Keif haliki, In reply to above forumer! Good question. When one takes the message literally, it is difficult to decode it. However, If one ponders a little, it is self-explanatory, infact so simple its like teaching an infant baa-baa black sheep Rule #4 says: 4. If you see wrong from your wife, try being silent and do not comment! This is one of the ways Rasul Allah - sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam - used when he would see something inappropriate from his wives - radi Allahu 'anhunn. It's a technique that few Muslim men have mastered. The way I understand is that when your wife makes minor mistakes do not comment at first remain silent...let her figure it out. Li anna, this method is useful to diffuse pre-emptive problematic issues arising from the man constantly correcting every mistake. Think about it for one moment, do you like people to highlight every tiny mistake you do, no you don't rather to figure it out yourself. That is not to say someone should not correct you indeed they should but not every single mistake, you will then develop hate for that person. It is well documented that women were created from a crooked rib, if you try to straighten it what happens? obviously it breaks. In general according to behavioural psychologists, women are hyper-aware of their environments and the slightest tiny details in life. They are very good observers! p.s. hope you appreciate it ! kind regards

Interesting. This is not new phenomena though. The Economists such as Alfred Marshall (University of Chicago) brought forward a similar argument for measuring happiness/wellbeing of consumers. They use UTILITY FUNCTIONS. For example, Mujahid is a customer he just bought a HP laptop, my utility function will say be 100 (relatively happy) and if I purchase a house I would move to a higher utility function say of 1,000 (utilities) denoting (blissfully over the moon). Therefore, total happiness and function = 1,100 utilities. For Somalia, well lets say they are more important dillemas to tackle first before moving into economical reform. First, let us unite

Salaam Alaikum, My local Shaykh in my area runs a programme on every saturday whereby young brothers deliver a khutbah on a heart-touching topic by summarising a book/lecture they read or heard. So, I thought can a similar project work online whereby we can deliver at least one good topic a week? I have discovered that things said from heart and which one practices is best received by the audience. Topics we had include: 1) Satan's Web 2) Sinner's Paradise 3) Khushuuc 4) Heroes of Islam 5) Signs of the hypocrites and so on.. We are all very busy and I think we will benefit considerably if we can summarise some fascinating books/leaflets/lectures/stories we recently been discovering on Islam and deliver a khutbah on it. We can do this by someone at least preparing for five minutes a summary of a khutbah written by himself/herself and posting it here to be pondered upon, make it reasonable length with enthusiasm and touching the heart. For example, perhaps you read a book called Signs of Judgement Day by Ibn Kathir. You can summarise like the main signs of the 'Judgement Day' such as the sun rising from the west, ya'juj wa ma'juj (gog and magog, the devilish kingdom), return of Christ (Son of Mary), the anti-christ (masiih ad-dajaal), the mahdi and so on in more profound details... It does not have to be long, keep it short (, snappy and eloquent... (Insha-Allah) What do you guys out there think? Good idea or what We are looking for astonishing, eloquent, mesmerising topics, absolutely unique and tentalising with a clout ! Calling all students of Islam.... Your Forum Need's You !!! Spare just 5 mins of your time, time is of the essence, use it or be cut by it. First can we have a volunteer for this week, who wants to deliver a topic entirely written by him/her? Perhaps Muraad will start us off since he is most knowledgeable We await yaa shaykh. P.S. This thread is for serious folks only. This is not entertainment. If you wish to contribute please do so if not just read and enjoy Take it away !

Salaam Alaikum, Obviously I am a Muslim created by Allah. All humans trace back their origin to being a Mixed clay (creation of Adam) and Hawa (Eve), then subsequent humans from those two. I am first: 1. Nutfah: Mixture of Male and Female sexual discharge (egg fertilised by sperm to form a zygote in the ovum of the female). 2. A'laqah: A blood clot hanging to the uterus of the woman. 3. Embryo, Mudghah stage of being like leech structure. 4. Kisaa ul idham bil-laham, which means the clothing of bones with flesh or muscle, given head, legs, heart and all other human tools. 5. Then delivered in a hospital came into the world as a cute baby (no picture sorry ) This should have answered your question I am sperm and egg coming together, then blood clot, embryo, flesh and bones and so on. Mujahid over and out !

