Of course, having the same religion and having a centralized, national language advanced the case but so does Ethiopia have a centralized, national language and share the same faith (at least at the top) but a Tigre will never be known as an Amhara. It is the civil war and the past marginalization of groups who were pinpointed as being different, that makes some Somalis lose the inability to see our great diversity. There is strength in diversity and we should celebrate it not hide it under our beds.
