I didn't realize Al-Shabaab were in the tabloid business. They claim war xasaasi iyo sir fakatay on every gossip they run. Neither Shabaab nor xisbul islam is culumo Soomaaliyeed or remotely considered one. These are militias fighting for power and fame. Aweys has his own plans and doesn't represent culumo Soomaaliyeed. And the child soldiers, they have the black flag. Culumada Soomaalida don't have a gun pointed at the beautiful blue sky falg. Soomaalida culumadooda wey qadariyaan.

Google's Chrome OS is not your regular Desktop or Laptop Operating System. It is free but web-based which means it works well when you've internet connection. It is designed to get you to the web faster. Everything is accessed through a web browser. No application installing. No third party software installation. No OS to manipulate or tweak. Heck, your private data may be even stored in a hard drive on one of the million server racks at Google. You would have to buy a brand new netbook to get it unless you want to try it in vmware platform. They said it connects to the web in just seven short seconds after pressing the power button but what happens if you're offline half of the time? This is good for the people who power on a computer only to be online 100% of the time. Good alternative for internet coffees.

Here's an interview with Sarah Palin supporters at a book signing in Ohio, yes Columbus Ohio. Let us just say the reporter did a good job keeping straight face and nodding his head in agreement. Talk about fake reinforcement. None of them could pick any clue at all. If this is not edited video, the republican party are in serious trouble. One of the comments reads: "I'm thinking half of them are going to go home and try to put it in their VCR."

I heard it on npr tonight on my back home and I thought Abdi waxoogaa buu xawaajiyeeyey bariidka. A twenty four year old Abdi teaches Engish, French and math, has a girl friend and dresses like rapper with a nickname tall American, in Moqdisho? Cusbada ka yaree dheh Cabdiyoow. It is disheartening to see school kids and civilians paying the highest price in Somalia's eighteen year civil war and still continue to do so. Yaa rabb!

^You assume the article got it right. Do you think Soomaalida weren't truely Muslims for not practicing the second pillar properly as the article claims? You think that's a factual statement? And did you read the last part of the sentence strengthening this perception of Soomaalida gaaleynaya and justifying the dhiig?

Caku ya carab! Foreign Ministry spokesman Hossam Zaki confirmed today that Egypt recalled its ambassador to Algeria after Egyptian fans were attacked by their Algerian counterparts following the two countries' playoff match in the 2010 World Cup qualifications held in Khartoum, Sudan, on Wednesday. The incident comes days after Algeria's ambassador to Cairo, Abdel Qader Hadjar, was summoned by the Egyptian government to explain violence against Egyptians living in Algeria in the days leading up to the crucial match, which Algeria won 1-0. Hadjar was summoned once again today, hours before a decision was issued to recall Egypt's ambassador in Algiers for "consultations." The Foreign Ministry announced that it informed Hadjar of "Egypt's extreme displeasure with the assaults on Egyptian citizens who went to Khartoum to support the Egyptian team." "Egypt also expressed its outrage and its denunciation after continuing reports and many appeals from Egyptian citizens residing in Algeria over the assaults and intimidation they face," the statement to Hadjar concluded. By defeating Egypt, Algeria won a berth in the 2010 World Cup to be held in South Africa. But the game was marred by tensions as Egyptian supporters and celebrities who were accompanying their national team called for help by phoning satellite television channels, describing how tough it was to leave the stadium amid Algerian fans' attacks. Some Egyptian fans said they were forced to find shelter in homes and villas offered by Sudanese residents until the situation calmed down. Egyptian Health Minister Hatem El Gabaly said today that 21 Egyptians were injured as a result of the post-match assaults. The soccer violence started on Saturday when Egyptians hurled stones at a bus carrying Algerian players from the Cairo airport to the city's stadium before an earlier qualifying match between the two teams. Three Algerian players were injured. -- Amro Hassan in Cairo

A bunch of morons upload a video of themselves attacking pedestrians and bicyclists in the streets of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. These dummies identify themselves in the video and seem to be bragging about their criminal activities. The police of both cities are investigating and asking victims to come forward. The video was removed but fox9news posted it on their site. Caaqiintaan maba sugi karo in darbiga jailka madaxa lala dhaco. Video on Fox9news YouTube video of Twin Cities assaults has police investigating YouTube prank video features teens and young men harassing pedestrians, knocking over bicyclists. By ABBY SIMONS, Star Tribune A YouTube video of eight younger males terrorizing bicyclists, pedestrians and children in what appears to be Minneapolis and St. Paul has triggered an investigation by both cities' police departments. Edited and set to music, the video shows the group of what appear to be teens or young men taking turns saying, "Watch this," before knocking down bicyclists and pedestrians and running away, laughing. Some of the pedestrians and a bicyclist appear to be older. In the six-minute, 20 second video, entitled "Watch This T.V.," the perpetrators give full names and nicknames such as "Lil Stain," "Shark," and "Gun Play." Police wouldn't say whether they believe the names were real, but they say they've identified the perpetrators and are trying to track them down. On the video, one of the attackers chases two young children who appear to be walking home from school and shoves one of them down a hill. Another throws something into the face of a convenience store cashier. At least one incident appears to have occurred along the Midtown Greenway in Minneapolis, where the attackers jump out at a cyclist, punching at him with boxing gloves. Other incidents appear to have happened in St. Paul, including at the intersection of University and Lexington avenues. The creator of the video, who posted it online Monday, describes it as "a group of Somali black males pulling pranks on people." Authorities aren't laughing. "It's disturbing to watch," said Sgt. Paul Schnell of the St. Paul police department. "Our first objective is that we want it to stop because we don't want somebody getting hurt." Schnell said the video also could lead to criminal charges. Schnell said several concerned citizens e-mailed the video to police Tuesday morning. "With absolute certainty there is a desire to talk to these people," Schnell said. "Whether criminal charges are brought will be dependent upon our ability to match the incident with actual reports by the victims." Schnell said there does not yet appear to be any spate of reports matching the incidents, which police believe are recent. Minneapolis police Sgt. Jesse Garcia also called the video "disturbing" and said the city's investigators are cross-checking it against reports of attacks. One Minneapolis incident, in addition to one on the Greenway, may have occurred near the light rail repair station below I-94. Garcia compared the video to one shot in June, in which several young people followed and taunted a gay man as he walked home from the Minneapolis Gay Pride festival. That video was posted on YouTube, but police were unable to identify the taunters, Garcia said. Though the most recent video has been removed, whoever posted it hinted that more videos were to come. The posting caused a backlash from commenters on the site. "This video has been sent to the police...have fun with that guys, " one said. "(These) fools let us Somalis down." another said.