More than 300 Miracles performed by Prophet (SAW) but those miracles happened in his life time. The greatest miracle given to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is the Quran, a real visual miracle, meaning today in this day and age, one can see the Quran and verify it is a miracle. Enjoy the below article, Mujahid over and out ! ----------- Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): The Miracle Worker (Islamweb) By: Faisal Siddique A miracle is an act which suspends the normal physical laws that govern our universe. All the miracles presented here are from the hadith collections of Imams Bukhari and Muslim, which enjoy impeccable authenticity. Please remember that this is an incomplete list. For some lengthy ahadith I have included only the relevant portions with ellipses in the appropriate location. Splitting of the Moon Anas related that when the people of Makkah asked Allah's Messenger to show them a sign, he showed them the moon in two pieces, between which they were able to see Mount Hira'. (related by Bukhari and Muslim). Flowing of Water from His Hands Jabir narrated that on the day of al-Hudaybiyah ... people came forward and told the Prophet that they had no water for wudu' or drinking, except that which was in his vessel. The Prophet put his hand into the vessel and water began to pour forth between his fingers like springs ... He replied that if there were a hundred thousand it would be sufficient for them, adding that there were 1,500 (related by Bukhari and Muslim). Glorification from Meals Abdullah ibn Mas'ud narrated: "...They brought him (the Prophet) a vessel containing little water and when he had put his hands into it he said, "Come to the blessed cleansing medium and the blessing from Allah. I saw the water sprouting from the fingers of Allah's Messenger and we heard the meal itself glorifying Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) when it was being eaten" (related by Bukhari). Rain in Madinah Anas narrated: "When the Prophet was preaching one Friday a nomad got up and said. 'The animals are perishing and the children are hungry, so make dua' to Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) for us', the Prophet then raised his hands and could not see a speck of cloud in the sky, but I swear by Him in Whose hand my soul is (Allah), that he had not lowered his hands before clouds were appearing like mountains, and before he descended from his pulpit I saw the rain coming down on his beard. We had rain that day, the next, the day after, all the way until the next Friday. Then that nomad (or someone else) got up and said, 'Messenger of Allah, the buildings are collapsing and the animals are drowning, so make du'a to Allah for us.' The Prophet then raised his hands and invoked Allah to send rain round about them not on them directly. Then he did not point to any region in the clouds without their breaking up, and Madinah became like a gap. The wadi (valley) had a channel flowing in it for a month, and no one came to any region without speaking of plenty..." (Related Bukhari and Muslim). Movement of Trees Jabir narrated: " ... There were two trees at the side of a valley, and Allah's Messenger went to one of them and, taking hold of one of its branches, he said. 'Allow yourself to be led by me, with Allah's permission. Then like a camel with a piece of wood in its nose, it was led by him, amenable to the one who guided it, until he came to the other tree. Then taking hold of one of its branches he said, 'Allow yourself to led by me, with Allah's permission.' And it was led similarly. Then, when he was in between them he said, 'Draw close together about me, with Allah's permission,' and they did so. I sat occupied with my thoughts, and when I turned round, I saw Allah's Messenger coming, and I noticed that the trees had separated ..." (related by Muslim) Healing the Wounded Yazid ibn Abi Ubayd said: "I saw the mark of a blow on the leg of Salamah ibn al-Akwa', and asked, 'How did you get this blow, Abu Muslim?' He replied, 'It is a blow I received at the battle of Khaybar, which made people say I had been killed. I went to the Prophet who blew spittle into it three times, and up to now I have had no trouble with it," (related by Bukhari). Al-Bara' said, "... But when I put my foot down, I fell and broke my leg, for it was a moonless night. I tied it with a turban and rejoined my companions, and when I came to the Prophet I told him all that had happened. He told me to stretch out my leg and when I had done so, and he had passed his hand over it, it seems as if I have never had anything wrong with it," (related by Bukhari). Invoking Allah's Wrath Salamah ibn Akwa' narrated: " ...A man was eating with his left hand in the presence of the Prophet, who said, 'Eat with your right hand.' When he replied, 'I am not able to,' the Prophet said, 'May you not be able to,' for it was simply obstinacy which prevented him. The man told me that he could never raise that hand to his mouth to eat after that." These are simply a few of the miracles of the Prophet, and I have tried to provide a variety with the few I did present. These and more may be found in the authentic books of hadith and sirah of Prophet Muhammad.

