  1. You are only better than the war mongers who end their posts with DU'CAS asking ALLAH for peace. Walee I had a good laugh with this one Ayoub, Ameenah believe me I'm in no way going to go into an offensive because I'm not exempt from the Qabyaalad, but for this website to remain clean, we all have to do our best to not go overboard. Even in the most disciplined somali discussions, here and there you will see qabyaalad, but I believe that in the last month it has exploded in this forum. Thanx to you know who, speaking in Harry Potter terms. I very much agree Sardauker.
  2. Who's in charge of Puntland? Could it be Meles Zenawi?
  3. Maybe Cabdulahi Yusuf beer-laawe can tell you.

Let us be frank with one another, some nomads here are substituting qabiil names with Puntland and Somaliland- and we all know that when some use these names they mean nothing other than certain tribes. I personally feel that there needs to be greater control of this; personally, it infuriates me for I know it’s nothing more than tribalism in a disguised form. I agree, totaly. I find it rather interesting that Horn- feels that qabiil names should be edited when He makes comments such as; 'that state is a one qabiil entity' .. from that statement one assumes that whenever you refer to that region and it's people (which you do pretty much all the time) - your in actual fact refering to one of the qabiils Don't get me wrong- I have no problem with the views you hold about politics - laakiin daacadnimo is a virtue. Somali politics is qabiil based - so this is an ever lasting problem. I'd suggest that ya'll seek refuge from shaytaan before you post... Ameenah sis if you refer back to my post that started this thread, you will see that I didnt't not name specific detailed names that should be blamed or not, and more importantly I did not exclude myself from my post. I just gave a warning to the "government" of this website to do something about the Qabiil problem whether propagated by myself, Smith, Ayoub, or you. (Please don't mind my using your names Smith and Ayoub). However when one is accusing another, the accuser should be aware of what context he/she accuses in. 'that state is a one qabiil entity' Don't put that into context walaal, give me the thread and I'll tell you whom or to what I was referring to.
  5. Bari, their destination is not Las Caanod. Oh Pray, but where could they possibly be headed Ayoub?
  6. In the past month or so the politics section has itself been denigrated into a Qabiil fiefdom, being fought over by opposing kinsmen, in terms of our Qabiil society. It is notable to mention that this "Qabiil War" has been and is being perpetuated by members of the two respective Qabiil majorities of "Puntland" and "Somaliland". By the reading the terms of service of this forum, one can see that SOL is not tool for propaganda for warring qabiils. it is also notable to mention that the designated moderators and the Admins have done little and are doing little to stop this Qabiil trash talking. I think its time the Moderators and Admins try to restore back the respect nomads have had for SOL, and more importantly the Politics Section. WARNING   Failure to stop this Qabiil Battle will result in a Somalinet like reputation!

  8. no Puntland in Somali history, some historians would argue that the land of PUNT was compromised of modern Eritrea, Ethiopia and parts of Sudan Lander "Somaliland", "Puntland", what ever land are but branches of the great SOMALI TREE. Don't ever sell yourself short by denying your heritage, your history, and your past. Punt was called the aromatic land, the land of myrrh and frankincense, our so-called uunsi. Just that fact alone tells where it's real location was at. Besides I've heard Eritrea and Ethiopia included with Somalia, if Somalia was not by itself, but I've never seen a historian taking Somalia out of the picture and placing Sudan with it.
  9. Personal filer or not Oodweyne nac nacda iskadaa. When you are a real man and can stand by your word, make promises yaah? Truth be told you need a cold reality slap in the face. No one is going to extend recognition to a "tribal" land. You can make yourself believe your hallucinations, but do not turn people against the glorious dreams of a Greater Somalia by playing around with and using a qabiil oriented mentality to bring people into your grasp. Here you almost convinced poor Angel Dust that the north was actually going seperate! The last thing we need is the venom of division in our midst. Riyaale doesn't plan to go anywhere but south, to Muqdisho, and people like you are his stepping stone in an other wise muddy environment. Runta sheeg ama is hay. No more false promises to convince yourself more than us of the Truth be told you need a cold reality slap in the face. No one is going to extend recognition to impossible, kapiish?
  10. Oodweyne care to respond since you are back.

