So my internal CD Burner is not working. I have a HP Pavilion, and all of a sudden my burner ceased to burn. The crazy thing is that my CD drive will play DVDs and music. But as soon as i put in a blank CD-R it does not even read it. Its annoying me. Please Help.

Look it is a sad thing that Somalis are being killed in SA. But I have been to SA and the place is increasingly dangerous for all people. So if a Somali is being successful in business he/she will probably get robbed or worse killed. In Jo'burg alone there were over 1700 murders reported by the SAPS(South African Police Service), by comparison Detroit and Baltimore combined had a little over 700 murders last year, and they are the most dangerous cities in America. So people im tired of hearing that Somalis are being targetted for murder in SA, because they arent being killed for being Somali per se, but intsead they are being killed for having money along with all the other folks being killed in post-Aparthiad SA. This such a sad situation in Lebanon. You know before I was of the thinking that in the broader view of world history that the Muslim world should pursue a comprehensive peace agreement with Israel, and that this agreement should include a creation of a real Palestinian state. I also thought that Israel really wanted to pursue with its niegbors. But Ehud Olmert's actions have really disabused me of all my peace hopes. It seems that Israel does not really want peace and in its new war plan she is pursuing a policy of punitive punishment of all the ppl of Lebanon. I could not imagine a better new peace partner for Israel than the gov't of Foud Sinoira but i think these Israeli actions are killing hopes of future peace.

Muslims killing Muslims, its nothing new and we as Somalis know it too painfully well. But I have started to notice a really scarry trend in Iraq. Shia Muslims killing Sunni Muslims and vice-versa. My question is where do you think this bloody split came from? What are your impressions of Shia Muslims? As for me growing up in the US I have been exposed to a lot of cultures, amongst them Shia Muslims. My best friend is an Iranian who is Shia and we look at one another as Muslims nothing less nothing more. But in the lead up to the American war on Iraq I started to hear all these pseudo-experts talk about this supposed huge split between Sunnis and Shia in Iraq. But the funny thing is that Shia served right next to their Sunni comrades in the Iraqi armed forces while Iraq fought Iran. Anyways was this new split in iraq created by the occupation or was it simmering before under Saddam and this war just let it come out.