Salaam, Unfortunately with some of us when the religious sheikhs or fellow Muslims or good parents tell them stop this girlfriend business, and you say sister please stop pre-marital relationships, for your own sake wear the hijaab and the jilbaab, brother stop seing that jamaican or that white blond blue eyed girl. They in more words than one reply " Verily, these people (preachers) are a people that wish to be purified". In a somali rhetoric "war dee naga tag, wuxu muxuu ahaa? And now they wonder ! in a state of amazement that they have HIV or STD, woe unto us

Salaamu Alaikum, It was a typical Wednesday Evening, passing through my quiet residential area making my routine journey back from university pondering about the situation in Iraq. There was a cacophonous silent in the neighbourhood. The Next door neighbour who used to play his Music loud was quiet, very strange  Upon entering the house, I quickly viewed the 7.00 PM Channel Four News and the first word being uttered was " War is due in less than 6 Hours - 1 am UK time." As soon as I watched for five minutes I left feeling helpless and cursing blair witch and monkey bush. By this time, I hoped war did not occur and still remaining positive. I was receiving text messages to pray for our Muslims in Iraq and forwarded them to friends. One of the friends replied back, “O brother, I cannot sleep tonight”. Did my routine duties and went to sleep absolutely nackered, been one of those long days. I woke up during Fajar and turned on the TV, Subhana-Allah, War in Iraq was a reality. The infidels were bombing Basra, South of Iraq, near the Northern Kuwait border. I watched for five minutes and turned the bloody TV off. Back to the cosy bed, I felt sick and petrified for my brothers and sisters in Iraq, a sense of dejavu, memories of Bosnia, Gulf War, Afghanistan Attacks, images of Muslims being massacred in Palestine crept into my head. Pondering, turning reliantly! Feeling vulnerable! Why are we Muslims the objects of every barbaric act? I could not sleep for hours until I finally dosed off in the early hours of the morning muttering "Yaa Allah give Victory to the Muslims" over and over again. Woke up late, went to college, and saw students organising stop the war collation. What can I do? Nothing but Du'a This is my reaction before and after the unjust war. Brothers and sisters keep on doing your du’a this indeed is a great weapon, let your dua gun blaze  P.S. I met some Iraqi person at college and said they had over 50 members of their family in Iraq. Felt sorry for them – Masakiin

Wa Alaikum Salaam, Surah Ar-Rum Chapter 30 Verse No. 22: "Wa min Aayaatihii khalqu samawaati wal ardh wakhtilaafu alsinatikum wa al waanikum ina fii daalika la ayaatin lil caalimiin" " And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and earth, and the difference of your languages and colours. Verily in that are indeed signs for men of sound knowledge." Everything in this world has a cause and effect and the tree is there for a purpose of giving us oxygen and breathing in carbon dioxide, the cattle for a purpose of us using their hide and meat and milk, think about the chicken, it lays more eggs than it needs, why? the extra eggs are for us ! and mankind created for the purpose of worshipping Allah only, the living, enjoying of the world, the sleeping are all consequential, mere fact is you are here to worship Allah only. You don't go to school to stay there, you don't build a house not to move in, you don't work not to get paid. Similarly you are not alive for the sake of living but here for a purpose. Similary, the sky is blue for a reason, and the sun is bright for a reason, the sun sets in the west for a reason and mankind is of different colours for a reason, showing the Variations in Allah's creation. These are all signs in order mankind may reflect and come to know that there is only One Power, One that Knows All, Fashions, Sustains and Proportions All. That Power is Allah and everything He Has created for a reason. P.S. Please change your name. Don't you know whoever you imitate you might well stand next to him in the akhira. Now sheytan is the greatest loser in this world, disobeyed Allah when told to bow down to Adam, his destiny is already decided, he is doomed in hell but your destiny is in your own control. There is no benefit in taking up his name but on the contrary what might be a joke to you know could be a griveous mistake. There is an old somali saying : " Nin walba wuxuu iska dhigo ayuu noqdaa" Call yourself Abdullah instead, best name on this planet my friend. Mujahid over and out

Salaam, First of all this is not a lecture. I do not like that term. Nor am I aiming to offend anyone. For I myself am the Son of Adam and we all sin and make mistakes, but the trick being to repent. Merely it is information which I would like to share with my sisters in Islam. Men like Women and Women like Men. Some claim what is the problem that a girl shows off her assets, flaunts it if she has it? Well look at it from this angle, a girl who is wearing westernised dress (abit revealing) walking in the street with a girl who is fully covered except face and hands and there is some guy in the street who is a criminal/raper in a rough neighbourhood near an alley. Which girl would he be most attracted to? The covered one or the one wearing westernised dress? Obviously, the one wearing western dress. So this is why Muslim women should cover. Also, there is commandment from Thy Lord telling them to do so (Read Surah Noor Verse Number 31): Chapter 24, Verse 31. " And tell the beleiving women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts) and not to show off their adornment except that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer palms if hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, headcover, apron) and to draw their veils all over Juyubihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bossoms) and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband's fathers, or their sons, or their husband's sons, or their brothers, or their brother's sons, or their sister's sons, or their (Muslim) women (i.e. sisters in Islam) or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess, or old male servants who lack vigour, or small children who have no sense of feminine sex. And let them not stamp their feet so to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And all you beg Allah to forgive you all, O believers that you may be successful." Hadith 6/4758 (Sahih Al Bukhari): " Narrated Aishah (RAA) When Allah revealed: ''.. And to draw their veils all over Juyubihinna ( i.e. their bodies, faces, necks, and bosoms)'' --- they tore their Muruts ( a woollen dress, or a waist-binding cloth or an apron) and covered their heads and faces with those torn Muruts." So how come, even when we know this, some of our Muslim women walk in the streets dressed like the western women. We know it is tough for the Muslim women especially in the West to wear Hijaab and adequate dressing. There are many excuses not to. But think of what you are are loosing out and the vast rewards of wearing hijaab and the dignity. It may be hot 35 degrees celcius, stuffy day and yet difficult to wear hijaab and long dress but hey compare this to the day of reckoning when the sun is brought near to the head, don't want to be shaded from this? Also, it may be that the Western Women at college or in the street make fun of you and call you names, but hey think of the day when you will mock them back and anyhow you are on the straight-path and upon guidance whereas they are upon falsehood. Also, we could have the situation whereby perhaps a girl might think the Hijaab and her long dress (Jilbaab) are making her look ugly and stopping her from flaunting those long - curly dark hair and beauty. Trust me, not for one minute is she ugly infact the reality is they look more attractive. And others including men will judge her for what she is not how she looks? We are not in this world to satisfy humans just please Allah and fear Him yet hope for mercy. Let me tell you of a truly inspiring story. There was this English teenage girl who became Muslim on a particular Sunday last summer. After becoming Muslim, the girl came back the next Sunday with a full-dress and hijaab. It was asked how come you dressed like this already, normally it takes time. She simply replied "It is a command from the All-Mighty and feel more comfortable this way than before" Also, there was this other Mixed Race girl, she became Muslim and I saw her at a certain bus stop properly covered. Walaahi, it is amazing, western women are giving up the idea of being exploited by men and turning to Islam. Simply because True Womanhood can only be gained not through feminism but via Islam. That's my piece said !

Yo ! Suuban, why you promoting twelver shiica in this site. Don't you have no clue that this group is deviant? And how do I know that? Well allow me to explain ! for example look at the site you quote. For all these Imams they believe they are macsuum (infallable), meaning they make no mistakes. Subhana-Allah how can a man except the Prophets be macsuum (Infallable). Second, these people curse the saxaaba like Abu-bakar, Cumar and Uthman (These are the best of the Muslims). Look not for one minute shall we condone this pompesterous teachings. The saxaaba are the best Muslims, we respect them and copy their actions since they were the closest to Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Shiasm group arose from the Jewish plot whereby a munaafiq Jew named Abdullah Saba took a fake shahaada and spread the falsehood that the saxaaba tricked Ali and his family to taking the Caliphatehood. This is a lie. We all know from the Hadith narrated from Abdullah Ibn Omar in Sahih Bukhari we do not differentiate between the saxaaba. I am out  p.s. after each Imam they say calaihi salaam, according to what I know this is reserved only for Prophets.

That Muj is not me  Only a scholar can make such statements. Saxiib the Name Mujahid is copyrighted see Trademark number 911 Btw to get back to the main topic. Defending oneself from any attack is intelligence. Good luck to the Iraqi Muslims, May Allah help you and give you victory over the oppressors and those filthy army troups - Ameen ! Let us keep on doing Dua, whoever can do more let them do it, and utilise this weapon. May Allah destroy those that attack the Muslims. Salaam, My role Model is the one whom I will be asked off in my grave (Muhammad (SAW)). The one who continously strived and completed his mission of spreading tawheed, peace, harmony and bringing mankind from jaahiliya to guidance. The one who broke a tooth and got injured for my benefit in battles so that the message should reach me. The one who warned me in one of his last statements that the safety sect is the one which is upon what he and his saxaaba were on (Tirmidhi Hadith). I am obliged to follow his sunnah and establish Itibaac. Meaning that I follow whatever he came with, his life-style should become my life-style, his purpose of life my purpose of life and his mission my mission. Itibaac also means loving him more than I love myself and anyone else. In essence, any one who thinks his role model is Mohammed (SAW) means he/she will follow his sunnah and anyone that follows his sunnah has accepted the 2nd part of the shahaadatain = ".. Muxamadun Rasuulu Allah." Subxaana ka Allahuma wa bi xamdika Wa Ash-hadu an Laa ilaaha ilaa Ant astaghfuruka wa atuubu Ilaik. Mujahid over and out! Even Non-Muslims testify this: Read the Brittanic Encyclopedia 11th Edition. "In more words than one they say Muhammad (SAW) was the most successful man ever to walk earth and the greatest Prophet ever" Bedankt (one dutch word i picked up means thanks )

Is it Wrong it fall In love with a married guy, with Kids???
