These are all part of reasons even individuals such as Sheikh Dahir Hassan Aweys and Sheikh Mukhtar Roobow, men who despite all that sent goon squads to take care of him, have voiced as the cause of their own personal respect and admiration for the said man. I think it is fitting if you separate Sheikh Hassan Dahir and Cabdiqasim from the rest of the group. People can have their own personal opinions and beliefs but as far as we know, these men are not warlords who allowed anarchy to fester and were not controllers of checkpoints and such.

Who hasn't changed their positions? He used the same two reasons this TFG succeeded with; 1. Internal/external terrorism. 2. Disarming of militias opposed to him. Calls out the United Nations Security Council on their "obligation" to send peace keepers to the Somali people.
