    A question

What is considered holy in Islam? Is there a defintion? Can you say that palestine is holy, eventhough Umar r.a. declared it to be? HOLY=??? Live In Peace!
  2. Another brainwashed muslima who takes part in this quasi debate, oppressed women my ... The concept of the oppressed muslim woman is the opiate of the western feminist strugle. How pathetic.
  3. Garaad Cabdulqani dhambaalkiisa, wuxuu ku qoray; “Anigoo ku hadlaya magacayga, magaca Isimada iyo magaca dadweynaha deegaanada bariga Somaliland waxaan kuu soo gudbinayaa salaan diirran oo kal iyo laab ah. taas oo ku saabsan jagada Guddoomiyenimada Golaha Guurtida Somaliland ee laguu magacaabay. Waxaana u arkaa magacaabista laguu magacaabay jagadaas inay tahay arrin wax-ku-ool ah oo dan u ah ummadda Somaliland. waxaanan aaminsanahay inaad ku buuxinaysid jagadaa waaya-aragnimada iyo ruugcadaanimo labadaba. 4. Until about 3 weeks ago, I would definetly have said IN. But then I wittnessed a birth. Acuudi bilaahi minal shaydaani rajiim. You know how ppl always say that childbirth is beautiful, a miracle, a wonderful experience..BULL, that's just propaganda. OUUT!
  5. Being a somali is an ethnicity, and not a nationality. There are millions of ethnic somalis. You are confusing Somaliya and soomali. Somalikenyans, somaliethiopians, somalijabuutians, somalisomalilanders..and so on. Nothing wrong with that. I consider myself to be a swede without it contradicting my ethnic identity. *Loong Liff Somaliland* *One Loof*
  6. Are you confused? You must be confused. Socialism, marxism, communism or whatever it's called, has been one of the most dangerous ideologies of the last century. Hundreds of thousands if not millions have lost their lives under the watchword 'religion is the opiate of the people'. (My dad will kill me for saying this..) It's a totalitarian ideology. Tankis, but no tankis.
  7. Koola Buufis Beenalay. I dont blame her for anyhting though. She obviously mentally ill. This woman was adopted and grew up in america, she's american. According to her, she agreed on going out on a date with SAMI (that's what she calls usama) in MAROCCO, where she then says she was held for six months. I mean come on, that's the worst lie I've ever heard. Even worse is (taas eey na isku kashiftay) that she to this day, even after the alledged rape, calls Usama 'erotic', balaayo baas, she deserves to be beheaded for spreading such lies! I mean, Usama, sexy? Jinni ku kufsay!

  10. You can send flowers to any man, but a somali man. Seriously, do you have a deathwish? Naa that will defintely give their skinny bodies more buufis, and before you know it.. Just not worth it, so DONT!
  11. Guantanamo hearings set to begin Tuesday 24 August 2004, 10:42 Makka Time, 7:42 GMT Detainees face life terms in prison and even death Related: Rights group slams Guantanamo trials Britons file Guantanamo abuse report Guantanamo status review set to begin Tools: Email Article Print Article Send Your Feedback The first four Guantanamo detainees are to be arraigned in preliminary hearings on Tuesday before their cases go to military commissions or trials. The hearings have been lambasted by foreign governments, lawyers and human rights groups. The men face varying charges of conspiracy to commit terrorism. None are accused of killing Americans. While the maximum sentence they face is life in prison, the military commissions - the first in nearly 60 years since the United States tried German saboteurs - will have the power to sentence others to death and there is no independent appeal process. Significant challenges already exist before the first scheduled hearing. One defence attorney has not seen his client in four months because of a government delay in giving clearance to a translator. Another defence lawyer has withdrawn from the case after accepting another job, leaving her client with no representation. Restrictions Others say the broad restrictions, which include the military's right to monitor conversations between attorneys and clients, will make it almost impossible to win their cases. The Bush administration has defended the process Jumana Musa, a representative of Amnesty International, said the system was unfair because it was so tilted towards the prosecution and there was no independent body involved in the appeals process. "I don't think it is a concern that because they are drawn from the military per se that they can't be independent. The concern is that there is no independent body that anyone can appeal to." Musa added: "The concern here is that the whole process itself is entirely closed where if they appeal they don't appeal to an appeals court outside the system, they just appeal up the chain of command within the same system." But the Bush administration has defended the process. One issue the commission authorities expect to come up involves the use of information against the men that could have come from interrogations at Guantanamo and other overseas outposts. False confessions Several detainees released from Guantanamo Bay claim to have made false confessions during interrogations lasting anywhere from two to 15 hours. Detainees were subjected to arduous interrogation sessions Only four of the Guantanamo detainees have been charged so far, while charges against 11 others are pending approval. Most of the men in the camp have been refused access to attorneys. All are considered enemy combatants - a classification that, unlike prisoners of war, allots the men less protection under the Geneva Conventions. Military commissions are reserved for foreign-born captives and have lower standards for prosecution than American civilian courts. At this week's open preliminary hearings - expected to last four days - charges will be read to the men, who can enter pleas. Their lawyers will also be able to make motions. It could be months before the military commissions or trials begin. ------------ aljazeera.net