Dear bro, It seems you are still stuck in the days of Afweyne when certain people couldnt seperate "family" and "government" LOL We have seen how long Arta has lasted, we have seen what happened to all the other "governments" in Mogadishu, whats needed is a power sharing system that takes into account everybody Puntalnd, Somaliland, Mogadishu and where ever you said you was from was it Dhusa Mareb or Kismayu? Inadeer we both know very well any government beer-laawe sets would never be as qabiil diverse as the former government and thats speaking from fact. Just look at "Puntland" and you will see the real meaning of family members in government Smith. Only one laf of the sub-sub-clan of yours keeps beer-laawe in government so don't act the more ignorant. It's interesting how Kismayo rolled off your tongue isn't it? Why is it that when you're from Bari and Nugaal, all the way from waqooyi bari that you are also very quick to jump to Kismaayo at any given chance? Mucjiso. War yaa ileen balaayo arkay.
  12. ^^^^^Well I guess so dee walaal, only it's going to be interesting to see what Abdulahi Yusuf and "family members" do if he's not chosen president. Claim that the conference is not legit?
  13. I hate to burst anyone's bubble but Abdi seems to me like he's in control at that particular table.... Notice how he is at the head of the table Sorry to burst your bubble Smith, but maybe Abdulahi Yusuf is a big man up in Bari and Nugaal, but he is no more powerful then the other warlords in the conference. Sorry.
  14. My brother HornAfrique, a better question from a diehard Abdiqasim supporter like you should have been why Abdiqaasim the decent president of Somalia is sitting at a table with the most ruthless murderer known as Ina Yeey na'mean. It's called diplomacy walaal. If Abdulahi Yusuf had mastered that art, he wouldn't have the title "murderer", would he?
  15. Wallee adigiyo Soomalinimo kala dheeridin Mobb Deep walaal I tend to believe that that fact pertains to other people, if you know what i mean?
  16. It is intreasting how sool sanaag can be part of somalia but the agrument has no relevancy to other somalis Mushkilo indeed looooool Dusty Galgaduud? Since when was any place in SOmalia except Bay and Bakool a crop producing region? Sool, Sanag and Cayn,Bari , Nugaal and North Mudug Since when was Cayn an excepted name for the historical Hawd region? Another thing is my grandparents were born in and married in Galkacyo and my parents were born in and married in Galkacyo, and believe me we hold no allegiance to semi-quasi states. My question intent is since we are from Mudug, albeit not Puntland people, loooooool, would I be given a chance to have my say? Anew somalia based on clannism and another on colonial legacy Reading Smith's post leads one to believe that Liqaye. But the way has Smith seen this pic? Why is your dearly "elected" leader trying to get "evil" Abdiqasim into a conversation?
  17. Liqaye that letter has been posted before walaal, but I assure that it still doesn't take off thje feelings one gets for that letter or it's author.
  18. At least 21 fighters killed in Somalia clan clash MOGADISHU, Jan 13 (Reuters) - At least 21 Somali fighters were killed when a long-running dispute between rival clans over grazing rights degenerated into clashes in the central town of Ceelbur, residents said on Tuesday. Elders who traditionally defuse tensions between younger clansmen failed to stop the confrontation, which broke out on Monday and persisted on Tuesday in the town, some 175 km (109 miles) northeast of the capital Mogadishu. The confrontation set members of the Murusade clan against fighters from the Duduble clan, both branches of a bigger clan known as ****** . Sources among the Murusade fighters said they had lost 13 men while the Duduble said eight of their men had been killed. Clan sources said more than 26 combatants were wounded. Residents said the clash was rooted in a dispute that has been rumbling for weeks over access to nearby wells for cattle in the arid area. The violence erupted as various Somali faction leaders met in Kenya to try to revive a stalled peace process for the country, carved into a patchwork of rival territories since the central government was overthrown in 1991.
  19. That kind of international attention is what we're looking for.
  20. with a dagger in one hand and a “shaal” in another at the same time Sometimes the shaal doesn't make up for the dagger, sxb.

Originally posted by LANDER: hornafrique, non mon ami, I wouldn't be so narrow minded as to base my opinion simply on somali political affairs. my opinions where the same before the fallout of the arableague and Somaliland. I can suggest to you some former arab leaders that I admired in the past for example Gamal Abdel Nasir the former Egyptian president and maybe even former King Faysal. My critique isn't directed towards the arabs themselves but more towards the current regimes that run the arab countries, for example "La vache qui rit" (Hosni Mubarak) as well as King Fahd and the prince of Kuwait. Lander walaal those leaders are but the icing on the cake. Who laid the foundation of their dictators and supports them in keeping it? Hhm, I should think you would understand that in the overall picture it is America that is the problem. That is the foundation, and the head of the snake.
