Ooh is this why there's been some ice between Libaax and Jumatatu in other threads? because of this one.

Waryaa horta adi is qabooji. If he praised the Salmon, or whatever fish caano iyo malab kama heleesid. Besides just because Togane praised the your clan or not doesn't mean much. That's his own opinion. p.s. I don't think you'd be gloating if you read other works done by Togane.
-
No wonder you posted Togane of all people! Had nothinbut good to say about the Salmon huh?

In the mean time, you are Saladboy's boy, right? I was never a supporter of Abdiqasim Salaadboy. I was the supporter of the President of the Somali Republic! I supported Abdiqasim as I would support any other Somali president that came from Arta. As it was Abdiqasim that came out of the race as the winner, I was inclined to support him for the sake of peace and of Somalia. Kala baro ninyahow.
-
Abdiqasim, Riyalle, I don't care. Let anyone be tried if they have an indictment against them.
-
something no one ever told them. I would think they were told, but they never took it as dark .
-
Ayoub I am really dead serious. Whether you believe me or not, I am content to let anyone with credible evidence against them go to the witness stand. From my own qabiil, if thats what you mean, or not! Secondly we in the United States have a leagal golden rule, innocent untill proven guilty. Unfortunately Riyaale has a evidence against him, which makes hime fit to be tried. If someone finds evidence to serve an indictment against Abdiqasim Saladboy, then he will also go to court. Whether it is someone from the "Somaliland" House of Elders, "Puntland"s Police chief, Abdiqasim in the TNG, or a low-key figure in Cabudwaq, justice will be served.
-
The sky is the limit Ayoub.

i just love his name Morgan no Gen--Morgan Forget about what the other Somalis think of him, his own sub-sub-sub-subclan even bypassed him as their mp in the two seats awarded to them. The truth of the matter is that Morgan is Abdulahi Yusuf's diversion from the real political problems in "Puntland".

U.S. must develop a Somalia strategy RUSS FEINGOLD D-Wis., is ranking member of the Senate's Africa Subcommittee. Last month, the Bush administration missed its congressional deadline to produce a report on U.S. policy in Somalia. This failure is disappointing, baffling — and dangerous. I applaud the administration's East African Counter-Terrorism Initiative, which recognizes that there are real threats in Somalia. We know that al-Qaida has used Somalia as a safe haven and training ground. We know that some of the more troubling actors on the international scene are sometimes the only ones involved in providing basic services to people in parts of Somalia — such that parents there can send children to an extremist school or to no school at all. But the East African Counter-Terrorism Initiative only focuses on the states around Somalia, not on Somalia itself. Shouldn't the United States get in the game, work toward order and stability, and compete for these hearts and minds? Shouldn't we have a policy toward Somalia? I raised this issue at a hearing I chaired in early 2002, and confirmed my fear that we have no real strategy. I have asked about it since at hearings and in meetings. There have been no real answers. For two years in a row, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee has approved legislation containing a provision that I authored calling for a Somalia strategy, but no such strategy has been shared with us. I worked with congressional appropriators to ensure that they called for a report — due July 23 — on our strategy in Somalia when they passed last year's foreign operations appropriations bill. My concern is not simply about the administration missing the deadline. It is about the fact that the United States has been failing to address this issue for years, even after the horrifying wake-up call of Sept. 11. This is all the more disappointing as the failure to produce a viable strategy for U.S. policy in Somalia comes just as the 9/11 Commission's report has underscored the importance of doing just that. The 9/11 Commission report documents al-Qaida's history in Somalia and goes on to explicitly identify Somalia as one of a handful of places where experts believe terrorists are most likely to find sanctuary and base their operations. The commission's recommendation is clear: "The U.S. govt. must identify and prioritize actual or potential terrorist sanctuaries. For each, it should have a realistic strategy to keep possible terrorists insecure and on the run, using all elements of national power." Somalia is perhaps the world's most apt example of a failed state. Our strategy toward Somalia cannot be limited to batting down immediate threats — it should also be about preventing more threats from emerging by helping to bring lasting stability to this highly unstable place. That entails building solid relationships, gaining access to solid information and giving Somali parents and youth a reason to feel some hope for their future. We should develop policies today with the aim of ensuring that our children will not face threats from the Horn of Africa in the years to come. We must, as the 9/11 Commission advised, prevent the continued growth of terrorism. I am told that perhaps a Somalia report will be produced and delivered to Congress over the next few months. I hope so. We cannot continue to bury our heads in the sand; we cannot continue to operate without any real foreign policy when it comes to this strategically located country that is home to millions of Muslims coping with insecurity and deprivation every day. It is not easy to develop a strategy for engaging Somalis and working to create a future in which Somalia is not a source of chaos or an attractive haven for terrorists. It is not easy, but it is necessary.

