If you are looking for evidence of what would be the most likely outcome on the eve of immediate Ethiopian withdrawal, then you should not be in the clan politics as a contributor but as an observer sxb. I do not say that to be disrespectful good Castro, but in genuine honesty.

I think the majority of poster here are cyber fakes. Stop drumming for a war and/or battles you are not likely to see! That is the same excuse they use in Iraq. Ohh if the Americans leave Iraqi will descend into chaos. As if it hasn't already descended into chaos. The people who want them stay are the people who won't feel safe if they leave. Well if the Americans do leave quite likely Iraq will be come more of a disaster then it already is. It is much more then likely we will probably see an ethnic cleansing of the Sunnis. Now at this point of time it is not relevant whether it is the U.S who started everything by invading, or even privately stoked tensions between the groups, but it is very apparent outcome that civil war will in Iraq and tremendous amount of innocent civilians will be caught in the crossfire. It is as if everyone around here has become dense cynics. War caqligiinu isticmaala alle caqli inawada siiyaye!

If we are going by stereotypes then Faraxow, based on your own contributions to this site, you strike me as a very secular sort of fella hardly a muqaawama, if we are to take a page out of Kashafa's book. 4. No I have not, but all those who use caqligoodu saliimka ahi will come to the same conclusion. Perhaps it is time some of us around here started using it? Note, however, I am not against anyone describing what is going on as an occupation following an invasion but the same instance the situation is much more complicated then we are just occupied and the occupation needs to end. What then after the end of the occupation?