Armstrong replied to Sensual_Healing's topic in General
Wa Alaikum Salaam Yaa Faatimah, Wow ! Damn ! Complex situation or what? One must try to balance so much. On one side you are trying to keep family happy and the other side one is in love with someone who is married already with four kids. As usual the way to get out of any mess is via Quran and Sunnah and obviously using your intellect. Unfortunately I do not think any one can tell her what to do, this is a personal conquest and struggle. According to my limited knowlegde and understanding. I would recommend the sister to sit down by herself and ponder on the following paramount questions: 1. Am I marrying for Allah's sake in order to stay away from zina? 2. Do I really love and attracted to this person and the feeling mutual? 3. Get the consent of her family? If not still she can disagree since she is marrying him not the family marrying him. 3. Would I disturb the family cohesion and especially his wife and four kids, does the wife agree for him to marry or happy? 4. What are the conditions of polygomy and compare it with this situation? Consult the findings with fellow Muslims and make a decision. Before making a decision, perform wudu, and offer two rakat salaah (prayers). After recite the Istikharah dua http://www.fiqh.net/Salah/Istikhara.htm asking for Allah's Over-Flowing guidance in your matter then surely you will be successful. " Wa shaarwirhum fil amr fa idaa cazamta fatawakal cala Allah..." "..And consult them in the affair and when you have made your decision trust in Allah.." Mujahid over and out ! -

First of all Salamu Alaikum to all, Not for one minute will the real Mujahidiin condone the act of killing anyone or thing except for a just cause such as the killing of a murderer, adulterer (if married), homosexual (if caught in the act), the apostate (one who leaves Islam) and Qitaal to make the word of Allah supreme. As we are taught in the diin, only fight if they fight you for the sake of Allah not for a flag or nationalism. The root word of Islaam is 'Salama' denoting peace by submitting and surrending to Almighty Allah. As most of us understand, the real Mujahid or Mujahida is one who is fighting with himself/herself. In that I mean, fighting his/her own evil desires, trying to pray more, wearing the authentic hijaab, being in a state of Taqwa and Ikhlaas and enjoy the good and forbid the bad. Walaahi, just the thought of a day when the children would be grey, and the mother would give birth and leave her newborn, when the sun is brought near up to the head and the fire is brought near should be enough of a detterant to engage in badness. And the promise of overflowing gardens, thrones set high, cushions, pearls and gold, young servants serving us, wine, fruits of all kinds, and fulfilment of all desires like sitting next to The Messenger (SAW) and the real joy of seeing 'The Face of Allah' should be our goals to achieve and we should initiate the action of performing good deeds for the sake of Allah to get admission to eternal happiness and satisfaction. Anything not done according to Quran and Sunnah fails. Look deep into yourself and just be concerned with yourself until you can call yourself a proper practising Muslim. Meanwhile, pray for our brothers and sisters and do what you can to help them, send money, raise awareness of their situations and etc. Ya Allah ! Set Bait Al Maqdis free, help all Muslims who are oppressed and give us victory both in this world and in here-after - Amiin P.S. Sorry for digressing from the topic but that is my piece said  Mujahid over and out !

