Why don’t they air something worthwhile for me to read instead of this never ending public executions and shutting down of entertainment! When a movement sweeps to power and receives the support of the masses in such an rapturous way, it stands to reason that, from time to time, they’ll need to broadcast a new victory to show their supporters that they’re still ‘keeping it real’ as it were. LOOOL, I must have missed some funny comments I am obviously three days behind.
  2. Warkaan waa ka duwan yahay kan ay noo soo qoreen qabiiliistayaasha meeshaan taageersan amxaarada inay baydhabo degganaato. Dadka waa faraxsan yihiin saaxib sida ku qoran wararkooda in that town speaking of their misery under Ceydiid Sr/Jr(I wonder why they don't want to hang ina Aidid in the public square to get even, that would be good for all of us). Allaaba ugu gargaaray Imaashada Amxaarada as it seems. Aniga waxaaba ila fiican hadday sida la sheegaayo run tahay, In Laga talo baxo Amxaaro la dagaalankeeda maadaama dadkaan is leheen Amxaaro aysan raalli ka eheenaa loo keenay oo la iska dhiciyo TFGdaan gaala raaca ah and their dogs if and when they try to leave Baydhabo vicinities towards Muqdisho or towards other towns they have no business in being. Somalis should effectively deny A/Y and other warlords who converged in baydhabo any chance to ever come to muqdisho and surrounding areas. Amxaaradaaba xiran doonto if things don't work out too well as usual. Hore looma sheegin taariikhda meel soomaali deggan tahay oo intay Amxaaro timaaddo Nabad gelyo dadka ugu noolaaday. Dadkayba waxay u kala qeybisaa Jaajuus iyaga u shaqeeya sida dadka hadda ku faraxsan imaashaheeda iyo kuwo la ciqaabo hadday ka hadlaan Amxaarka agtooda saxarada la fadhiya. Waxaa ku dartaa fasahaadinta bulshada with their AIDS. Qof damiir ku jiro wallahi inuu hal habeen meelay kuwaan soo galaan ku noolan karin iska daa inuu dharkoda xirto ama la shaqeeyo. All in all, Ninkii Gumeysiga madoow la seexda ayay dhibtaa, soomaalida jecel islaamka iyo xorriyaddana haku noolaato freedom unmolested by the Ethiopia and their stooges. I can guarantee you, tomorrow wax yaalo aad foolxun inaan maqli doonno iyo dhibaatooyin laga soo weriyo Baydhabo. Soomaalinimo iyo Islaanimo waxaa ka muhiimsanaatay Qabiil in loo adeego iyo dana gaar ah ilaa waddankii la keensado Amxaaro.

  5. I am not the one who gave an outlanish reply when confronted with the factual inforamtion given by someone in here whose parents are in Baydhabo confirming the Ethiopians are there and people are not allowed to travel outside town, you were also shown pictures of the tigre but inssited on your side of the story. Anyway, my message to you is, while you show us pictures of progressive somali towns and places you obviously care about, you hyocritically advocate the destraction of others by supporting the mad man who is related to you. Muqdisho may not be the immidiate target of the Ethiopian Army but still other somalis live in fear and can't give even their names to the media outlets to relate what is going on in their hometowns, they are besieged in their homes and towns all over the border all the way to Waajid. Dib isugu noqo saxib and re-examine your morality.
  6. If I were you Duke, I would have shown little solidarity with other somalis today who are worried about wars and who are going to deal with A/Y whose region and relatives are safe yet is hell bent on destroying others with the help of AMXARO. The rest of the country is at war and worried about A/Y's murderous campaign. These pictures though progressive and good, have little significance to other somalis concerned that their towns and relatives are besieged by the Ethiopian Army invited by A/Y. they would hope to have the same relative peace these people are enjoying but it seems with A/Y in their middle, they won't get that peace.
  7. How about A/Y il presidente fires Geeddi and Ina Aydiid through the parliament and throws his lot with the Courts? That would be his best move that saved Somalia. These two no longer represent the clans they were meant to represent during the TFG formation. They serve no purpose at all. That is why perhaps they behave as if they have got nothing to lose by creating all these tensions.
  8. If it turns out to be false, that is good. That is what we want, No ethiopian army to create unnecessary conflicts. That is the bottom line. With that said, still, the TFG has a problem. Nation Muqdisho equates Somalia to those who care about it. Nabad halaga helo the TFG. That is all people over there need. The TFG can go settle where it is welcome. Yaa raba dhibkooda to begin with?