If you feel like getting something off your chest or got the urge to turn 'supergrass', please be my guest and do it in SOL. Bank on Riyaale being summoned to court most indefinitely.

Don't be onesided, give an unbiased view. oookay. No one's convinced, stop wasting your time.

With all due respect, Snow stop acting like a white, redneck hillbilly and tell the truth. You are of some other Afican ethnicity, disgruntled by some reason against Somalis. Your little charade has had its fun now, so if I were to be frank I would advise you to go somewhere your more...wanted. And speaking of the topic at hand, I just want to ask one question. Do you really believe anybody we'll care about what happened to Somalia more then a decade ago, when no one can move an eye lid against the atrocities and crimes against humanity being commited in Iraq as of the moment? We need to stop worrying about that and concentrate more about how to once and for all get over warlord raping of our nation.
-
Its contradictory I tell you. Isn't the reason IGAD delays repetively, because of demands of warlords? Those same organizations are the same ones that are appeasing the warlords and are legitimizing their exploitation of Somalia and the Somali people. Let me tell you something. This a faux pas as the future of Somalia seemingly does depend on the warlords forming a coalition government. I am 100% in agreement with a tribunal, and would hopefully like to participate in one in the future. I want to see these warmongerers faces, as I drill them endlessly and condemn them to whatever punishment their crime seems fit. Yet, as of the moment, i do not think it is possible. Unless the whole of the Somali nation were to rise at once in a revolution by the people for the people, we the Somali people are held susceptible to their demands and appeasement. Inshallah that time will come, but it, unfortunately, is not today.

Saxardiid gacan ayaan kuu taagay! I want to repeat again those points stressed out by Saxardiid. Traitor : Sxb you haven’t mentioned any of his crimes. First of all he is traitor no1 selling all secret of the Somali government to the enemy. He also conspired with others to destroy the Somali republic. Coward : taking part the failed coup while others faced full force of the government he hided the border later to escape to the enemy. Murderer : He killed thousands of Somalis in tribal motivated attacks to innocent Somali people who are minding their affairs. One of unforgivable acts of treason his army and him had commited were to lead the enemy to Balanbale –district settled by siyad barre’s tribe and Goldogob – other district that is populated by tribe that has long and difficult war with A/Y’s sub-sub clan. The enemy with the help of your hero killed and maimed somalis for long period of time until Somali army kick them out. Do you think their lives count nothing? Dictator : Eliminating lots of his opponents in SSDF thus forcing the remaining kulmis members to surrender to the government. Murderer : What about lots of people he killed during his so called war with wadaado in early 1990’s, eliminating anyone he sees as challenge to his leadership. Terrorist : He hired militia from Somali region in Ethiopia and used as terror army in Puntland, especially during the months he spent hiding in Mudug. Dictator : Over throwing elected legitimate regional government.

