  1. Horn, some of the agreements between the elders includes, 1. Give out magdhow on both sides 2. The ‘armed gang check points’ militia must come back to the city 3. Return looted properties by both sides All these points were discussed and agreed just because of tribal sensitivity? Talk of shooting one’s own foot. Xiinoow Waxaan la yaabaa dad baa aaminsan these militias inay yihiin holly warriors. Rag iska celi iyo caro Alle tee la doorbidaa? Balo ku dagtay. How many Suldaan, Nabadoon, Malaakh, Islaan, Garaad or Boqor have you seen getting involved in almost every tiny bitty issue of Beesha and being referred in news articles? Talk about perception assassination and undermining whatever resolution such figures could have delivered. I think it's time the larger family breaks their silence. Taano knows what he wants and go after. Hunguri is what matters to him be it via gun barrel, gunnimo or gar oday. lol@caravaggio. Moral conscience is the driving forces of the mass murder and rape not to mention property grabbing each time this militia pops up in new town. Ka cabso Defense Minister speaker. Don't you ever ask him to repeat himself or the minister.

  3. Masha'alaah Cambaro. Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay in Bakkah. Life time experience in the most purifying place on earth. You would have loved more in Ramadan. Don't we all love to go there for vacation every Ramadan? Kuwaas yaa ogoleysiihaaya hee? Sidee sharciga kuugu dhibaayaanaa wadankaba karheysaa. Erayga 'Sahal' ayeenba kaseen micnihiisa.
  4. Horn: As much as you try to personalize it, I don't think any of us is in need of character reference. Check here Gedonet now reports the recent conflict in Jilib was not about cleaning check points of militia. If anything needs cleaning, those savage gangs that work daily to empty people's safe deposit boxes should be cleaned out.
  5. ^Kan quduucnimada qaraabo goysaas ku darsade.
  6. ^No wonder you're lacking to comprehend the difference between the two. I don't represent allAfrica. It's they who labeled him as 'armed militiamen' leader. It's allAfrica not AllPuntland. Open your eyes sxb.
  7. ^Sxb don't resort to cheap personal shots. Try to refute what I wrote not what's in my heart.
  8. A colonel high on drug leading some collective uncivilized nomadic militia claiming to represent Somali armed forces? Weren't these savages doing the same thing few weeks back in nearby city? Somalia: Clan Fighting Kills Five in Southern Somalia Mogadishu At least five people have been killed and a dozen more has been wounded after two clan militias clashed in Jilib district, about 380 kilometers south of the Somali capital, Mogadishu. Residents said the fighting which has started last night has been ongoing on Sunday as both militias using heavy weaponries were facing off in the town. Col. Abdul Hirey, the leader of heavily armed militiamen reportedly from Kismayu, 500 KM south of Mogadishu, told Shabelle by the phone that the he was leading the government troops. "I am leading Somalia's armed forces. We are from the third brigade in Kismayu and we are fighting a group of armed robbers based in Jilib. Every Somali person knows that the local militias have been notorious for armed robbery, rape and killing, so we decided to crack down on them," he said. He said five people were killed from both sides, accusing the government official in the town of being inactive, threatening that the fighting will last until "we secure Jilib and the surrounding areas." Meanwhile the chairman of Jilib, Dahir Dooro, told Shabelle that the gun battle was taking place between two clan militias. "The situation is calm now and there are elders from both clans trying to establish peace talks between them," he said. Dooro said he was hopeful that mediation will bring solution to the fighting. allAfrica

  10. ^You'd be waiting to hear back from the civilized world for a very long time. Another starvation campaign by Meles regime. Another systematic human atrocity and political oppression in the largest state of that region.
  11. ^What’s with the hate man? You do realize we have come a long way. We’ve carried out the “first punishment” to settle two hostile clans. Our leader brought medical equipment to the needy hospital. We’ve successfully completed a seminar to train women on breastfeeding and offered rewards for completing the seminar. What more could we have done? Morgan would have never brought such success to Kismaayo populace. We could have accomplished more had it not been Yeey and the Courts of attacking us. Our nomadic geeljire fierce fighters are ready to defend the city residents at any cost. Jailing our social & political leaders abroad won't stop our geeljire to defend our freedom to rule and ownership of our forefather's land. As for the ownership of Kismaayo, I'm sure you'll find a detailed history of our traditional inhabitance in Jubooyinka on Beesh Blog from 1500 - 2007. That link is found in Beesha's homepage on the world wide web. Back to the topic. Please do continue to shed light on the history of Gedo region.
