I have always believed that the collapse of the Habash empirical state was only a matter of time. Is the process being speeded up? The end is near..?

I knew there would be a day when our natural suspiciousness bordering xenophobia would serve as well.

The courts take control of Beled Weyne. Is Gaalkacayo next?
Gabbal replied to Che -Guevara's topic in Politics
If they were about religion they would have have moved to Balinbale and not Cadaado, Galinsoor and so on. Sxb, I think I explained exactly why, even though the Courts are motivated by religion, that Balanbale was not "taken" balse Cadaado and Gelinsoor were taken and I think I was clear in making sure people understood that it was the nature of the Courts' to not add fire to clannish sentimentalities in our country..? That is also the reason, I explained, that people's fears of Puntland being "attacked" is at best paranoid.. -

Gabbal replied to Che -Guevara's topic in Politics
No such thing will happen precisely because of our people's clannishness. The Courts know better and certainly their intentions are better. The Courts realize that the key to bringing all our people under religious rule is by having sabr and going after those they share lineage precisely to dispell any qabyaalad associated with them. It's quite obvious the Courts have realized to unite and "clean out", so to say, the house of their "clan" and when that job is done sit face to face with their counterparts and "xaajood" as people without ulterior motives. The Courts have moved from Guri-El and captured Cadado and Gelinsoor and have decided to move towards the final eradication of Qeybdiid from hsi clan base in southern Galkayo. Why would the Courts aim for far away peaceful and secure Puntland when the Abudwak, Balanbale, and Dhabad's of the day they have left alone are located centrally in the heartland of their control? There lies anyone's answer about Court motives. Puntland is saved, this time. -

It’s not ‘a hope in the unseen’ to suggest that dialog is the only way forward for the Islamic Courts to succeed in their mission. I'm sure you know that's not what I ment and infact I am sure you know just what I ment. The TFG and the Courts are not combatible and no amount of personal opinion and/or wishful thinking will change that fact.

I think this surpasses our Landers in the hope in the unseen. He is pro-democracy, he said so himself. Didi, so Islam and democracy are not combatible?

Anyhow, I still contend Abdulahi is the president so everything should and has to be ultimately traced back to him. If he, the president, is being hood-winked away from his real powers by a subordinate, then we should pity the fool but certainly not excuse him. Not that I'm insulting the old man you understand.

^You assume to much, but what can I say anyways? The money trail must be too good to them! I think a fella in there (those that resigned) is one of their more "senior" members of the government; the link between the Gedo traditional polity and the president. On the other hand, are you admitting the president and the TFG are working against the national interest of the nation..

This is a cyber forum adeer and everyone is entitled to their opinion. That doesn't mean we share Pureblood's opinion nor does it mean we had not already acted just because you have not seen it publicly. What is hypocritical in this stance is you speak out about that, as a political score of course, when emotionally-prone insults such as "Huuraale" and "Afweyne" (deceased individual in this case) came easily off of your religiously masked lips and you, yourself, do not hesitate in alikening me, myself, to a "neo-con" or, worse yet, a "zionist". What's the extent of this irony..? Adeer pureblood wuu khaldanyahay, adiguna meel baa ku bugtaa. Horn & Allamagan, gibinka xad gudubka ha ku eeganina. Lastly, where you really born and bred in Kismaayo adeer? Lahjadaas hal meel baa wadanka dhan u gaar ah, halkaas iyadoo soo dhaaftane ilaayo haatan lama hayo.

Horn, nice comeback See the sad thing is adeer, it's not a comeback, it's the reality. so therefore the only people xiin could be I see the double dealing of Xiin being a rightous Muslim vs. a shameless hardcore tribalist all within the space of one post must have striked a chord in you also but it's a fella by the name of Jimcaale formerly known as Ducaqabe that you're conversing with and not Xiin.

^Ducaqabow naxarka diinteenu, kitaabkeenu, iyo nabigeenu had iyo jeer faraha u laabtay caydeedu iyo aflagaadadeedu ma way ahayn qabiil waxa isku kiin keentay? Aduun ma layaab baa u hartay? Maslaxad Kismaayo u hartay maba taal. Laba qoloo walaaltinima xigsata baa u dambeyse wax la maslaxiyo iyaduna jawi afgarashoo lagu farxi bey ku dhamaatay. The SOL archives proofs it. Dan waliba adeer, waa in shacabka guud la qanciyaa. Waa mushkilo hadii aad damacdid inaad shaqsiyan walbo qancisaa.