August 17th commemoration of Sultan Hurre’s death On Tuesday August 17th, we ask all people of good conscience to commemorate for the 2nd anniversary of Sultan Hurre’s tragic assassination. May Allah’s peace and mercy be upon the Sultan. The man whose name is a synonym for evil—the wicked Colonel (Col. Abdullahi) viciously murdered the Sultan at Kalabayr on August 17th , 2002. The brutal death of Sultan Hurre was a heartbreaking loss to his family, his friends, the Somali civil society, and particularly anyone who might have known him believes that no human being could be capable of harming or would wish him ill-will toward such a noble and gentle soul unless the assassin is the most cold-blooded murderer, heartless, insensitive barbarian, and beset by an evil sword spirit. The tragic assassination of Sultan Hurre has shocked all the progressive & peace-loving individuals and they are still in a state of mourning. This heinous crime was criminal act against Somali civil society and traditional leaders. It was humanly impossible to conceive murdering such an excellent human being who possessed of all conceivable good qualities in terms of moral goodness and character. Sultan Hurre struck anybody as a very charming, warm and likeable person. Human life is very precious so it should be treated with dignity and respect. Allah the Almighty has honored human beings and strictly prohibited us to kill human beings or to inflict cruel pain and other inhuman punishment. However, a thug who is obsessed with power neither respects the value of human lives nor gives a damn what Allah prohibited us. The problem of greed and lust for power drove him to total lunatic. Philosophically, he believes that the killings will automatically secure his seat, or whenever he kills someone that he will be one step closer to the president’s seat. The wicked Colonel is pleased with his vile actions and he takes great pride in his savageness. He has made it clear on many occasions that he considers himself 'strongman'. But it’s a fair question to ask, what does ‘strongman’ mean to him? It’s probably fair to say that ‘strongman’ means to him a total reversal of what we can think of. He is merely praising or proud of his practices of sadistic killings, corruption & scams, nepotism, suspending Puntland‘s constitution, locking the house of state legislatures, hogging the economy of the state, holding Puntland as hostage, and so forth. It is indeed pathetic act of an evil mind and that means he is operating on the rule of the jungle which makes sense only to him and his deadhead supporters. Quite the opposite, the virtue of strong leader entails being a good leader who abides the rule of law, the leader who serves his people with honest, integrity, compassion, and the leader who seeks the best for those he serves--who improves the life of his fellow citizens and leads his country toward peace and prosperity. Paradoxically, Col. Abdullahi, who is a ruthless thug and best known for his beastliness, is running for president (The occupant of the most prestigious office in the nation should have the best quality in every aspect of the life). Instead, he was supposed to be in a maximum security penitentiary like any other criminal for his atrocious crimes that he committed against humanity. One of the most appalling and shocking things about the Colonel’s supporters (cult-like followers)! They unleash a diatribe on the slain Sultan even though he is in the grave for almost two years now. According to Islamic Law (Sharia), it’s not permissible to badmouth someone who has died. Nevertheless, it’s certain that Colonel’s cult-like followers have lost the ethical principles and the norms of conducts in terms of morality, religion and rationality. They can’t draw hard distinctions between right and wrong. His blind followers like any other cult-like mentality the Colonel is their spiritual father and only one thing is tuned into their mind which is the Colonel is a hero, prophet, and the best of the best regardless of what he does or what he did in the past. Another stunning thing about the vulgar tendency of these blind followers or deadheads is that every time certain notable individuals talk about the problem of Somalia or propose a viable solution to Somalia’s complex problems, members of this cult group lose last bit of their sanity as their nervous systems have been tweaked, or severely damaged. For instance, the recent open letter from the former Prime Minister of Somalia Abdirizak Haji Hussein sparked a lot of anger and adverse criticism from the members of this cult group. The letter from the former Prime Minister was personal opinion of what could be a feasible solution to Somalia’s problem [The letter stated: (1) Since a strong rival exists between ****** and ******* and they have done a whole lot of trouble in Somalia, they should be barred from the power in the coming five years' time. (2) The faulty constitution which is clan based formula will do great ham than any sense of resolve]. Even though there was no hard feelings toward any particular person or group in that letter, members of this cult group reacted angrily and insulted the distinguished gentleman (Abdirizak) by sullying his name. Instead of suggesting an alternative idea or disagreeing with him in a civilized manner, they attacked him personally and unleashed a scathing denunciation. Anyway, no dispute that Abdirizak is a man of incredible intellect and integrity, well known, and highly respected in Somalia and different parts of the world. He is an icon of the struggle for Somalia’s independence (SYL)--his heroic deeds. He is admired by many intellectuals and pragmatic politicians for his fight against corruption in his administration, for his clean record and eloquence, and for his stance on Somalia’s civil war, thus nobody'll be able to mess around with his nice, solid reputation. Nonetheless, the theme of my writing serves to memorialize Sultan Hurre and to support his ideals and principles. It’s important that we honor the memory and moral courage of Sultan Hurre as an example of what we must do today. As you all know, the cause of his death was, he gallantly opposed and said, “No to The Colonel’s Automatic Three-Year Term Extension--immoral and unconstitutional law, and totalitarian tyranny,†reflecting on Sultan Hurre’s lofty ideals we must loudly speak out against the short-sighted, immoral, criminal warlords, and other despicable profiteers from human misery who ruined and dissected our nation into fiefdoms where almost million of people have lost their lives and millions of others are in serious plight. Also we must loudly speak out against IGAD’s policy and efforts to install Adisababa’s favorite warlord (Anti-Islamic, the most notorious killer of all time, and the most malicious and ignorant person among us) in power. In addition, we can speak out and become active in standing up for peace, justice, and national unity. On the will of Allah, we will be able to change the things by speaking out and standing up for our humanity and dignity. We are called to speak for the weak, for the voiceless of our people, and for the victims of those vicious warlords. So please wherever you are on August 17th, remember Sultan Hurre and talk about the importance of his ideals, action and philosophy of today. Please be sure to break the silence. Otherwise as Dr. Martin L. King reminded us being silent, “A time comes when silence is betrayal,†Once again, on behalf of all progressive & peace loving individuals, and Somali civil society, we strongly condemn Sultan Hurre’s tragic assassination. We unequivocally denounce the perpetrator of this repugnant act who planned, ordered, and conducted the order and its execution. We demand justice and we won’t rest until the justice is served. At this point in time, we are sure that the wicked Colonel will get his day in court, and I personally will be happy to make the trip to the Court of Queen's Bench to see him sitting in the defendant's cage. We have a high regard for the cause of the Sultan’s death, his moral courage and exemplary behavior. His pleasing persona and his ever smiling face will always be remembered. Sultan Hurre will forever live in our memory and hearts. May Allah’s compassion and peace be upon him. M.Ali