Salamu Alaikum, Some might argue why are being aware of the beliefs of others? I think living in the west we must spread Islam, we must carry the Dawa to those unfortunate enough to not know about Islam to show them their erroneous beliefs based on incongruities and show them the truth (Islam). Islam is not just for the Muslims, the Quran says: " ..Wa maa arsalnaaka ilaa kafaatan li naas bashiiran wa nadiiran, wa lakina aktharal insaana laa yaclamuun.." ".. We have not send you (O Muhammad (SAW)) except to all mankind as a warner and bringer of glad tidings.." First thing obviously is to have knowledge hence I think it is good idea to share what we know of other religions to propagate Islam starting with your non-Muslims friends. Today we shall deal with the Christians since in the west like the UK where I live they have christianic beliefs. In my University, there are some african christians who propagate their religion. Also, in public places like Hyde Park Corner to others some of them attacking Muslims. We either fight back, therefore we need weapons (knowledge) or allow them to use us as punching bags. So lets start with them christians to highlight what their beliefs are and to show that verily they are on the wrong path (Hell Fire) if they die on this state. Since no other religion does God except from anyone except Islam: "... Ina diina cinda laahi Islam.." "...Verily in the sight of Allah, the only religion is Islam.." -------------------- Lets start with the foundation of their belief (I) Christians belief God is three, Son, Spirit and Father.(Subhanallah, High above is God above what they associate with him). There is no evidence in their own scripture of this illogical and stupified doctrine and verily these people have far been astrayed. (II) Christians base their religion on the first testament (Torah) and Gospel (compiled by Mathew, John, Mark and Luke 48 years apart without colluding with one other). Matthew who? John who? Mark who? Luke who? The bible is the only document or book in the world which is accepted by some people (the christians) with authors who do seem to not remember their second names?? Did your mother give you only one name? Is your cheque or passport accepted with your first name only? (III) In addition, a vision by an infidel apostate Paul (St. Paul) which allegedly said "He had a vision that he met Jesus in a dream and been chosen as an apostle to spread his religion." St. Paul wrote 15 different books. Initially, the Torah refers to God as one, the absolute master and the first commandment given to Moses was to prohibit associating patners with God (To worship one God). Then suddenly, the works of St. Paul is the first to utter and say lies against God such as assigning a son to God. Subhanallah, High above is God above all they associate with him, the One True God did not beget nor was he begotten. (IV) The Bible contradicts itself with over 250,000 errors found and even acknowledged by the christians. For example, in the book of John, Chapter 1, Verse 19, the bible talks about an event when John was supposedly in prison and the Jews asked him art thou Elias (some prophet they claim should have come infront of Jesus son of Mary (AS), he said no. Nonetheless, in the Gospel of Matthew it is clearly stated that supposedly Jesus said Elias or the Spirit of Elias is John the Baptist. Therefore, whose speaking the truth John (Yahya) (AS) or Jesus (AS)??? Subhanallah, we should not even entertain this question, we Muslims do not belief in this pure deluded kufr ideology and accept all Prophets as Righteous and Allah did indeed bless with Hikmah and purifying them and preferred them above the A'lamin. But we are using it merely to illustrate the fallibility of the bible and how humans altered it and how their belief is based on corruption. (V) The Bible is further split into 700 different denominations, 39 versions, with different books and version and different chapters and verses which they disagree with. Telling us that some sort of human agency must have altered it or tempered with it. No one to this day can agree which book is the bible? For example, for the Muslims, when we are told bring your book we bring one book: Quran ul Karim. But for the christains, they can never bring only one but bring numerous bibles? So we ask will the real bible please stand up? ---------- Written by Mujahid References: (1) What is the purpose of life? by Khalid Yasin and (2) What the Bible says about Muhammad (SAW) by Ahmad Deedat. Muslim Leaders Open Emergency Summit to Seek Elusive Consensus on Iraq (Islamweb) & News Agencies Muslim leaders from around the world opened an emergency summit Wednesday; part of frantic diplomatic efforts to avert a U.S.-led war to oust Iraqi President Saddam Hussein that is widely feared would destabilize the Middle East. Wednesday's meeting of the 57-member Organization of the Islamic Conference was the third high-level gathering in the region in a week aimed at trying to figure out how to stave off war. Arab and Islamic nations are divided on whether there is any chance to do so if Saddam holds on to power. In his opening remarks, Qatari leader Sheik Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani called for a unified position, saying that while the Muslim world does not claim to hold the strategic decision over war and peace "we are certain that we can influence decisions." Efforts Should Focus on Exhausting All Peaceful Means to Solve the Crisis "Our choice today ... rests on our belief in what we can do for Iraq to get out of this crisis in a way that will avoid it and us any expensive price," Sheik Hamad said, stressing the importance of non-interference in Iraq's internal affairs and territorial integrity as well as Kuwait's. "We must be careful in all our moves that our efforts are focused on exhausting