By countries selling weapons of a high magnitude to both side is the main reason Aca's wars linger and lag on and have no victorious outcome for eiter side. This is why the war in the Congo is still raging on. That is why the civil war in Angola never actually ended. Thats why the warin mozambique diddnt end until the fall of he marxist-communist goverment. and N.Korea has already confirmed it has WMDs. In fact it actualy brag about having them in 1998 and even tested a few near Japan in the South China Sea. in ur own opinion, are countries like the us more fit to posses a WMD?
  13. Salaam! I've got the impression that you have an islamic book collection, how about shedding some nur on this issue. It's about what age our beloved Caaesha radiyaLahu Canhu was when she married the prophet salalahu caleyhi wa salam of God. A friend of mine said that she must have been 19-20 years when she married nabi Maxamaden salaLahu caleyhi wa salam because.. 1. Abdrahman, son of Abu Bakar r.a. fought at the battle of Badr. he was then 21-22 years old, since Caesha was 3-4 years younger, that would have made her atleast 17 years old. 2. According to Ibn Kathir (who?) in his work Al-Badayah, Sayeda Asma, sister of Caesha, dided 73 a.H, she was then 100 years old. Since Asma was 10 years older than her sister, that would have made Caesha 17-18 @ hijra (and Asma 28-29 years old). 3.According to Maulana Syed Sulaoman Nadvi (again, who?) in her book Seet-i-Aishah p. 153; The last days of Mouvihas caliphate (??) were the last days of Caeshas r.a. life, she dide @ 67 years old, which is 40 years after the death of Nabi Maxamad salaLahu caleyi wa salam. This means that C. was 27 when our prophet salaLahu caleyhi wa salam died. This would mean that she was born four years b4 hijra. I dont know about the above references, maybe you have them? Or can get old of them? Then there are hadiths that like this one Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) married her when she was six years old and consummated the marriage when she was nine years old, and she stayed with him for nine years.†(Reported by al-Bukhaari, 4738) ..that aren't coherent with this one.. Volume 1, Book 8, Number 465: Narrated ’Aisha: (the wife of the Prophet) I had seen my parents following Islam since I attained the age of puberty. Not a day passed but the Prophet visited us, both in the mornings and evenings. My father Abii Bakr thought of building a mosque in the courtyard of his house and he did so. He used to pray and recite the Qur’an in it. The pagan women and their children used to stand by him and look at him with surprise. Abu Bakr was a Softhearted person and could not help weeping while reciting the Quran. The chiefs of the Quraish pagans became afraid of that (i.e. that their children and women might be affected by the recitation of Quran).†JazzakaLahu Khairun
  14. The US Congress is set to honour UK Prime Minister Tony Blair with its highest civilian honour. The Congressional Gold Medal was first struck to honour the first US President, George Washington, for his services in the Revolutionary War of Independence against Great Britain.. Another brilliant move from the skilled tacticians of the imperials force. 'Hey Dick, how about rewarding our fav. prison biajj?' 100 somali shillin on it backfiring it on them. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/3008777.stm

  17. Arab Press Don't Blame Zionism For The Violent Arab Culture 14:46 Aug 13, '04 / 26 Av 5764 The journalist and former Kuwaiti Communications Minister, Dr. Sa'ad Bin-Tafla, said that violent tendencies in Arab culture have deep roots and are not a product of the conflict with Zionism. "I believe we are all responsible for this culture and Zionism and Imperialism have no part in it," Bin-Tafla declared in a recent interview with Jordanian television, "It is incorrect to say that violence is the result of the occupation. The French occupation left Algeria after a million victims fell, and then 100,000 Algerians were slaughtered by other Algerians, in the name of Islam, within less than ten years. That is to say, sadly, more than even Israel could have killed during the period of the intifada. This violence has cultural roots, unconnected to the occupation.... "The number of killed in Algeria and those killed by other Arab regimes is greater than the number of Palestinians killed by Israel..." the former Kuwaiti minister explained, adding, "There is a culture of violence that existed before the Americans arrived in Iraq and the Gulf, and even before the Israeli occupation in Palestine; before the American occupation in Afghanistan...." Bin-Tafla stated, "the slaughter, the destructive abuse, the anarchy and the bloodshed do not approach in any way the legal definition of Jihad or resistance. It is anarchy and terrorism and is indicative of frustration and a culture of collective suicide reminiscent of whales [which beach themselves]. Such a culture stems from objective and personal reasons." Bin-Tafla traces the source of much of the frustration among Arab youth to "an extremist religious stream" in the Islamic world. "It tells [the youth], 'You must achieve one of two things - martyrdom or victory,'" the Kuwaiti journalist explained, "It prettifies the culture of violence and describes it as resistance and Jihad." Bin-Tafla also lays the blame on the Arab media: "Unfortunately, many in television, radio and print media... pushed these youth towards frustration and caused them to die needlessly, killing others with them, and to divide the world into black and white." http://www.israelnationalnews.com/news.php3?id=67311 --------------------------------------------- Have to admit that he's definetly got a point. But on the other hand, you cant just overlook imprealism in the case of Algeria for example. When a so called 'islamist' party won, Paris opposed. And I doubt that palestinians blow themselves up in the air just for fun. But ppl tend to blame everything on The Big Capitalist Devil and The Sneeky Jew maffioso (who apparently run the world  ), instead of taking actions and fighting against nepotism&hippocracy. So in that sence, he's absolutely right!!

  23. M, I totally agree..if peace is ever restored, I doubt that there will be a strong central gov..,that seems to be what all these presidential canidates expect and paradoxically enough, that will be the reason of it's downfall. I see a federation of some kind..each one with it's own primitive desert-flag and so on.
