Ing Maxamad Xuseen Caddow : The credible candidate from Mogadishu, my no 2
Gabbal replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
he's the only person strong enough to lead Somalia At this point in time what we need is not another dictator, but an able statesman. Once you lay down the machinations for a "strongman" rule in Somalia, I'm 100% certain we will just come back to where we are now. As for Smith, whether you admit it or not, the most credible candidate coming from reer Xamar (if you want to call it that) is Abdulahi Addow. And he is the one with the best chance too. Addow said: "If I win and Abdulahi Yusuf becomes prime minister and vice versa, either way, the Reer Galkayo will rule Somalia again!" I'm positive he didn't utter such nonsense. Plz don't libel anyone with such nonsense. -
Two thirds of the house members are illeterate and sign on with their thumb print.. The trouble we have to go through to see peace.

Good luck to him.

Perhaps I should forgive him, as he seems upset at the truth of his hero, this warcriminal and gacan ku dhiigleh, Barre Adan 'Hiraale'. War alla yaa ilahay yaqaan? I said if Barre Hiiraale is responsible for those atrocious acts, then he doesn't deserve amnesty. But how do you know he commited them? What hardcore proof is there that lies the blame on his feet? I mean we listened to the BBC when Yusuf Garad interviewed a Sultan/MP of reer Afmadow/Dhoobley and when asked who was esponsible....he sure as heck didn't blame Barre Hiiraale  So do tell me Bari_Nomad are your words more believeable then the very representative of those innocent folks? Do tell us if you were there and had eyewitness testimony or you're simply psychic and figured that out after Morgan magically reappeared in Nairobii. We know this for a fact: 1. You won't admit that Morgan endangered the people of Dhoobley. 2. You won't admit that it was because of Morgan that those heinous acts even occured in Doobley. 3. You will not condemn Morgan for instigating war in the middle of peace building. 4. Your feelings for those people are superficial and are seeking an oppurtunity to politicize events that should not be political. The fact of the matter is you say you didn't support Morgan, yet 75% of his militia was composed of your cousins and uncles and a good majority of the backing was done by your cousins and uncles. Yet you didn't support them? What was in the water that you drank that wasn't in the water they're drinking in that same village of Widhwidh that's part of your signiture? These are my point so people know where I stand. 1. I supported the defense against Morgan and if it were to happen again, I would continue to support it. 2. I believe that whatever crimes Barre Hiiraale has to his name, he should pay just like I would want Morgan and Beer-laawe to pay. 3. I believe that what transpired in Dhoobley was heinous and, with credible evidence, anyone shown to have been/part of the cause should pay. 4. I believe Kismayo, just like Muqdisho and maybe even Hargeisa, is an international city and should not have a clan monoply on it whatsoever. That is where I stand. As for my dear bro Bari_Nomad go and keep wailing after Morgan. We all know the reason you are being so pretentious. Morgan has long been kicked out for even thinking of disturbing the peace in Somalia and the Jubba Regions.

read somewhere that you're from gaalkacayo, well am from laascaanood, barasho wanaagsan walaal! An interesting way to get your clan affialiation across. The "where I'm from" stands for "what I am".

blame lies at the feet of all, including and probably most prominently Morgan. So please save us this BS about how supposedly evil this Yusuf guy is. Like I said, even if Yusuf Indha cade and Barre Hiraale are guilty, they still does not reach the rank of Morgan. Where is the hypocrite Bari-Nomad, I dare say not crying over Morgan again? What sickens me the most was how this nomad and certain others were using the tragedy there for political gain. Bari_Nomad if you are not being hypocritical, condemn Morgan for hiding there knowing full well that he was in the middle of war and by invading Dhoobley he would be bringing tragedy and destruction on to its inhabitants! HornA huuno be firm and alert in your position, so far you are being weighted. Xarago cease your constant warmongering blabber. If you have a personal beef with reer "Puntland", that is your problem, do not try to include me again in your sordid little "affair" with Smith. I am tired of all these sick people. If any of you were personally involved in what happened there, you wouldn't so gleeful and trigger happy. I've been in war and I've seen war and destruction, and if you some of you have forgotten it, I haven't it. Whether I might be personally involved in what happened in Dhoobley or not, I would never wish to have that kind destruction placed on anyone! For once shut up and atleast pray for those people!