  9. The reports are too many to discreedit and from many different sources and towns in the border areas. The latest is on SOL'S fron page news Ethiopian soldiers enter 2nd Somali town By MOHAMED OLAD HASSAN, Associated Press Writer 9 minutes ago BAIDOA, Somalia - Ethiopian troops trying to protect Somalia's weak government moved into a second Somali town before dawn Saturday, seizing control of an airport, witnesses and aid workers said. ADVERTISEMENT About 200 Ethiopian troops with at least five pickup trucks mounted with machine guns and other vehicles moved into Wajid at about 3 a.m. The soldiers took control of the town's airport from a militia serving the local administration, said several witnesses who spoke on condition of anonymity because they feared reprisals. It was not clear if the Ethiopian troops encountered any resistance. Aid workers and U.N. staff in the town also said there were Ethiopian soldiers in Wajid, 46 miles southeast of the border with Ethiopia. They also asked not to be identified by name because of the sensitivity of the issue. Ethiopian troops first moved into Somalia on Thursday to protect the U.N.-backed interim government, which has been challenged for power by Islamic radicals who have taken control of the capital, Mogadishu.
  10. Dharka Amxaarada ha iska bixiyaan marka, That distant association is as bad. Soomalida ma jecla Amxaaro so anything to distance the TFG from their masters should be tried. Nin Amxaar alla baday wax ka liito ma jiraan runtii. Amxaaro hakuu soo labisto shows who you are. If this TFG leadership had nothing to hide and they were interested in peace talks with others, all these unnecessary arguments wouldn't have happened. The TFG sided with the warlords and welcomed them, they boycotted the Sudan meetings because they were unhappy with Abdi Qeybdiid's defeat in Muqdisho as publicly stated by Ina Ceydiid and Geddi, A/Y dined with the warlord and travelled with him to Mudug and said nothing. They constantly look for disputes with others when there should be none. They are concerned with power and greed so anything that threatens their absolute grip on power is not welcome in their book. So how can all these facts about these corrupt men scape from your observation if you were honest Mr.Nation? Even if these ethiopian troops turn out to be false, the TFG is effectively isolated from Muqdisho and environs. So what are they gonna do if they don't agree with the courts? They can't wage a war on a region that don't want them, staying put on Baydhabo won't work ultimately, they won't disband and accept defeat. Anyway you look at the situation, the only option for the TFG is to wage a war on people. That won't solve anything but will prolong the suffering of people because no one will submit to these thugs and in the end after much death adn destracton, they will go. So how long do we have to deal with these murderous men?
  11. So we are lost in between several groups I see:- Group A: Those who reject the islamic Sharia Laws and consider it barbaric as they expressed. For this group, criticizing somalis for wanting to be Arabs is the only option they have knowing they will face hostility if they openly pronounced their true beliefs. Sharia laws are easy target for them to vent their frustration with somalis for being silly muslims Group B: This group want to hold on to what they saw their forefathers practice as islam i.e, Ziyaaro aadis(arranged yearly if not monthly graveyard visitations) like Biyooleey(which they said equates going to Hajj if you travelled seven times), Xaramka Jilib(I am not kidding, they named it "Xaram" just like the one in Mecca), Saint/Awliya worship like praying to the dead sheekh and slaughtering animals for them. They think of Saints as beings who are closer to god and thus ask them(their dead decayed bodies beneath the earth) to intercede for them while they pray on their graves, leave papers with some messages on the graves as if the dead man will read somehow in the dark of the night, Istunka, What they called "Dikriga" which was performed in circles like Qaadirya/Saalixiya/Ahmadiya used to do on certain nights in our village, and many other sectarian practices Somalia was known for. These somalis are suspicious of the new brand of islam that looks down on these polytheistic practices. So for these somalis, they are sincere but lack the knowledge to differentiate what is islamic(as taught in the Quran and in the Prophet's Sunnah) and what is man made which were introduced into the religion at a much later date by deviant groups seeking the pleasure of God. Group C: The unfortunate black Somali who thinks being an Arab entitles him some superior status.
  12. Naxar, when someone doesn't appreciate the fact that over a million somalis who lived under brutality for sixteen years are liberated from the warlords, he has credibility problem. One reason many people look down on the word "nationalism", "government" and related institutions is because the people who advocate for them have narrow clan interests rather than wanting to serve in government to work for the common man. This is why Majority of somalis don't see these TFG rulers as credible personalities. There is no legitimacy today in the eyes of most somalis for this TFG. They care more about their seats and selfish interests than they are in peace and sacrifice for the common cause. Of course, all these facts are obvious to you but you have a bigger enemy to worry about, the people you called "moryan" so do carry on your rants.

