Asalamu Alaykum bros ans sistas I was surprised to see my name mentioned since I dont often post many topics but I'd like to thank Mujahid and all the other members of dis site.I'm glad to see dat Islam is on its way up to the ppl's hearts.

Asalamu Alaykum bros and sis,I'd like to talk about wy it is important to educate somali youngers.As muslims we often assume dat our young somalis know everything about Islam like wat to avoid or wat is halal.Im not sayin dat older ppl know everything too but I noticed dat sum youngs r lacking a lot of informations regarding Islam.Half of the sumali communities in western societies dont pray or often dont talk about the fact dat sum somalis drink booze,smoke weed or even act like gangstas.Which brings the question wy the lack of deen?Im not tryin to find a scapegoat but I believe dat parents should pay attention to wat their children do and they should start their islamic education at an early age cuz I'm sure it's hard to change a person at the adolescence or adulthood.But then how can u expect a child to listen to Quran or avoid haram things when his/her parents dont teach him/her sum islamic guidelines?It takes a lot to change but we need sum guides first of all our parents.To the future somali parents who read this,plz educate ur children before it's too late.Take care.

Sup'to all da malis out there, Im from Tdot one of the best city in da world( ok not alwayz wit the SARS,lol),we had a long winter and thank God it's gone,now we can chill outside enjoy da spring.By da way Im a student,luv music,movies,cartoons specially mangas.Any malis livin in the Downtown area???

Sup to ma nomadz ,I think dat marryin while bein in college isnt dat hard izz not a mission impossible.To be honest it's not even a big deal,most of the time ppl think dat marryin at a young age is dificult cuz u have to complete ur studies or u wont have time to see each other and the blabla goes on.But the truth is even when ur done wit ur studies u still have to work right?And then u might not always enjoy a quiet moment wit ur husband or wife everyday cuz u might come home late from work.My point is it doesnt matter whether ur in college or not ,if ur wit the right person and ur both willin to compromise ,things might work just well,Allah is wit us.

Sup'to ma nomad community,Modesty it's a real joy for me to know dat someone cares about the music issue in Islam.Since I started prayin I thought about givin up a lot of things and music is definetly on the top of my list.The fact is I dont know how to give up music cuz all ma life I've been listenin to it.It is true dat music plays a key role in a person's moods and sumtimes it could lead to sumthin dangerous.But can u consider haram a song dat prones generosity and peace or a song dat doesnt contain any harmful lyrics?Das the thing dat I dont understand and das wy it's hard to give it up cuz music of any kind isnt allowed except the Quran.If sum of u gave up music tell me how u did,ur experiences would be very interestin.Much luv to the bros and sis out there.