Somehow you are better then Duke? Adeer ma qolo gaar ahi baa Xabashidu wadato? Who is Gheedi, Gacmadheere, Qeybdiid, Maxamed Dheere, etc?
  8. Duke- The thugs who did the bombings in Baardheere escaped never to come back again, but the one in Kismaayo happened to blow himself up. You do not remember? He was identified, funny you have not heard anything about it.
  9. Originally posted by The Duke: lol. So the bombing in Bardheere which killed a number of civilins was also by Afgaduud remenents in that town. Comedians. Anyhow Afgaduud remmenents and clans men are in Bulu Gaduud, so why not go after them or was Kudha a good example no more suprises lads. Duke- The bombing in Baardheere were done by thugs. As of now no one knows whom they were even though the governor of Baardheere recently said they were organized in Baydhabo and this a hit and run sort of thing to make Barre look unwelcome. As for Afgaduud, why the need to invade anywhere? It is they who want the city is it not?
  10. Anwar, all they have done is renovated Villa Baidoa, the prime minister's residence. I wonder where Gheedi will be staying now...
  11. Allamagan, including the individual who wanted to set a bomb for Gacmadheere's convoy but unfortunately managed to prematurely blow himself up.
  12. Juje, malaha xigmad baa kusoo korortay raga, allena garowsiiyey inay wada-hadal iyo nabad wax walba ku dhameeyaan?
  13. But Duke, tell the admin to come to the big city then, they really have no reason to fear. In fact, as even you describe it to be weakness, the group controlling Kismaayo have more then once offered peace and have invited the admin to come back. It is the admin that is resisting for whatever reason.
  14. Duke- Waan ka xumahay sxb inaad fikradaas iga haysatid. I defend one group if I feel someone is taking unfair jabs but sxb the last thing I want is armed conflict. It is not in anyone's interest and least of all the innocent people who will get caught in the crossfire.
  15. Duke, The deputy-governor of the region, the airport, seaport, police chief, and various members are the clan you allude to as juniour members of the JVA. Clearly you are a confused man. So the group you allude to as the majority was not "aware" of a "plot", is it? Well if that is the case, since they are the majority, have everything going for them as you described and are backed by a standing army fresh from Puntland, why are they continuing to sit in a village for two months now where everyday they announce a new timetable to invade Kismaayo? Clearly something is wrong with your information do you not think? Also, if Afgaduud was an innocent victim of a heinous plot, why did Abdullahi Yusuf add insult to injury by firing the poor man?
  16. Duke- Come out the box sxb and debate me, Cabdiqasim iyo heblaayo haka dabo wareerin. As for importance or what not, that is for me to analyze Duke. I have always assumed your understanding of Somali politics did not pass what was on the headlines of that day. p.s No insults intended adeer.
  17. Duke- According to the Sheikhs of the ICU movement, one group warranted all those titles because of their size and make-up in that area. Their judgment is mines. You keep mentioning the current administration as if some honest broker gave you legitimacy. Are you forgetting it is Abdullahi Yusuf who named it? The same man who exhausted Boosaaso's port and general Puntland tax money in capturing that city with the help of SRRC foot soldiers just couple years ago? In any case, if the locals are majority the group you say and Afgaduud and heavily armed force exported from Puntland were there and all the weaponry captured from the ICU in Jubbas given to Afgaduud to give his clan soldiers, why were they ousted? That bit is befuddling and I am sorry but JVA is not an excuse. Supposedly, in your opinion, that group is the majority and they were reinforced not only by brand new weaponry in the name of fighting terrorism but as well as a standing exported army led by one of two national military names that group has. How was it possible the group was expelled after a heavy firefight resulting in 38 deaths and what does this say about the true unbiased make-up of the area as even the ICU saw it?
  18. Duke- I am glad my comment about the pride in Ethiopian subjugation got you. It was meant to and not only for you but all others suffering from grandiose delusions. Also, what makes me smile here is the technicals will not fly out to help you from Mogadishu comment. Is that right Duke? If I can just ask, to whom will help be called against? p.s. Glad to see Garoweonline and Puntlandpost stopped the daily monotonous and redundant "A large force is going in Kismaayo right now".
  19. Duke- If it comes to force sxb, there will be a fight and one side will see victory. No problem, that is expected. However, I see no need to boast nor write statements I cannot back up. The confidence needs improving Duke.
  20. Duke- 45, 000 Ethiopian troops subjugated our capital city and bombarded our civilian people who have nothing to do with politics. Ethiopia tanks and heavy artillery as well as heavy gunships were used to bring the heart of Somalia, our capital city, to its knees. I disappeared during that time because of the shame and utter embarrassment I felt for whatever support I gave to Abdullahi Yusuf, however brief it may have been. It is unfortunate that today that there are people of your nature who can boast about such an incident and see it as their victory. That gives a whole new meaning to grandiose delusions. Waa nasiib daro sxb. It Kismaayo, however, is not Mogadishu sxb, you are right. In Kismaayo, the terrorism card does not work and there will be no Ethiopians to boast about capturing it for you.
  21. Duke, why should we ask you to describe what you have said when such thing as archives exist? It is very true. The rule of law will be upheld. don't be blaming the Ethiopians since you know they won't be involved. The TFG will bring peace and order back to Kismayo. I will bring this thread back later. PS: Afgaduud & Koojaar are at Kismayu;s gates and they have come inside the city and you could do nothing. Source Duke, clearly you are a confused man. Is that why you have not posted anything about Kismaayo for a while now?
  22. Duke, you might want to revisit your history. When the SNF captured Kismaayo, it was Hussein Aydiid and his sub-clan that controlled the Lower Shabelle. As for the usual rehashed Goobaale/Seeraar thing, well what can I say Duke? Nin daad qaaday xumbo cuskey bay Soomaali tiraah. The man commanding the men in control of Kismaayo today is the same wealthy businessman who paid many a money to Hiiraale's men to put their weapons down and join the ICU. The ICU was in effect a very confusing time and even I, Horn, was greatly confused and troubled by whom to support. Understand, however, that the majority of Hiiraale's men were spiritually with the ICU's spoken objectives, however unsatisfied they might have been with the political cards that were being played. Tell me Duke, why have you become more genuine about your feelings concerning Kismaayo ever since Afagduud and his cohorts were given the boot?
  23. Duke, malaha waad wareertay othe. I remember responding with war jiraaba caakarahuu iman after every boast of yours about an army of magnificent size coming from Mogadishu or that Afgaduud is in Kismaayo's entrance and will blaze through to the city. Where have your boasts gone adeer?
  24. Duke- Lower Shabelle has always been, since 1991, the playground of whomever was the strongest in south Mogadishu. If it was not Caydiid it was Caato, if not Caato it was Hussein Aydiid and afterwards the Guri-Ceel men. Kismaayo, however, was a wrong that was righted with the ousting of a blood-sucking warlord who was supported by any dollar that could have been collected from Gaalkacyo to Boosaaso.
  25. Duke, yesterday the TFG "troops" in Kismaayo broke along clan lines, what makes you so optimistic about this?
