It is really sad to see a Somali website propagating and hosting Anti-Islamic stuff. It is also very sad to see our fellow Somalis bashing or taking the mick of our beloved religion. I think we should take the matter to the site owners or administrators. I am sure they are Muslims, so at least if we tell them the problem, we have fulfilled our duty. salaams; I think it is good idea to take kids especially those born in the west back home. I dislike the term "Dhaqan Celis" thou, it just dont sound right to me. Recently Somalia became kinda dumping place, most of those who are taken back are corrupted, criminals, drug addicts/alcoholics, and mentally disturbed. Many parents only take their children/youth when they are fedup with them. I dont think those ones should be taken back home, they will only influence those back home. I even heard that if you go to some parts of Somalia no matter how old u r or how long u have been in the west, they still call u "Dhaqan Celis". And if you are lil chubby they will say "Wuu mudan yahay". This is because majority of youth who are taken back fall into one of the two categories... i blve only good ones who are ready/willing to learn their culture should be taken back... as sis Ameenah mentioned her lil bro came back with ideas of going back and making business, those r the kids that deserve to be taken home. macasalaama

salaams; is this another one like the eldoret thread... there is nathing peculiar with these names. they are all meaningful somali names. i think people will not vote on the basis of these names, but rather the political manifesto of that particular party. lastly, i dont know why some of the brothers and sisters in here are hating each other cuz of where they are from. this only happens in qurbaha. i think those in back home are more civilised than us, if u go to hargeisa or burco u will find somalis of all kinds and yet there is no hate, every 1 is doing their business - maybe we should go and learn from them. maca salaama

salaams all; this one is probably sad/stupid rather than funny, anyways this is wat happened; back in school we had this australian teacher who taught us biology... he was dead boring and strict, also most of my class mates had attitude problem and he hated us sooo much, every monday he used to give us at least 2 hrs detention. so we had enuf with this guy and we couldnt take it anymore. so i came up with this stupid idea. when we went out for lunch we got these tablets oo caloosha socodsiiya. qadadii ka bacdi ayaan class-kiisii nimi, markuu bilaabay ayuu naga baxay anna waxan sameeyay 2 xabbo ayaan shaahiisii ugu walaaqay. wuu soo laabtay shaahiisii ayuu iska cabbay. ilaa 1/2 hr markuu joogay sheekadii ayaa bilaabantay, he rushed to the loo, then came back... anyway wuxu dhahay i am not feeling well so gurigii ayuu aaday annagana macalin kale aa naloo keenay. 2 weeks markuu maqnaa ayuu soo laabtay. he found out wat happened from his gp and complained to the school and accussed us but there was no proof that we did it... i heard that the guy still never brings tea to his classroom from that day. i feel guity still even thou he deserved it; but when u r young u do a lot of silly things and i think i deserve forgiveness.
