  2. Democracy, what democracy, it's a western concept, rooted in western experience rolled out to the rest of the world as liberal democracy due to its supposedly triumphalism, focused on transforming political systems in such a way that legitimises intervention/protection of the western interest instead of rightful constituencies.... lol democracy lord help me people are overfeed with its illusion that they start subscribing to its existence. Do me a favour if you know anything about democracy you will know there is no such thing as democracy there is only interest/power accumulation.... ps highly recommended book for you Democracy for the few...go and read it
  3. Malika, it's a sound plan, I wish I was hallucinating Ng but I am not and don't taint my love with Mills & Boon talk (ohh how I used to go throw them daily and my mum thinking there corrupting my innocent brain)…ibti dear yes I did, the man was an upright man, you don't understand at tender age of 10 i fell in love with him his speech on woman’s emancipation captivated me in ways that I cant explain…malika yes words cant describe this man, he came from nothing and achieved the impossible, he lived by example and latter paid a hefty price his own death/betrayed by his own….
  4. Ignore him, believe me its a double edge sword that one, i have learnt from experience ignore it.
  5. Why laugh at my love ibti? am in love with a simple man who had simple but radical ideas…ehh why "The human being," he said, "this vast and complex combination of pain and joy, solitary and forsaken, yet creator of all humanity, suffering, frustrated and humiliated, and yet endless source of happiness for each one of us, this source of affection beyond compare, inspiring the most unexpected courage, this being called weak but possessing untold ability to inspire us to take the road of honor, this being of flesh and blood and of spiritual conviction - this being women, is you.
  6. Before falling asleep I love reading me some book, so there it was a book or shall say condensed speeches/life story of a man I secretly been in love with for donkey years…so I read and read and couldn't sleep I just wanted to finished the whole thing…before I knew it was time to go to work, I was cursing myself but at the same time I was happy I could not believe it I was happy full of ideas radical they maybe but I was buzzing with my renewed LOVE for this man. God help me I love this man he is the only one I would have willingly/happily forfeited my gold digger ways and would not have given shit what anyone said married him in a heartbeat…RIP my love RIP….they don't manufacture them this good anymore … all teary today maybe its because I didn't sleep last night who knows…

  16. I seriously don't understand Somali weddings they compete on cost/aim for lavish weddings but most of the time/99.9% of the times there crap with hideous food, awful/unmanaged guest list, the people/most anyway are ungrateful and find pleasure in cursing your wedding anyway. The worse part of it all the couple then embark on married life with hefty debt-repayment awaiting for them, joining the race to get council house, so they stay in one of those battered-woman’s shelter homes pregnant and claiming that there husbands are not there husbands but there lovers who knocked them-up. Someone once told me that one needs to make a choice ie you either choose wedding or marriage, sadly a lot of the woman who opt for the former end up having a complicated start, so dear Aaliah am not saying lavish weddings are bad god only knows every-woman has her dream wedding planed to the dot, but do remember fiscal deficit is not a good way to start a marriage (listening to malika + Ms DD who already have husbands will only get you into trouble) but if the man is wealthy enough to afford that and a home then girl milk him like the cash cow he is if not I suggest you seriously consider a house before you join the my wedding is more expensive than yours race which seems to be dominating the marriage circus lately. p.s word of advise, visit the woman you know who had a lavish wedding…you will see what am talking about most of them are in shitty position now, in hindsight am sure they would have chosen wisely.
