I recently went to a Somali restaurant and noticed that almost every guy in there was wearing a Blue Tooth [you know the cell phone thing that you wear on your ear]. Most of em walked in wearing their earpiece like it's an accesory. Trying to look cool and important like they might get that make or break call at any moment and cut business deals while pulling a goat leg. Maybe I am behind the times, but I thought this was very shallow. I would be understanding if these men were Doctors or some profession where they needed to be on alert, but that wasn't the case. Poor men! Do they still think a cell phone is a status symbol? Xaggee la joogaa?

  3. I don't see why men shouldn't be concerned about their skin, and skin that is too dry and doesn't receive necessary moisture will age faster! So men, tis ok to slap some huruud & qasil on as long as you don't end up prettier than your Xalimo. I don't use hurud & qasil, Alxamdulilah I'm blessed with great genes, I rarely ever get a fin-qooq. My absolute number one secret: Olive Oil..does wonders for your skin. My mother [the queen of natural beauty products] swears by it. Here's the recipe: Mix about 1 teaspoon of white sugar with enough olive oil to make a paste. Rub it on your skin and leave it on for about 30 minutes. Rinse with warm [not super hot] water until all the grit of the sugar is gone. Then pat dry with towel. Remove all oil left... BE VERY GENTLE..no hard rubbing. Waxad arki your skin so soft, shiny and glowy ma cuntaa ba ku qabani. I found this to work better than most expensive products on the market.
  4. To love, honor, and... OBEY?!? I was at a wedding last weekend and these words were uttered as part of the ceremony... Seemed like they were getting married to their dog!
  5. Seeing a Somali woman with a non Somali doesn't bother me. However, seeing a Somali man with habar buuranoo cad I find quite upsetting. Waxa i qabata ma whack-gareesa over the head with a wrench.. I'd feel a whole lot better.

  7. Subhanallaah! You Have All come to hear the words of Allah (Lord of the worlds) You have All come to hear the words of the leader of all prophets (Muhammad) How is this not insulting? . Saying 'you've come to hear the words of Allah' when in fact people have flocked to hear him sing, and watch him is luxlux dumarka hortiisa..equating his words with those of Allah and the prophet [scw] is completely blasphemous!!!! It won't be long before Al-Shabaab places a bounty on his head.

For people who do remove all their eyebrows and put a pencil line there, don't you think they've suffered enough from 80s fashion faux pas without being thrown in hell too? L0L . The good thing about the drawn-on brows is that if you're feeling pissed off that day, you can draw them at a 45 degree angle / ..lol 17. Pride and arrogance I can understand the sin of arrogance, but why, exactly, is 'pride' considered to be a sin? It's taken me a lot of effort to become good at what I do - why should I not take pride in my accomplishments? ps. Thanks for the remider sister, very timely for me!
  9. woow, remind me abboo, shimee noqotay af-hayeenka xisbiga unknownska? unknown: Be a good Muslim gentelman, lower your gaze.
  10. Wow! Stare at me, get a finger in your eye. So tell me Sajaqaan, how many times have you been arrested? Looking like you're gonna drag some girl into a white van!
  11. If you're kids turn out to be drug addicts, gangsters etc then I can safely conclude you're a bad mother. Mothers are NOT soley responsible for how their kids turn out. It's ludacris, and rather vain, for you to think that a child will only be influenced by a mother and nothing or no one else over his/her lifetime. There are way too many outside influences at work, and way to many people who came from good homes and good families who turned out bad. A bad sheep in a family is raised and taught the same way as the rest of the siblings, when all others turned out to be well adjusted, decent and respectful adults, that bad one could be in drug and in jail. Waa ku dhalee isoo raac ma taal meesha. It is not like training a dog to sit and stay. Kids eventually have to go out on their own and make their own choices..and, like any adult, not all of those choices will be good ones.

Instead, he'll keep doing what he has always done: either ignore the evidence altogether, or try to change the subject by bringing up bullchyt [yet again]. If video were to surface of Xabashis engaging in a Satanic ritual involving the murder of Somali children, and women these people would find some way of blaming Al-Shabaab. Subhanalah! 20. Very interesting item on eBay. A Woman tells and sells. UP FOR AUCTION ARE: One Empty Condom Packet (SIZE small) And a Photo Of the Pair Of 'The Tart's' Knickers (SIZE HUMONGOUS) SO HERE'S THE STORY SO FAR......... Once upon a time there was a women who, after 22 years of marriage, found evidence that the soon to be ex-husband, had had 'The Tart' in their marital bed this very afternoon. This low life deceitful son-of-a-person ( I'm all for political correctness) blatently denied that this event took place even though the evidence is irrefutable and is now up for auction on e-bay.. Very creative I think... props to the seller!
  21. I am addicted to watching the olympic games, specially the gymnastics, diving, swimming and valley-ball so far. What is killing me is the beauty and human spirit of the athletes and the pride many of their countrywomen and men have seeing them compete and win. What is more captivating and astounding to see is so many talented girls doing such acrobatic and aesthetic sports and I think to myself where are the Muslim girls? Dude, gymnastics/volleyball/diving, all wear things we don't normally want to see on a Muslim girl/person. Even if the Olympic committee were to allow the wearing of longer more modest uniforms for Muslim players, the non Muslims would still have advantage over us because of the comfort and flexibility that comes with their [half-nakedness] attire. Less clothes means easier breathing, it does help when you have to move fast, move your arms etc etc..Abuu maryo weeyne, eey baa cunaya, 17th place baa ku sugi koleey.. sheekadii waxaa ka dhacayso ahayd "mana dhawni magacna i raac" . 100 degrees soo istaag adoo raran ee qorax isku dil, 17th place-na gal, dhibkeeday leedahay! I had a hard time watching the men's diving duos the other night with their skin tight speedos! Istaqfurullaah! Did anyone notice where every guy's hands flew once the camera showed them under the surface of the water?
