^I thought you figured that already. The limit is for the black flag to fly over Hargeysa, Boosaaso, & Jigjiga simultaneously. Horn: Gedonet published that rumor? It must not got a good rating cuz I didn't hear it and you know Gedonet is on my fav. I may oppose the shabaab for many reasons but I don't accuse them of fleeing on donkeys. Besides I'm sure you know they have no border problems.

Whatever got deleted, I'm sure it was a run off at the mouth. I suggest the psychotic kid should get too religious about his persona instead of playing elevated soul to chastise others.

Thanks all for your kind words, especially the ladies of SOL. Truly appreciate it. I'm stepping down from politicking and up my xamaali game to a higher natch. MMA: I might but I'll definitely drop you a line. Emperor: If I decide to pay Majango a visit, I'll invite you and Horn to a hot cup of waarikoow at the Qiilmawaaye beach front Hotel. Promise you don't bring 'em crazy bosy with machine guns.

Al-Shabaab, the extremist group in Somalia whom Washington have added to its terrorist list recently have issued a death threat in the form of slaughtering as a groat to SOL member briefly after he posted a two paragraph piece questioning their stature as macsuumiin on the internet. The group is said to feed his flesh to the cannibal army in Moqdisho. "When you're engaged in a war against infidels, you don't question the stature of our leaders", said Al-Camel Abu Herder, a spokesman for the group on anonymous condition. "We don't perceive our political opponents in Somalia as Somalis and Muslims even though they appear to wear Somali skin or pray to Makkah", he added. "There are known knowns and unknown knowns," as he quoted Donald Rumsfeld, the former US Secretary of Defense. Another fake news website known as dayniile broke a report last month the group carried out the beheading of sixty year old man after he failed to intervene and stop a teenage boy masturbating in public bathroom that he witnessed. The man reportedly argued the teenage boy was caught up in the moment and did not notice the man's presence. The man was told to cite the Shahada multiple times by the executioner. He was told good Muslims like Sadaam say the Shahada words few times before they die. The head of the group, Al-Mohamed Al-Samatar Abu-Qowsaar warned if Baashi does not repent to Kaligii Muslim forces and denounce his comments, the order would be carried out in eighty eight minutes. As of this writing, Baashi has fifty six minutes left to live. In a press release, the presidential spokesman Jaamac Daahir said president Cabdulaahi Yusuf was shocked, terrified and paralyzed by the news. "I thought America had beheading threat defense shield", president was quoted. His primary physician quickly put him on an organ transplant list but later found no matching. Ethiopian Airways confirmed the president on a six o'clock flight to Addis where they found a matching donor. Brought to you by fake news dot com.

I'm taking a break from SOL politiking. It's has been over three years since I first registered in SOL. Years of nac-nac and hopefully, Alle ha inaga cafiyo. My marriage to SOL politicking has been fun on some days, and sad and depressing on many other days. I made some friends and met some family members as well. It has been nice experience debating, interacting like minded people and fellow nomads across the globe. Mucho gracias to the admin for providing the platform and many thanks to the moderators for keeping up with us. Caf iyo masaabax dhamaan to those I've knowingly or unintentionally offended or wronged upon. Cafwan akhyaarey! Overall, it was fun and nice getting to know you all. Thanks for the time. See you when the light return for our beloved country. In the mean time, keep praying for peace and prosperity.