  12. Dawo, Hadal ‘ax’ ma oran. If words could feel pain. I like the English version but I’ve never heard of the Somali one. Waxaan u maleynayaa inay u yara eg tahay, “Xarago xanuun ma leh” Style has no pain. “Dadka hadalka ilahy ku manaystan baa loogu maah maahaa” Daadaansiga ma deehee? Serenity Almost all of these maahmaahyo won’t make any sense in their literal English meaning. They sound weird and confusing but funny. Awkeey dooli diloow dad nool maas udaahaa = Rat killer won’t hesitate murder. MMA: Kaadi badane waa loo gogol badiyaa = A man is given more beds for wetting.
  13. Horn, I think twin cities Ilaah baa u naxariistay. Thank God, all eight lines were not operational. Due to construction, 2 lines on each direction were open when it went down. The bridge is one of the major arteries to the city especially downtown area. The very exit is collapsed on is the downtown entrance and Washington & Cedar Ave, center of maryooley. U of M west campus sits on the other side of the bridge. It was amazing how Mpls responded though. The local hospitals declared code orange as they cleared ICU units and ambulances rushed to the scene. I remember seeing police spokeswoman on TV saying we've got enough first responders. All other responders should report to their respective precincts.
  14. ^Alxamdulilaahi, Ilaahey waan inoo naxariistay. Xiinoow, dhowr dheer ayaan wax wacayoo "all circuits are busy right now, try again later" bey igala bixi weyday islaanta. EDIT: It appears City of Minneapolis is doing all it can right now with all kinds of medical, red cross & variety of local law enforcement at the scene. With the cancellation of Twins game tomorrow, it should help ease the traffic congestion. Khalafoow, not that far from Cedar and U of M campus. Wili ma maqal maryooley wax gaareen.
  15. ^My worry is that school bus going down with the children. I drove over the bridge just 2 hours before it collapsed. It was bumper to bumper so I can just imagine how many cars went flying into Mississippi. Ironically, about two weeks ago, a friend I was riding with saw a hole open through the bridge to the river and mentioned how scary it was to drive over a bridge under construction. Allow na badbaadi. Summer in Minnesota will get much worst with the most busiest bridge in the heart of the city being out. As the old saying goes, there're two seasons in Minnesota: Winter and Road Construction, my fifteen minutes commute to work is now well over an hour. 3 dead as Mississippi River bridge falls amid rush hour in Minneapolis (CNN) -- At least three people were killed when an interstate bridge in Minneapolis, Minnesota, collapsed Wednesday evening, plunging cars and chunks of concrete into the Mississippi River below. There were "lots" of injuries, the state Homeland Security and Emergency Management Department said. Local hospitals put the number of people hurt at 37 so far. The accident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. (7 p.m. ET). There were 50 to 100 cars on the bridge at the time, according to early estimates. Witnesses described a "dust cloud" as the bridge collapsed. Photo See photos of the disaster » Lt. Amelia Huffman of the Minneapolis Police Department told CNN affiliate KARE it was "not clear at this point what caused the collapse" of the Interstate 35W bridge near University Avenue. "We have personnel there in the rescue effort," she said. "I have never seen anything remotely like this before." Mark Lacroix, who lives on the 20th floor of an apartment building near the bridge, told CNN he saw the last seconds of the collapse. "I heard this massive rumbling and shaking basically and looked out my window," Lacroix said. "It just fell right into the river." Video Watch Lacroix describe the collapse » He said there had been construction work on the bridge in recent weeks. Don't Miss * I-Report: Are you there? Share video, photos * KARE: I-35W bridge near University Avenue collapses Construction took place on the bridge Tuesday night and was to take place again Wednesday night, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The highway would have been restricted to a single lane in both directions from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. both nights. The bridge was undergoing redecking work, but nothing structural was being done, U.S. Transportation Department spokesman Brian Turmail said. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security had no indication that terrorism played a role in the disaster, Sen. Norm Coleman, R-Minnesota, told CNN. Coleman said Gov. Tim Pawlenty had told him the 40-year-old bridge was inspected and "given a clean bill of health" three years ago. The nearby University of Minnesota Medical Center received "just a handful" of injuries from the accident, spokesman Ryan Davenport said. "One of our hospitals has five patients so far, and the other on the other side of the river has none," he said. Nancy Ebert of Northwestern Hospital said it had received four injured people -- two children and two adults. Dr. Joseph Clinton, chief of emergency medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center, said the hospital is treating 28 injured people, six of them critically hurt. He also said the hospital received one patient who was pronounced dead on arrival. "We have one drowning victim here, and I believe there are more drowning victims at the scene," he said. Two hours after the collapse, a tractor trailer was still burning on the bridge and fire officials were attempting to put out the flames. The vehicle had been cut in half, said Kristi Rollwagen, a spokeswoman for the Minnesota Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. Crews have been using boats to help remove people from the water, bringing them up on the river bank, but bad weather moving into the area could hamper the rescue efforts. "I don't know how much more could go bad here, but right now, we've got the perfect storm brewing out there, so we're trying to work as hard as we can to pull people out of there" Rollwagen said. Witnesses told CNN a school bus filled with children was on the bridge when it collapsed, but they also said the bus did not drop into the water and it appeared that the children had all been evacuated. Aerial footage showed the middle of the bridge caved in, lying in the Mississippi River, with cars both on top and submerged in the water. The main part of the collapsed span is not submerged, but the span clearly separated from the land-based sections of the highway on both the north and south ends of the bridge. A witness said it looked like "toy cars" were plunging into the water. "I heard a terrible noise, and then I looked. It seemed like a piece of the bridge was pancaking and going down," said Janet Stately. "I said, 'Did we really see that? Did we really see that?' and it was unbelievable." About 100,000 cars a day travel over the bridge, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Source: CNN
  16. Ramadan '07 is about six or seven weeks away. It's said to be in the second week of September. Allow caafimaad qab nagu gaarsii kheyrkeedana na waafaji!
  17. Have you been trolling too much?
  18. ^Please don't make fun of the boqor. That goes against the nomadic culture of ours.
  19. Let's hope this meeting as well as last week's 'first punishment' prevents dagaal hor leh
  20. ^Hey read the article again. It's not peace meeting with Tigre-led dowlad. The Kismaayo millitia do not oppose Tigre-led dowlad. They actualy sat down with the Tigre ambassador in Xamar and commander of Tigre forces. They just oppose the head of the Tigre-led dowlad. Just like they opposed the courts. Well. Not really. They were with the courts except they opposed Turki tangs marching to Kismaayo. Get the point. They're with you and the courts, but not all the way. If you were to appoint Sheikh Indhacade's JVA member to Kismaayo as the supreme ruler, I'm sure we are all going to get along fine. Sidoo kale, kulankaan maanta ayaa waxaa lagu soo hadal qaaday dilalkii ka dhacay deegaanka Buurgaabo, waxayna beesha (Insert) ka codsadeen in gacan ku dhiiglihii la soo hor is taajiyo shereecada islaamka. Kulanka maanta oo soconayay mudo saacado ka badan ayaa waxaa saaxaafada la hadlay afahayeenka beesha (Insert) Xasan Max’ed Cali (Xasan dheere) oo sheegay in ay beesha (Insert) dhigayso gogol nabadeen ah oo ay ugu baaqday beelaha dega Gobolka J/hoose. Waxaa kaloo uu sheegay afahayeenka beesha (Insert) in ay ka codsanayaan beesha kale ee (Insert) in ay soo wareejiyaan gacan ku dhiiglihii gaystay dilkii ka dhcay deeganka Buurgaabo. The title is very misleading. The article speaks about peace conference of a single clan discussing its internal affairs and a related single incident of another warring clan. This must be an attempt to 'carry out' the second 'punishment' for the remnants of Indha-cade's Juba Valley Alliance. Let Sharia rule reign in JVA territory and keep Indhacade proud. I'm sure the Sheik is enjoying the moment.