Out of all the 50 + candidates sources in Nairobi state that there are three front runners, Abdullahi Adow, Abdiqasin and Abdullahi Yusuf. Listen, why are you limiting the choices to those three? It seems as though Abdulahi Yusuf supporters are famous for dramatically limiting the choices to a few, so they can somehow justify their support for him. When you and others say, he is a "strong" leader or he knows how to keep "security", we know it really means he is a dictator or he is good at killing people. On another note... I would go for Abdullahi Yusuf because the other two where Afweyne's men ...Simply because people served in Siad Barre's (ilaahay ha u naxariisto) government does not mean they are villans or those who didn't serve are heroes. Siad Barre in all honesty was a dictator and a dictator seeks no approval of any of his decisions from his symbolic ministers. Just tell the truth next time, and tell the people the real reason you are voting for Abdulahi Yusuf is because of QABIIL. A person who cannot even come to mutual agreement with his own sub-clan will want to lead a Nation Jumatatu the ludicrisy of it is hilarious.
-
But who might that young, visionary person be you're looking for of the presidential candidates? Any number of people who are atleast half of Abdulahi Yusuf's junior ...and on another note. lool @ may musa suudi die while eating caambuulo hehe If I didn't know any better, I would say that above comment has a qabiil cannotation to it. Yet, we were in a rush to get the Clan card earlier weren't we? Justice is not one-sided bro.
-
he is a mass murderes, a criminal because it seems thats what you want to belive. Or contrary to that, is what you want us to believe. Besides, no pun intended, but Abdulahi Yusuf is an old fart. Isn't the man supposed to be retired by now, in his home, telling stories to his grandchildren? What has kept him as murderous, senile, and as vicious through out the looong years is an insatiable greed and hunger for power and a knack for seeing even more blood shed to the ground. This is the 21st centure, in which Somalia and Somalis should be looking to the future, of modernizing and developing our country. How is an aging old man going to lead us anywhere when has an ancient, antiquited, colonial mindset? We need younger leaders who are visionaries, not senile aged men who have nothing new to bring to the the picture. Leaders who know and understand the world we live in, not the world we lived in.
-
In an ideal world we would have a Saint as President and an Angel as prime minister Yeah, well lets get to that as close as possible. do you rebute that Abdullahi is a decorated war hero, who fought bravely against Ethiopia in both 1964 and 1978? Are we talking about the same Abdulahi Yusuf that ran traitor to the Ethiopians and kow towed to the Amhara? This must be the daddy told me, mommy told me kind of story. And please stop using the Clan card as it isn't going to get Beer-laawe any more pity votes. The fact of the matter is, I am from his Clan and I would bet Nugaali is from his sub-clan, yet the only ones supporting him would be his jilib, his sub-sub-subclan. How many names do you go back before you meet up with Abdulahi Yusuf? Aah never mind, I could figure out. With all this yapping, you would think they should go to IGAD headquarters and to the Nairobi Conference to "furthur and add to the cause". I would also think Abdulahi Yusuf would need any votes he can salvage, as his chance of getting the presidency is diminishing at a greater rate, or an alarming one in your case.. ...and please do not try to convince me of Beer-laawe's innocense, because with more of your mediocraty, you would actually have me belive Abdulahi Yusuf is as innocent as a 9 year old girl in pigtails playing hopscotch.
-
his opposition in Puntland cares far too much for the interests of peace and prosperity than for political hunger And that's why we applaud them. For keeping the peace of the region and helping the people to prosper where in a viable time, the shacbi can get rid of A. Yusuf in a peaceful manner. For those of you who wish to shove the maniac down our throat, why should we, the Somali nation, elect a would-be dictator who only acts on the interest of his own jilib even against those who we assume as his closest kin and of his sub-sub-clan? The man, forgoodnesssake, divides his "own" territory in to his sub-sub-sub-subclan in one corner and is sub-subclan and "others" into one corner. I will leave it up to you nomads to figure out which corner is the "fortunate" corner.

However, on Saturday, the head of the Iranian judo federation insisted that Miresmaeili would go ahead with the opening round fight. "Miresmaeili will be on the mat in good time to fight against the sportsman from Israel," said Iranian judo chief Mohammad Derakhshan Mobarak. It is quite interesting, but if Aresh didn't fight, then why is the Iranian judo federation insisting "that Miresmaeili would go ahead with the opening round fight?"
-
or the pretty madame candidate from Sanaag I like pick that pretty madame candidate from Sanaag anytime and day over A. Yusuf, Muuse Suudi, or their ilk.
-
and now he'll be most likely the president of the Democratic Republic of Somalia I beg to differ, but we all have our opinions.
