Indeed, she should be let go, but she needs to leave the engagement ring.

Engagement ring? She can keep that as far as I'm concerned. :) Everyone knew these talks were directly related to that embarrassing London episode back in February. Perhaps the plan was to string the Mister along for a few more dates, in order to squeeze herself into a better position come august when the white man returned to Somali politics? Whatever the case, things just got too real when President Sharif sent that envoy and she was out! Good riddance.

  2. You should give us a small description. I found that names are easy to give to things u can picture. ;)

Side story, my kid brother named our pet bunny Beele (his way of saying bakeyle), when we were young. Pets are awesome. Every child should have one!

  3. Cool beans. By the way, looking through that first Wiki link had me slightly a.d.d-ing about how the naming of Ethiopians comes about. Do families not share last names? Are they named after their dads like we do? Do you or anyone know ?

  5. Heart breaking tale. The doctors she went to that took those diagnostic tests utterly failed tis family. This is canada not calcutta...Could they not have detected it before it spread potentially savin this woman's life? I worry about the lack of preventative care in our community. It's so needed, yet so few women go. Even after early signs are detected. I suppose it's my anger, and sadness speaking, atm. Kadra's time was up. Nothing, no doctor could have done for her, even if he tried. Allahu nahariisto, and Samir and eeman to her family.

Yes your right, but the TFG is in the process of adopting the new constitution, once that is in place then they will open the door for parties and be elected. but before that they will have a new admin in August which will launch hopefully party politics.

This system bodes well for Somalia. In the 1960s we were one of the most democratic countries in the world. Might even be the solution that finally eliminates qawiil in politics. Best of luck to Drs. Qassim and the Tayo party.