Where in this world did this analization of Hornafrique come from? Sensitive, or emotional or junutional. I'll tell you now Xarago and JB that I would rather be 10 times emotional then be unsensitive when it comes to the suffering caused to innocents. First of all NOTHING I HAVE WRITTEN CONCERNS BARI-NOMAD, and as such I have nothing, absaloutely nothing to say to the hypocrite. Are you sure you are not praying for Morgan to "rise" again? And I thank brother Xoogsade for giving some reflection, because even now when I look back, I never wanted to imagine violence agaisnt inoocents. Secondly I, with all my heart, condemn what happened to Dhoobley and I don't think there is ANY excuse for it too. I believe that Morgan did start this whole tragedy and I do believe self-defense was needed, but that does not excuse what happened in Dhoobley and I do believe ALL parties involved should brought to justice, contrary to the opinions of our SOL hypocrits. As I've said in another topic. Bari_Nomad in all honesty whatever crimes Barre Hiirale has to his name, I would be more then happy to let him be tried in court. Justice is not one-sided.
-
Xoogsade walahi waa kula raacsanahay. Morgan did attack, but the people who were the cause of that destruction I've just seen, whether they come from Morgan's beel or Hiiraale's beel or any other beel, should be brought to justice. I've heard about the Dhoobley "scandal", but I could never have imagined the destruction done to the residents of Dhoobley was at that scale The human heart is very mysterious. Here I was worrying about what death I would hear about concerning my family, yet never imagining the death on the other side. Ilaahayow ina cafi.

^^^LOL I bet you do How long ago was this "piece" down? Surely you know there needs to be some adjustments.
-
So let me get you straight Dragon. Your stance is that the Somali Republic should continue being stateless?

What is the feeling in the states, is it game over for Kerry? What about the issue of the key states, who is a head in them? I guess we should bring those media to America. SmithnWestern the general feeling here in the US is game is starting for Kerry. I'm not saying that because I pray Kerry will beat Bush, but it is true. At first Kerry was very withdrawn and wasn't getting his message across, but during the night of the Republican Convention, he made a press speech right after the convention ended and people started to understand why he was called "The Sleeping Giant" during the Democratic primary elections. All these pollings and such don't matter. One poll comes out today saying Bush is ahead by several points, another comes out tomorrow saying Kerry is ahead by several points. It's quite ludicris, I mean where do they do their "polling" and how do they gather their "statistic". Don't put too much weight on pollings. I understand Kerry is not Howard Dean, but if we're choosing by the case of "who's the lesser evil", then may Bush loose by a large margin, of which he will lose by. And he won't be stealing any more votes, because they say "fool me once, shame on you..fool me twice, shame on me". Americans are prepared now not to be the fools.

Somalia in general as a country and ppl have achieved more in the last 14 years without central gov't than the prior 30 years of gov't. Are you sure? There are alot of reasons I can refute that statement, chiefly among them being that now Somalia is so under-developed that it is not even included in the UN Developement Index. Walaal a two-story building going up there or a single streetlight in one village in Somalia hardly compares to the rate of developement the rest of the world is experiencing. We are deceiving ourselves if we think so. Second, I believe anything is better then being without a government. I can go on and on and on about my reasons, but I just want to say that there is nothing more that I want then for international airports to start accepting Somali passports instead of rejecting them on basis that there is no functioning state.

Originally posted by Jumatatu: You are right, but the question is are the American people moderate? NO. If we're speaking about social issues, yes the majority of Americans are conservative, but when it comes to foreign affairs and America's relationship with the outside world, plainly speaking Americans would rather be flattered over in the world then hated and insulted. So they are very moderate in their view of the outside world. It's just that the Bush Administration has used the September 11 attacks to confuse and blackmail the general public into agreeing with their very right-wing and extremist actions toward war and instability everywhere. And so since that debate last night was dedicated to homeland security and foreign relations, Americans would come out as having a more favorable view of Kerry, rather then Bush.

All I have to say is Bush was a complete ***** and it was more then fun to watch him squirm. I think the American people now have an idea of who a moderate is of the two.

I want my country to be normal, I want the kids going to school, I want to walk in Mogadishu with no run down buildings. I want to see that blue flag flying high in the sky. I want my people to move on and forget the past......So if it takes this not so perfect Parliment, to get me one of the above then I am all for it. Hear, hear. You summed it more then enough Smith.

leaders of the Somali factions fear me so much because I worked in Nairobi as Somaliland's Representative for some time and I have many friends in the Kenyan and East African diplomatic communities." Walahi this seems like a childish kids game to me. Is that what a politician says? The so-called finance minister of a "independent" state?

This is my newest avator and I though the smallness it is shown as doesn't do it justice.