You know, I am a coward, don't be fooled by some of my comments, can't participate in real war if it came to that. Plus I have a good excuse, Madiyaan ahay. I should be making many babies instead. Sure though, we need to ease up on the cyber civil wars and try to come to an understanding since we have the same objective if we are somalis. Hey, waa sii hadaafaa, keep up the fun saxib or kid
  15. Ever since the Iraq invasion by the US, the middle east has been in turmoil. The most shocking of all is to read Iraqis are killing each other to the tune of a hundred per day. Babies are not even safe from the sectarian violence. The region was realing with the images beamed from iraq and now Lebanon's destraction. you can understand why the Saudis are nervous and are blaming the only people they can, their own brethren.
  16. The poll replies are funny, Should I reveal what I signed? Me You have a sense of humour, something needed in this conflict ridden part of the forum. We hardly laugh and deal with each other as mortal enemies. Horta aniga madaxa inaan wax ka garaaco waan iska jeclahay, can't watch some twisted minds I know it is wrong and this is just a place for discussion but I can't help. PS: Sorry to be disrespectful but wanted to ask if you were a gentleman or a lady? Forgive me if you were a male and I offended you. Surely it is bad for a male ego to be confused with a woman. Good thing someone I know doesn't read the political section
  17. Question is, is this Nugaaleed dude Soomaali dhalad ah? There are somalis who support the TFG and who have the decency to not portray Ethiopia a Somali saviour or would call Melles Selfless man by sending troops across the border for his own political gain at home. You have to wonder wuxuu aaminsan yahay naxar. I don't know why I should waste my time but to highlight few facts about Ethiopia see these links. Extrajudicial execution of youths Ethiopia: Hidden Crackdown in Rural Areas The Dark Side of Ethiopia’s “Green Revolution†Ethiopia: Crackdown Spreads Beyond Capital Ethiopia: Political Dissent Quashed Ethiopia: Crimes Against Humanity in Gambella Region This is just the tip of the iceberg about the realites in Ethiopia and its government. No single Ethiopian ethnicity with the exception of Tigres have anything good to say about the Ethiopian government yet you have Naxar preaching to us otherwise and pointing fingers to somalis who are enemies.
  18. Think-Tanks are biased and sell their own version of truth to the world, therefore, you can imagine how many versions of truths will be sold for consumption by somalis with differing interests. It would be nice though if some brothers made money selling an honest opinion about the facts on the ground.
  19. Subxanallah, it is puzzling to me a positive topic which can bring people together be erased like that bro Horn? Perhaps clan names was mentioned in your post or something? Not that I doubt what you say or you but it is beyond me why would someone take the time to delete such information? As for the properties missing from many somalis in Muqdisho, every sensible person new it depended on authority and justice in a land where the stronger ate the weak for people to get back what they lost. Our family including both my parents lost lands on which others built upon new homes and other houses occupied by people after our family couldn't live in them for security reasons, namely in Boondheere, Sanca, and Madiina Abo gedo agteeda. We understood some of these are temporarily lost properties and depended on peace but I wonder how one can demand back a piece of land on which someone else has built upon? We hope the courts get stronger so they can fight for the dispossessed, the displaced and the weak who have no clan to rely on.
  20. Nice pics, I hope this is prelude to many good things to come after.
  21. Rayaana, it is my fault sis, Duke has no hand in this, I was the instigator of the argument in this thread, my apologies to you and to other muslims as well.

No Xoogsade, you are mistaken, it is you who is disturbed, who is suffering, it is you who can not see beyound clan.. Remember I was against the warlords of Moadishu long before it became fashionable, I have and continue to support the unarmed clans which you conveniently overlook. I support the national government of Somalia. I will continue to.. You need to reflect on what you writte.... Now back to the topic... Most of your clansmen on this forum are outstanding saxib. I wouldn't mind getting to know some of them in real life so I could learn few things from them or chatt. You will never see me talk to them negatively. All I said was directed against you as an individual and like-minded others but not towards your clan. Qof walba siduu yahay aa lagula dhaqmaa, Al-cadaalah ha illoobin. Now more on the story... Does your family in Muqdisho know how bad you want A/Y to have MIG-21s, tanks and heavy artillery so he can reduce them to ashes and rule over their ghosts? I always remember your animosity towards others no doubt. To me, Duke=Colaad. I don't need to paint yourself, you do the painting in a more profound way than I can ever master.