all peaceful means to solve this issue," he said. "Any other way will create more crises, conflicts and suffering." The summit comes, as calls for the Iraqi president to consider a life in exile have grown stronger. However, organizers have said it's up to the leaders to decide if they will discuss an initiative by United Arab Emirates President Sheik Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan urging Saddam to step down. Iran Proposes Referendum Iran put forward its own Iraqi peace proposal Tuesday in Tehran that urged the divided Iraqi opposition to reconcile with Saddam and called for U.N. supervised elections. An Iranian diplomat at the summit wouldn't say Wednesday morning if the Iranian proposal would be considered by the summit. However, he said on condition of anonymity that the Iranians want to discuss it with the Iraqis and with other Muslim and Arab countries. "We believe that the initiative has a good chance to succeed because it is different from the UAE initiative as it allows the regime to stay in power, but with national reconciliation," he said. Shortly before the meeting opened, Osama El Baz, a key adviser to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, told reporters in Doha the Iranian proposal is "serious" and deserves consideration. Iraqi exile groups, however, have been skeptical at best of the Iranian plan, with even the Iranian-based Shiite Muslim Iraqi opposition group, the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq, rejecting it. Arab League Chief Praises UAE Exile Initiative for Saddam Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher, meanwhile, praised the Emirates' initiative as "well intentioned," but he dodged questions about whether it will be discussed formally at the summit. "We want to send a clear message to the whole world in the name of the Islamic world." Kuwait's minister of state for foreign affairs, Mohammed Al Sabah, said it was "not only of historical importance but is timely and the only peaceful exit for this dangerous crisis." Sheik Zayed became the first Arab leader Saturday to publicly raise the idea of the Iraqi leadership relinquishing power to avoid war over suspicions that it possesses weapons of mass destruction in defiance of a U.N. regulation approved after Baghdad's defeat in the 1991 Gulf war. GCC Gives Preliminary Backing to UAE Initiative On Monday, a meeting in Doha of the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council gave its preliminary backing to the Emirates' initiative but did not formally endorse it, saying it should be discussed further in the Arab League. In addition to Kuwait, Bahrain has lent its full support to calls for Saddam's ouster. Both Gulf States host thousands of U.S. military personnel primed for war. Turkish Prime Minister Abdullah Gul also is taking part in Wednesday's one-day summit. Turkish politicians have been haggling over whether Turkey should allow U.S. troops to launch an attack from its territory or risk losing billions of dollars in aid and a say in Iraq's future. Using Oil as a "Weapon" to Avert War Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, a staunch anti-war advocate who arrived in Qatar Tuesday, has said Islamic states discussed another idea likely to worry the West: using oil as a "weapon" to avert a possible U.S.-led war on Iraq, but had failed to reach a consensus. Like other recent high-level gatherings, the Doha summit is aimed at trying to head off an Iraq war with the twin strategies of strongly urging Saddam to comply with U.N. demands to disarm, while making plain the group's opposition to force. Iraq is pushing hard for fellow Muslims to support it in its standoff with the United States, arguing that the Americans want to dominate Iraq's oil and divide the Arab and Muslims world. Most of the OIC countries have sent low-level delegations to the summit including the Muslim world's most populous country Indonesia. Heavyweights Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are represented by ministers or deputy ministers. Iran is represented by a deputy foreign minister. Iraq, however, sent Saddam's deputy Izzat Ibrahim. Salaams, The below article as found in www.islamweb.net explains the essence of Tawheed in a nutshell. Tawheed is the first step for reforming oneself and the pre-requisite of all righteous deeds. Thus is it incumbent for us to fully comprehend this principle. For example,if one was to build a house, he or she would require to build the foundation first then from that base build the rest of the house. Think of the foundation of the house as Tawheed and the rest of the house as Prayers, Fasting, Zakat, and Hajj. Take Five minutes to read it, hope we can apply this knowledge for the betterment of our life. -------------------- Interpretation of Surah Ikhlaas - Imam Ibn Taymiyyah (Islamweb) Notes extracted by Abu Iyaad The Ahl-us-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah (i.e. the Sunnis) do not deviate from those things which have been brought by the Messengers, for that is the Straight Path, the path of those whom God has bestowed His favour upon from among the Prophets, the Truthful, the Martyrs and the Righteous. It is in this collection of what has been described about Almighty God by Himself in Surah al-Ikhlaas (literally: "The Chapter of Purity") that makes it equal to one third of the Qur'an. In this surah, Almighty God has said: "Say! He is God, the One. The Eternally Besought of all. He does not beget, nor is He begotten. And there is nothing comparable to Him." (112:1-4) 1. Whatever the Messenger of God, may the peace and blessings of God be upon him, brought with him, that alone is real. It is obligatory to obey it and forbidden to deviate from it as this alone is the Straight Path which has no curves. 