  1. OLOL , It would be nice to have an educated man representing Somalis. But don't you think there is no discord here given the fact that A/Y represents an illitrate society who are backward thinking? The shoe fits and you must cut some slack for the Old Man saxib. Somalida waa wax la mid ah iyo wax ka liita, so it is not fair in my opinion to single him out for anything. I see him as a true reflection of our society, who we are as people.
  2. A/Y isagaa iska qaribey fursadda ee loolama dhaqmin nin shisheeye inuu yahay. Despite the showy celebrations held by many among his immidiate clansmen, and their portrayal of A/Y's presidency as tribal victory, Others wanted the president in Mogadishu soon so they could expedite the death of warlordism and work with him if only out of disappointment and hatred for the local warlords. They thought he was better because he was an outsider to the feuding clans in Mogadishu. People didn't know about A/Y's plan if he won the presidency. They accepted him on faith that he was going to be better than the wolves among them. They didn't expect the long list of policies A/Y would unravel right after his election night. They took the word peace literally as if it meant the end of wars and conflicts between men whose avarice for everything evil surpassed that of the dead malevolent nations muslims read in the Quran. What chance did Atto and Yalaxoow had in those hopeful days when a president was elected?. They were kissing his bottom by declaring complete support for the government. A/Y had them in his hand. They were part of the so called government offocials, a government for the thugs ANYWAY and by the thugs and people didn't care if the thugs were gonna bring a change. A/Y squandered that rare never before seen propitious ambient for him and for everyone else. Colaaduu durbadiiba billaabey inuu abaabulo iyo inuu iska dhigo nin wax dheer the loser peers who voted for him. May be to him and to his loyal supporters, he is of some importance, but to the rest, he is nothing but nin shar badan oo aan la aamini karin in the least positive perception. A/Y personalized the politics, then the plague of tribalism caught on soon afterwards. You don't pour fuel to a burning fire. He and his suppoerter's campaign had been aimed at whole tribes and their trashing, at the city of Mogadish, at anyone who disagreed with A/Y. Their demonizing of others insensed everyone else who had nothing to lose by rejecting A/Y and his aggression or perceived aggression. It doesn't take much to attract hostility from any somali nowadays and a wise man should have known who he was dealing with. A/Y has the wisdom of the gun and thinks he can bring change by warring. Many of his supporters who are from his immidiate family have the same opinion. You won't see another somali routing for a war headed by A/Y. They think the name president or calling his organization somali government gives him the legal manouvering to KILL AS MANY AS HE PLEASES. Caqli xumada qaarkeed dawo ma leh. In any case, I don't think A/Y has the ability to wage a war on Mogadishu. He never will. Just another had-potential man who might have brought peace if he followed the right path but squandered it as his predecessors had done before him. Another dead man or dying man
  3. The only thing left for them is to reconstitute the old kingdom and the king and call it a day(Hobyo is gone this time for sure). Back to precolonial days of small kingdoms and roaming nomads with no loyalty to anyone. I think I find the latter nomads best suited for my ego as I despise to be ruled by anyone lool.
  4. I think A/Y replied with more sense than Duke and Sky would in here when challenged.
  5. Nice info Seven. Hadaad You are just a nerd lol.

