  1. So let me this straight, hope is all you have going for you? Hope that you draw temporary self-contentment from and that gives you something to devote your time to right? Sooner or later I am confident you will face reality and by then I hope the depression and meloncholy is not too great. Oh well, I shant be brooding and party pooping realist here. Nabad galyo.
  2. Collective Statement Of Somaliland's National Politital Parties Submitted To Ambassador Mr. Fracois L. Fall, Special Representative Of The Secretary General Of The United Nations(UN) I'm honestly wondering whether this will go to the shredder or maybe not even that sensitive enough and will just make it to the recycle bin. Tolstoy for a man that is so level headed when discussing the DKFMG and the international positions concerning it, you sure do become a "shameless cheerleader and mouthpeice" when it comes to secessionist region. Without resorting to personal attacks and changing the topic, just please explain to me why you bring a whole new meaning to "A Hope In The Unseen" even to the point of loosing touch with reality when concerning the secessionist region?
  3. in ay taageeraan howlaha maamul u sameynta ee ay magaalada Muqdisho ka wadaan Wasiirrada Ganacsiga iyo Amniga ee kala ah Muuse Suudi Yalaxow iyo Maxamed Qanyare Afrax Medieval tribal politics at its best! Yesterday it was those same men holding his premature government hostage and hauled up and today he is working to boost their support base! Somali politics is primitive, simple, and shallow at best shall I say. I don't know him personally, I just know who he is, and he is definealtly from puntland. And you based your whole analysis on knowing who he is, but not knowing him personally? Eelai iska seexo sxb, iska seexo.
  4. which would explain why they would feel the earth moving from right under them ..! The Somali plate is actually moving and will probably lead our part of the horn to break-away from the continent, but that should be about over a million years or so. It is moving at a rate so undetectable it is nearly impossible to "feel" the earth moving from under you. But hey who knows if this world has a million more years anyway?
  5. Lastly, but not least, I think am done with you in here anyway; for it seems to me that yours is just basically to argue for arguments sake Oh my, oh my! Though looking at it from a different reflection, has someone finally seen the mirror? In the future, I would hope you realize the lack of substance in your arguments. They are finely and cleverly crafted, but unmitigated and only sellable to novices of Somali affairs. I know what is going on in Somalia, including the northwest. And as I am thoroughly aware of the situations in all parts of the horn, I would encourage you in the future to try to sell the idea of your-fantasy-based-on-denial to ignorant young ones. It is pointless and time consuming to keep engaging you in your fictional world so I add an stipulation. Visit the Horn in general and "Somaliland" in particular and then tell me whether the object of your fantasy actually looks and feels like New York, New York (most likely as your subconcious mind assumes so). While you are it, maybe even take a visit to those fabled cities of Gedo and see how backward, anarchic, disorganized, and volatile the environment there is as opposed to any and all parts of Somalia. Ta Ta.

  8. As for the last editing touch you gave your post; sxb do not personalise the issue. I swear on almighty Allah had Barre Hiiraale been an obstacle to the forming the Somali government, I would want anything and everything done to make him powerless and uninflutential. Close to port, the airstrip, etc; anything done to make sure his feels the burnt in his pockets and coffers. Are you of the same mind
  9. Yet, the Mogadishu port which fifty times more important then Dayniile air-strip has been closed since the departure of Siyaad Barre. Yet that is a non-issue because the people who closed it down are "of the city", right? Even though those people are 110% more harmful and oppressive to the city, its inhabitants, and its livelihood then Abdulahi Yusuf can ever be. I do not particularly like Abdulahi Yusuf, but it is chiefly the warlords who elected him right? When Barre Hiiraale went to Mogadishu to invite both parts of the government to peace talks in Kismaayo did not every single government member and the shacbi support him save the three hoodlums of Caato, Qanyare, and Muuse Suudi  I honestly believe the Somali nation is greater then three men and the "accepted" oppression they hold in the capital city. I support any effort to sideline them and make this the last transitional government to ever dis-grace Somalia's history. Are you of the same opinion? Please, no more excuses.
  10. Dowlad awalba looga cabsi qabay dhibaato hor leh iney la timaaddo iyo xorriyad darri Ilaa iyo markaad noomaad noqotay hadaad runta sheegtay.
  11. And the only hateful act comes from A/Y who somehow thinks he has the authority to do anything he pleases. But then he will learn like every warmonger who thought he was untouchable has learned in the past, that you don't mess around with people's livelihood and enjoy the peace. So Qanyare, Caato, and Muuse Suudi are angels?
  12. ^^So Qanyare and Muuse Suudi are rightful men. Ninyahow Cabdulaahi Yusuf kaama jecli, laakiin cadaalad xumada dhankiina ka socotana waa wax qiil siiso qorshaha Cabudlahi Yusuf.
  13. Tolstoy, it is sad I cannot give you a good clip. It seems as though all that would make you loose hold of your fantasy world happens to find a remedy in a blunt clip. Clips dad kalaa loo dayay whose hypothesis has been experimented on you and passed to become a theory. Fadhi-ku-dirir, but in a different language. Fadhi-ku-dirir, but with higher vocabulary. Fadhi-ku-dirir, but with a hint of beginning political science terminologies. Tolstoy, you have once in your life, allegedly, held a post as a professor of a higher institution (we can only speculate what brought about the pink slip), yet today you are reduced to being impressionable and a primary example of what is labeled as the "anti-realist". Honestly, get real and get out for once, because we are ashamed for you. I do not understand how much more brutal honesty you can take. As for Gedo (since you seem to believe you are scoring a point or two by bringing in that name every two seconds) where shall we start? Yes, Gedo has once descended into the abyss of anarchy and unparalled tribal hostility. Yet, was that even close to what took place in "Somaliland" in 94-95? Did destruction in Gedo even reach 1/3 of what was the case between reer Bari and reer Galbeed folks of Waqooyi Galbeed? "Somaliland" personified, even much more then Muqdisho in its most lawless heyday, the Hobbesian theory and nothing you say can deny it.Gedo at that time, my freind, was labeled as the most peaceful and livable region of Somalia. I am not saying that Gedo did not descend into and for a time was not an examplery example of anarchy, led there by intricacies you probably do not understand and will not understand, but, you know better then I, that the present has relegated those times to the "was". As Somaliland meet in peace under the great tree , so did Gedo under the great hall. With a peace reconciliation more sophisticated, stylized, organized, and throughly prepared then anything that could have been shambled together in "Somaliland". If you want a traditional democratice problem solving way to alleviate "Somaliland" of the dictatoral rule of former Siyaad lackey Riyaale Kaahin, I will be more then happy to recommend you to Gedo's Guddiga Marjica that is effectively in control of the state. Cay kama wadi, ujeedadaydana maahan, laakiin dacaadnimaan ka hadlayaa. I do not have time to continue engaging you in your fictional world, but I want to leave with a last note. The news coming out is that, due to the peace and prosperity invading Gedo, the value of the land has risen 70% percent and development of both infrastructure and business sectors are skyrocketing. That means any land and business opportunities you want to engage in Gedo is now, effectively, 70% more expensive.

