Noobi,That puts a very good perspective on things. In 2000, after the government was formed in Arta, there were demonstrations and arrests in the northeast as well. It seems Somali governments share a collective disdain for public shows discourse among populous. Sad really.

The petrol prices are outrageous...$58 per barrel? In Europe, especially, prices are exorbatant. At the very least however, it has become a very good excuse when one is tired or just plain does not want to be bothered

This government always seem to start conflict in Sool whenever there is unrest on the homefront. And if Somali warlords can be reconciled, why not a people who share so much in common? I am very hopeful that we will be able to bring all on board and unite out nation.

The rains now preventing these two sides from fighting is perhaps a signal to keep the peace during this holy month.