In Pa. Debate, The Clear Loser Is ABC By Tom Shales Thursday, April 17, 2008; Page C01 When Barack Obama met Hillary Clinton for another televised Democratic candidates' debate last night, it was more than a step forward in the 2008 presidential election. It was another step downward for network news -- in particular ABC News, which hosted the debate from Philadelphia and whose usually dependable anchors, Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopoulos, turned in shoddy, despicable performances. For the first 52 minutes of the two-hour, commercial-crammed show, Gibson and Stephanopoulos dwelled entirely on specious and gossipy trivia that already has been hashed and rehashed, in the hope of getting the candidates to claw at one another over disputes that are no longer news. Some were barely news to begin with. The fact is, cable networks CNN and MSNBC both did better jobs with earlier candidate debates. Also, neither of those cable networks, if memory serves, rushed to a commercial break just five minutes into the proceedings, after giving each candidate a tiny, token moment to make an opening statement. Cable news is indeed taking over from network news, and merely by being competent. Gibson sat there peering down at the candidates over glasses perched on the end of his nose, looking prosecutorial and at times portraying himself as a spokesman for the working class. Blunderingly he addressed an early question, about whether each would be willing to serve as the other's running mate, "to both of you," which is simple ineptitude or bad manners. It was his job to indicate which candidate should answer first. When, understandably, both waited politely for the other to talk, Gibson said snidely, "Don't all speak at once." For that matter, the running-mate question that Gibson made such a big deal over was decidedly not a big deal -- especially since Wolf Blitzer asked it during a previous debate televised and produced by CNN. The boyish Stephanopoulos, who has done wonders with the network's Sunday morning hour, "This Week" (as, indeed, has Gibson with the nightly "World News"), looked like an overly ambitious intern helping out at a subcommittee hearing, digging through notes for something smart-alecky and slimy. He came up with such tired tripe as a charge that Obama once associated with a nutty bomb-throwing anarchist. That was "40 years ago, when I was 8 years old," Obama said with exasperation. Obama was right on the money when he complained about the campaign being bogged down in media-driven inanities and obsessiveness over any misstatement a candidate might make along the way, whether in a speech or while being eavesdropped upon by the opposition. The tactic has been to "take one statement and beat it to death," he said. No sooner was that said than Gibson brought up, yet again, the controversial ravings of the pastor at a church attended by Obama. "Charlie, I've discussed this," he said, and indeed he has, ad infinitum. If he tried to avoid repeating himself when clarifying his position, the networks would accuse him of changing his story, or changing his tune, or some other baloney. This is precisely what has happened with widely reported comments that Obama made about working-class people "clinging" to religion and guns during these times of cynicism about their federal government. "It's not the first time I made a misstatement that was mangled up, and it won't be the last," said Obama, with refreshing candor. But candor is dangerous in a national campaign, what with network newsniks waiting for mistakes or foul-ups like dogs panting for treats after performing a trick. The networks' trick is covering an election with as little emphasis on issues as possible, then blaming everyone else for failing to focus on "the issues." Some news may have come out of the debate (ABC News will pretend it did a great job on today's edition of its soppy, soap-operatic "Good Morning America"). Asked point-blank if she thought Obama could defeat presumptive Republican contender John McCain in the general election, Clinton said, "Yes, yes, yes," in apparent contrast to previous remarks in which she reportedly told other Democrats that Obama could never win. And in turn, Obama said that Clinton could "absolutely" win against McCain. To this observer, ABC's coverage seemed slanted against Obama. The director cut several times to reaction shots of such Clinton supporters as her daughter, Chelsea, who sat in the audience at the Kimmel Theater in Philly's National Constitution Center. Obama supporters did not get equal screen time, giving the impression that there weren't any in the hall. The director also clumsily chose to pan the audience at the very start of the debate, when the candidates made their opening statements, so Obama and Clinton were barely seen before the first commercial break. At the end, Gibson pompously thanked the candidates -- or was he really patting himself on the back? -- for "what I think has been a fascinating debate." He's entitled to his opinion, but the most fascinating aspect was waiting to see how low he and Stephanopoulos would go, and then being appalled at the answer. -
^ You got your comic macawiis tonight. Re-read my line once again. I was implying a little kid could get away with such excuse not a grown man. Al-mansuur needs to bear responsibility his men murdered innocent people who risked their lives to better the lives of Somalis.

Thanks for your kind words bro but I ain't no good judge. I got the gene somewhere in me. Seriously, have we run out of good creditable people that former warlords are now spearheading the toughest task of bringing noble peace to Somalia?

A warlord and a former member of Moqdisho's infamous anti-terror alliance paid by the CIA, which fought against the courts for control of the city, is now calling Somalis to move on to peace negotiations. In his interview, Al-Dagaal-ooge Yalaxow shows a different side I did not know existed. A compassion for the country, its people and a love for peace. He's calling Somalis to embrace the peace initiatives with no preset conditions. Somewhere in the interview he acknowledged everyone is wronged upon including himself but what his memory failed to recollect is that he was a parasite that sucked the blood of millions of innocent Somalis far too long. The interview would have been a little creditable if he took the opportunity to sound why his call for peace is any better than the those in Amxaaro tanks or a beheading warning banner and suicide bomb belt. I don't know if this is a genuine personal call or just another peace campaign paid by Ethiopia or his former employer. Did the Ethiopians turned Baydhabo into a Warlord Rehabilitation Center? Somalia: al Shabaab responsible for slaying 4 teachers BELETWEIN, Somalia Apr 14 (Garowe Online) - An Islamist guerrilla group in Somalia is responsible for the brutal slaying of four school instructors after fighters briefly seized a key town without bloodshed. A spokesman for al Shabaab fighters, Muktar Robow "Abu Mansur," did not distance his armed group from killing the four civilians in Beletwein, a provincial capital near the Ethiopian border. "Our fighters did not intentionally kill the teachers," Abu Mansur told the AP. Al Shabaab guerrillas captured Beletwein after Hiran Governor Yusuf Daboged and regional security forces withdrew from the town Sunday night, locals said. The governor was last reported to have safely reached the border village of Feer Feer, a key base for Ethiopian troops deployed in Somalia's central regions. In Beletwein, the Islamist guerrillas seized control of all government buildings and burned the home of Governor Daboged, before withdrawing voluntarily. The four teachers - two Kenyans and two British citizens of Somali origin - were killed outside of a private, English-language school. But the al Shabaab spokesman was eager to distance his militant group from flyers spread throughout markets in the capital Mogadishu, threatening traders to lower the exchange rate or face death. Abu Mansur said that al Shabaab is not responsible for those flyers, adding: "Soon, we will take steps against those groups [who spread the flyers]," he told Mogadishu-based radio stations Monday. He blamed the governments of Somalia and Ethiopia for hyperinflation, which has severely devalued the Somali Shilling and contributed to rising market prices for common goods. According to Abu Mansur, the Ethiopian government wants to eradicate the Somali Shilling and replace the country's currency with the Ethiopian birr. Somalia has lacked an effective national government since 1991, when warlords overthrew a military dictator and plunged the country into civil conflict. In December 2006, Ethiopian troops invaded Somalia to install the interim government in Mogadishu after dislodging Islamists from power. The Islamists have regrouped and are responsible for guerrilla attacks against the government and its Ethiopian backers, leading to a protracted conflict that has severely handicapped the Somali transitional government.