Originally posted by Xoogsade: Horn, it is for security reasons they pray for that and not because they believe certain clans can not live in Kismayo. From Dhoobley/libooy to kismayo, from Afmadoow to Kismayo, travelling on land is risky, the same goes for people who travel from Kismayo towards Muqdisho or to other Gosha areas. Too many isbaarooyin with most of them manned by men who hail from Mudug and who make a living that way. Inside Kismayo, security is an issue as well. Xoogsade I thought you were going to imply that such a system of unfairness exists in Kismaayo and was surprised where you would come from since the only other group who partake of such things are known for doing it through the propaganda machine. Sxb you are correct, security really is an issue but it is not as much now as it has been. Most of the road blocks have already been dismantled (I remember posting an article last year), however, and counter-crime and petty crime in the city and neighboring areas have always been a priority of the maamul. Also, the phenomenon of the abrupt and violent taking of Mogadishu has not happened in Kismaayo largely because of Barre's attitude. He is not anti-religion as our friends Qanyare and Raage and nor led by greed as our friends Suudi and Ilqeyte. Hassan Turki, who is by no means a friend of Barre, has long been under his amnesty from both inside and outside enemies. If, however, the Islamic movement in our homeland passes this dangerous stage and Allah (SWT) helps it succeed contrary to the wishes in Baidoa, Addis Ababa, etc, Hiiraale will have no choice but to step down. Hiiraale is in Kismaayo because a wrong took place. He is there as a force against aggression and, when and if Islam succeeds, that aggression will forced to disappear. As a result of that, Barre Adden Shire would cease to have a mandate. Kismaayo, and all other cities, will come under the administration of a single Islamic administration composed of all our peoples. Now pray with me, sxb, to see our infantile movement withstand the assault on it by powerful forces.

Baydhabo: Qanyare oo hubkiisa dawladda ku wareejiyay.
Gabbal replied to xiinfaniin's topic in Politics
Or at worst, what we have in you, is the sort of fellow, who will attempt that classical “bait-and-switch†exercise of trying to short-change any straight forward transaction of reasoned discussions, that those who came to see, the “white-in-your-eyesâ€, so to speak, where your argument is concern, in any given occasion will be rather disappointed when they realised, that you never had the intention to stick with the remit that had occasioned this debate in the first place; but, merely, your attempt was all along, to draw others into false perspective of thinking that you are also holding this argument from your end, as best you could possibly do. Whilst all along, what you were hoping, is to have an opening or a lee-way within the margin of this argument, which could allow you to then try to change the whole arguments from it’s well-established moorings, particularly from it's mid-course of that same discussion, towards, where you wanted all along this debate to go to; with the aid of the flimsiest of all mother-of-excuses, and with a touch of sleight of hand added to bargained; as if those who are observing your "bait-and switch" exercise towards the gist of this debate, will not notice your tiresome mendacity. What a hit! -

You had better correct yourself Duke. I here a contingent of sorts comprising a section of "Ciidamada Qaranka" from Gedo have arrived in Baidoa.. Ayoub- That was political play between Duke and I sxb. Ask him if I ment it as a boast or sarcasm. -

Hornafrique Insecure - for the lack of a better term - is a man who boasts his adeero sent troops to Baidoa in one thread, and against Ethio in another. Mucjiso. Listen Ayoubka. During my use of this forum, more accusations than I can count have been hurled at me. None, however, have I taken offense at as much as that one. Where adeer? When? Qudhac- In any case you are probably correct. WE ARE A SHAME TO OUR NAME. -
I think it took courage to pull off of the Khartoum. Using that talks to highlight the Habash interference was also an excellent political manouvering. We support them.

A truly respectable leader in his own right who had, not only the the respect of Somalis, but of the whole Islamic community in the state of Washington. Imagine that, a great scholar and a former professor of Islamic studies. Kudos to the Courts! My support increases everytime I see the calibre of their members. Sheikh Ibrahim recently asked to be sent back to Somalia after being arrested and being held by the anti-terrorism and immigration officials on flimsy charges. First he was accused of lying to immigration officials, then of being a member of the ONLF, and then of other accusations. Everytime a charge was refuted, another soon followed until it was obvious to all that the good Sheikh was being held on acount of only being a respected religious leader. Since the harshest sentence of those charges was deportation, the good Sheikh volunteered to be sent back to his country after having coverted a total sum of 38 people in the Washington immigration facility at Tacoma. Earlier Arrest There goes the Sheikh in the left hand side with glasses and cimaamad. Sounds like the most controversial figure they could have chosen for these negotiations, saaxib! If they were not Wadaads, I’d read this choice as sticking two fingers to the USA. This of course is in no way a judgment from my side on the credentials (or otherwise) of this person. From a political point of view and seeing that the government and many others have been trying to paint the courts as terrorists and what not, I think this is a school boy mistake on the part of the Mullahs. They, more than anyone else, know that ‘image’ is everything. Our friend Ngoon Sxb you actually brought an excellent point. I think what you don't seem to understand is the Courts are led by a strong belief in God. They only hold themselves accountable to God and, in that respect, they truly believe that the West could go and f themselves for all they care. Care for "image", in this case, shows control by the whims of Aduunyo. The Mullahs do not live in the Aduunyo. Juje- I was listening to his broadcast when I couldn't help but be familiar with that voice. Finding his splitting image and name did not help matters. I will verify. Rahima- I think it's an incarnation.