  17. Horn,I was wondering why you seem to smile & BE Looking @ folks at an angle of 45Degrees,even when they make you angry. I find it rather annoys my nemesises. 18. Since these kinds of discussions are replete with opinions and historical revisions, I find it rather endearing to rely on outside sources. Somalia Coup d'Etat The stage was set for a coup d'état, but the event that precipitated the coup was unplanned. On October 15, 1969, a bodyguard killed president Shermaarke while prime minister Igaal was out of the country. (The assassin, a member of a lineage said to have been badly treated by the president, was subsequently tried and executed by the revolutionary government.) Igaal returned to Mogadishu to arrange for the selection of a new president by the National Assembly. His choice was, like Shermaarke, a member of the ******* clan-family (Igaal was an ***** ). Government critics, particularly a group of army officers, saw no hope for improving the country's situation by this means. On October 21, 1969, when it became apparent that the assembly would support Igaal's choice, army units took over strategic points in Mogadishu and rounded up government officials and other prominent political figures. The police cooperated with the army. Although not regarded as the author of the military takeover, army commander Major General Mahammad Siad Barre assumed leadership of the officers who deposed the civilian government. The new governing body, the Supreme Revolutionary Council (SRC), installed Siad Barre as its president. The SRC arrested and detained at the presidential palace leading members of the democratic regime, including Igaal. The SRC banned political parties, abolished the National Assembly, and suspended the constitution. The new regime's goals included an end to "tribalism, nepotism, corruption, and misrule." Existing treaties were to be honored, but national liberation movements and Somali unification were to be supported. The country was renamed the Somali Democratic Republic. 21. Have you ever been involved in a brawl ? Two in my freshman year of high school and atleast one in the subsequent years. The brawl in my freshman year of high school took place in the student parking lot after the tensions simmering between the Footballers (squad members) and us Somalis set of a chain reaction! I still remember it clearly walahi, Somalis against the footballers and their friends. Jumping over cars, tripping in the wet pavement, fists flying everywhere until the local police broke it up because the school security guards were too afraid. It all started because one of the Footballers (we called them that) feel in "like" with a Somali girl and she never even looked at him for a second until he started disrespecting her to get her attention. That led to bruises, injuries (some permanent), expulsions, propertu damage, getting respect (us Somalis), school wide race relation workshops, whole lotta headaches, and a volatile school situation. Ah what memories an xasuusto.

  23. My mother is reer Gaalkacyo even though my dad is on clan lines but he grew up in the south reer Kismayo so we are builting homes in Kismayo at this moment Last time I knew aabe was born and bred in Ceel-Buur, mise it is the new fashion statement to illegitimately claim Kismaayo?

Anyways I find it rather telling that you have completely side-step the origin of the topics started for us by non other then one of the more prominent news sources from your folk! Why is that? Or is it even incumbent upon us to ask..? Bishaaro with the display of electrifying tantrums and childish antics, I'm afraid our local fairy-tale writer will get a stoke before anything else.
