get it!
  14. Nothing is wrong with your chosen nickname. It just gives the reader a perspective of your background, whether right or not. Tan labaad, do you think the banner appearing in your signature is supportive of TFG and its military might in Somalia particularly in Moqdisho? Save the ICU rants for a minute and address the point if you don’t mind.
  15. Khalaf, I didn’t add anything new to the discussion except pointed out your chosen nickname. I think our brother Khalaf feels strong about TFG and its military might [read: Ethiopia] but I find it hard to believe someone would carry Islamic banner signature contrary to whatever they stand up for. Khalaf is not alone in that column I think.
  16. Anyway, it was yesterday Stooge Father's now own hand-picked 'spokesman' who photoshopped this: MMA: Maybe this Photoshop work was the deciding factor for the job process. There're not that many photos of odaga displaying a nomad prayer style sitting in some sort of dirin with tusbax.
  17. ^xiinoow dee yarka waad ka khaldan tahay. Bal eeg borderka dhankuu ka taagan yahay marka hore.
  18. Violet, could you PM him and repent for me dear?
  19. You need not to apologize for anything. SOL might just witness you pulling it on another nomad when your emotions hit high in a matter of few days. I'm really puzzled by your use of short sentences and carefully crafted grammatical errors sxb. Is it possible Ahmed_Guree is hiding the real face and identity of old SOL nomad? Are we dealing with a familiar SOL personality & point of view behind this token nick?
  20. People's back? I'm sure he's reading it and could comment if he chooses to.
  21. I too am sorry for my English isn't so pretty. I'm not familiar with movie titles or catch-22 phrases so you'll have to break it down for me in layman's terms. You're correct on that assumption that I don't engage fadhi ku diri with canbarooyin. If I remember correctly, General Duke has had a terrible experience with one canbaro that he had to take a leave of absence for awhile. Our lovely ladies have a high integrity to be involved with TFG cronism and dirty politics.
  22. Although the voice is undeniable, I question the intent of posting pieces of old audio clip, supposedly recorded during Ina Yusuf’s wild years, full of qabiil hatred and animosity. If one focuses on the message rather than the messenger, one finds it despicable and hateful for a head of a government to utter such offensive words to a large member of the society. It not only undermines but causes the whole notion of TFG peace conference pointless.
  23. Secondly, the Ethiopian troops are there fighting on behalf of the Somali government, so any decision that is made is a Somali one. Maandheey doonimayo inaan dhaqan & hido jira dhinac maroo fadhi ku dirirka la wadaago canbaro ee ina-adeereey Duke & intuu madaxda u yahay u daa inay adeer difaacaan.