2. The Straight Path is only one and whoever deviates from it he strays onto the wrong path, innovation and injustice. Almighty God commands (in the Qur'an): "And this is My Straight Path, so follow it and do not follow the other paths lest they divert you from His way." (6:153) 3. The Straight Path is that path of the Ummah (community of Muslim believers) which lies in between the two extremes. Hence, the supplication in every rak'ah (i.e. unit) of the prayer: "Guide us to the Straight Path" , that He should help, assist, guide, support and lead us in those things which will help us to obey Him and keep us steadfast on His Path. This is the Path of those who were favoured by God: the Prophets, the Truthful, the Martyrs and the Righteous, and these are the best for keeping company. 4. The Concept of Tawheed has been explained in Surah al-Ikhlaas by separating and purging it from Shirk (associating others with Almighty God, polytheism and idolatry). 5. Imam Ahmad's narration of 'Ubayy bin Ka'ab that the mushrikoon (i.e. pagan idolaters) asked: "Oh Muhammed! Tell us the geneology of your Lordl", whereupon God revealed this surah. 6. From authentic hadiths, it is proven that this surah is equal to one third of the of the Qur'an. The substance of the statement of Ibn 'Abbaas is as follows: that the Qur'an consists of three fundamental objectives: a- Those commands and prohibitions which contain the laws and practical ways. These form the subject matter of the science of Fiqh (jurisprudence) and Ethics. b-The tales and narratives which include the stories of the Prophets and Messengers of God and their communities. The punishments and disasters which befell those who resisted and denied the Messengers of God. Also, the promises, rewards, warnings and dooms. c- The knowledge of Tawheed (the Unity of God) and the description of those matters which relate to the Names of Almighty God and His Attributes, that is obligatory upon the servant of God (i.e. each Muslim) to have faith in them. This has precedence over the first three. 7. Surah al-Ikhlaas contains the third objective and a general description of it. Thus, it is correct to say that this surah is equal to one third of the Qur'an. 8. The answer to the question that how does this surah contain comprehensively the knowledge of Tawheed and its principles which form the essence of the belief in Almighty God. God's command "He is God, the One" negates partnership with Him in every sense, whether it concerns His Self, Attributes or His Deeds. It also demonstrates the distinctiveness of God in His perfection, magnificence and majesty. The word Ahad is not used in affirmation for anyone besides God, since Ahad is more emphatic than Wahid. 9. The Tafseer (commentary, exegeses) of Ibn 'Abbaas for the verse "God! al-Samad (i.e. the Eternally Besought of all)" : The Chief who is best in His Nobility. The Great one who is best in His greatness. The Tolerant One who is best in His toleration. The Omnipotent who is the best in His omnipotence, the All Knowing who is best in His knowledge. The Self which is perfect in all types of nobility and greatness - that Self is only God - the Most Revered and the Most Powerful. He alone has these qualities for they do not apply to anyone save Him. No one is equal to Him and no one is like Him. 10. The Tafseer is also as follows: The Self who has no fear, around whom all creatures turn and Whom they seek after for all their needs and actions. 11. Affirmation in the Oneness negates all forms of polytheism and similitude. Affirmation of all the meanings of al-Samad includes all the noble Names and the most exalted Attributes. This is the Tawheed of Affirmation. 12. The Tawheed of Purity is in the statement: "He does not beget not nor is He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him." This statement can also be understood from the general statement: "Say! He is God! The One." Nothing came out of Him nor did He come out of anything. He has no equal, no likeness and no similarity. 13. Domination of the concept of Tawheed in this surah. The affirmation of Oneness for the Lord in total and absolute contradiction to all forms of Polytheism. His character of being "Eternally Besought of all", which proves all His Attributes, that He cannot suffer from any defect, negation of father and son which is an implication of Him being in no need and that all is in need of Him. All is characterized in the statement of His being besought and His Oneness. Negation of an equal which includes negation of similarity, resemblances and likeness. This surah includes all of these matters and is therefore rightly deserving of being called equal to a third of the Qur'an. --------------------

Salaamz, One day, I embarked upon a visit to a site named www.somalinet.com to glance at the Islamic forums. Subhana Allah to my astonishment I saw threads whereby our religion was being mocked. For example, threads dissing the Al-Mighty, The All-Wise. Also, they were bad-mouthing some of the rulings of our beloved diin. Furthermore, the infidels were bragging and boasting about how they left the diin. In addition, these infidel murtaad people who long ago left the diin are being given room by somalinet.com to ridicule the diin. It is amazing while others are entering our diin in large numbers and tasting the beautiful nectar of our beloved diin, we yet witness a small proportion of ignorant somalis yet still stuck in jaahiliya thinking since now they are in the west they can do as they please and easily bamboozled with nonsensical garbage such as freedom of speech. Finally, these people commit evil against none but they infidel-selves and one day unless they repent to modify their insular condition shall they taste the burning fury of JAHANAM! A warning never to visit this website again and also inform others to avoid it, expose the evil of somalinet.com W/Salaam, Mujahid over and out!