  9. “ Xalay oo dhan waxaan laseexan weynay Hadalka Ibraahim shaaweey kasoo yeeray, waxaana mugga shaaweey u sheegeynaa in uu duq magaalo kasoo noqdo Ceelbuur oo halkaasi loogaga baahan yahay Mahaanna majirto cid uu jagadaasi u qaban karo, unuka waan ognahay xilliga uu Xamar soo galay iyo qaabkii uu kusoo galay†ayuu yiri Macalin Xaashi Mar uu Saxaafadda u waramayay kana hadlayay sababaha ay shirkaasi u qabteen. loool, goormee iigu dambeysey such nice accent spoken around me, macallinkeygii dugsiga quraankaan soo xusuustey maanta may Allah have mercy on him and forgive him. The xaashi man in the picture looks pious person, unfortunately, somali politics corrupt everyone as they are based on pure pre-islamic tradition of tribalism. Waa dhibaato haddii kii munafaqnimada wejiga kaga taalley iyo kii calaamadda mu'minnimada ka muuqatey isku dhaqan yihiin.
  10. LoooL, Hey FEMME , you got me big time lool. Are you available? passing up such perceptive woman is tantamount to treason. So, where can I find your dad? your brother? anyone responsible for your hand? Soo send garee the info. You know, I feel old anyway given the circumstances in my background. So I wouldn't mind if people consider me an Old guy. There is a lot of respect that comes with such perception about me and I do get to avoid underage girls who wouldn't dare talk to an old guy Caano Geel 35-40 female is okey, for the males, up till 45 are good, beyond that they better be considering themselves Old men.
  11. But bro, Somali women and keeping fitness is just like expecting hair to grow on your palms you know, so technically, a forty year Old somali woman is just too Old.
  12. Yea, typical senility creeping up on you dear Femme Fatale

May be this is not where many think a suitable partner can be found and want only to participate in discussions. Some do meet online, but I guess most people don't have the intension of meeting someone when registering online in a discussion forum. It depends on the person you ask anyway but this is why I think people you mentioned resisted.

  15. Bro Orgilaqe , they said Viagra is only three minute blast and nothing more. May be subag Goroyo or Qubada la sheego are the long term solutions loooooooool. Seven of Nine Bes waaye, can't say anything anymore. Your endearments melted me and exposed me as the sucker I am lol lol. I hate to lose but I will be a gentleman and give you the points.
  16. Seven of Nine you shall outlive your usefuleness before any man does according to the biological differences between men and women with no substance abuse on the part of the man. You have got something to worry about hon. But they got what they call BOTOX, no worries, I will stock them in the cooler just for you so you can keep pace with me for few more years.
  17. Legend, indeed you are legend, Zephy's type worship their men, building a shrine alone is understatement lol.
  18. Fidel, looool, saxib, adaaba isha ka tuurey. I am gonna join the club soon then. Zephy and Legend, thanks for the replies. 50 is just too old, Allah u naxariisto. Seven of Nine. You can't lie to yourself all the time darling

I wasn't clear bro, but having a conversation with friends sometimes, I describe certain people as old, and when I am asked about their age and I do tell it, people tell me that person is not an Old person and I shouldn't say it. So I thought I must have the wrong concept of when I can call someone Old. If someone is Forty, to me they are Old.
  20. Zephy, What can change your reservations about marriage? People marry in one of two ways, meet someone, fall in love with them, set aside all reservations, make the sacrifice and marry. The second option for late bloomers like me(who can't impress women on their own), is to ask family members to find one for them, trust their relative's and friend's judgement and marry on faith. So, where do you stand adiga? What can reduce or completely eradicate your fears of marriage if any?
  21. Sheherazade, Why do you have such fear about marriage?
  22. Out of curiousity, When do you consider someone to be an Old man or woman? At what age do you say this/that person is an old person.

There is no secret among somalis OLOL. I might know about it if it relates to politics anyway. Unless it would be deemed offensive by the admin, you shouldn't have deleted. Besides, did you know Jowhar is in a lock down ever since the president settled there? for security reasons, anyone getting into town will have to provide a family name and a phone number, actually the men at the control station might call up the family to make sure you are telling the truth. If you are not from the town tribewise, you are sent back with food in the same car you came with. I wasn't surprised at all when I was told hapless six ex-police officers who hailed from gedo were jailed when they went there to join the supposed recruits of the ex-police converging in the town. What do you think about the future if this is a small show for the bigger environment to come should A/Y go to Mogadishu? A president who lives in fear of his subjects and has to be guarded by few trusted men? Inaccessible president whom can't be seen, surrounded by a battalion for his security?
