Its true that the numbers of women in the Dawa's field are less than the men. But that's not because they are oppressed or don't have the right to be a scholar. Even in the West World, the number of the men working in the Dacwa field are more than the women. For example, I always hear about : Dr. Shahid Athar, Iman Hamza Yousef Hanson, Yusuf Islam ... and many more. I watch them in the TV,or read about'em n the Newspapers or the Net. But I've never heard till now about any Muslimah Scholar who is working in the Dawaa field in USA,Europe or Australia. Iam not saying they are not available but ofcourse their numbers will not reach the numbers of the Men Scholars. Which means, there are women working in the Dawaa field out there as Muftis, scholars, teachers but you will not expect them to be more than the men. Now lemme add the following names:- 1- Dr.Abla Al Kahlawi, Dean, Islamic and Arabic Studies and Professor of Islamic Sharia in AlAzhar University. Egypt 2- Dr.Suaad Saleh, Professor of Comparative Fiqh, AlAzhar University. Egypt 3- Dr.Zaynab Mustapha BTW, Dr, Abla and Dr.Suad have their own programs in Iqra Islamic Channel (The Arab Radio and Television) which is owned by the Saudi Investor Saleh Kamel. If he doesn't want Women scholars he can kick them out of his channels group. But he hosted and supported them. Salam

I heard the news during the Tarawiix prayer in the Mosque and it was shocking. The Sheikh was sick for a long time; its really a big loss. We are in the last ten days of Ramadan; I pray that Allah 4give him and reward him the Heaven. Amiin. Ina lelah wa ina elayhi rajecon

After the fights in Las Canood, I wonder when the Somalis will stop this cruel and black hate in their hearts. Who is responsible about all those innocents deads who died in this Holy Month of Ramadan?? If Somalis are brothers of Islam, race & land (And Iam sure there are blood relations somewhere between them) then why all these fights are taking place?? If this is happening between the brothers what do we expect from the enemies?? It is true that Satan is locked up during the month of Ramadan and nobody to blame for our sins except ourselves. Sometimes I feel the Humans are much worse than the Devil. Killing a Muslim is a Big sin, killing him in Ramadan (The Forbidden Months) its worse. So when this Tragedy will be ceased?? Its not a randaom thoughts at all, its always there La xawla wala qowata ela bellah

Salam Golden Girl I guess her name is " AlJareyah Tawadud " but Iam not sure for how long she was speaking the Qura'an; maybe for 40 Yrs, I could be wrong  Waiting the right answer from da otherz nomads My Q: When our Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) entered Madinah Who was the Saxaabi (The companion may Allah be pleased with him) who hosted the Prophet (PBUH) in his house in Madinah? By the way this Saxaabi was a great Mujahid and he is burried now under the walls of Constantinople (Now Istanbul in Turkey) ? Salam

Salam 1.The Home: This is surely the most fertile and most effective channel. Allah has ordained both husbands and wives as nurtures for each other and the family. The mother shares with the father the responsibilities of educating and nurturing in all physical, moral, psychological, social, and external aspects each other and their children. Members of the family are gathered together in the home for many hours and this creates harmony among them as well as affords an opportunity for presenting good examples and guidance. ^^^ Very true, as Charity begins at home, Dawa'a also begins at Home. There are some other problems facing the Dawa'a, 1- Some sisters think that they are not qualified to inform/tell about the Islamic Teachings and that the Dawa'a must be handled only by the Muslim sheikhs, scholars and teachers. Which is wrong coz the Dawa'a is not limited to the scholars only. Its true that the sheikhs are more knowledgable than us but its also our duty as muslims to convey the messages of Islam to all the Humanity even if its one phrase only as the Prophet(PBUH) had told us. 2- While some others know the Islamic Teachings very well and have the ability to spread the Dawa'a but they became like the nom-muslims who think that the religion is a personal matter; something that shouldn't be discussed with their brothers and sister. Like for example if they see a muslim (bro or sis) who is smoking during the fasting hours in Ramadan they won't remind/warn them. Perhaps they are afraid to be embarrased or considered as intruders. In one of the last Al-Adha Eids, my colleague at work who is a Roman Catholic Philiphina asked me what does "Al-Adha" means; so I told her the whole story about "Our Prophets Ibrahim (PBUH) and his son Esmaeel (PBUH) and that we as Muslim are following this order from Allah for 14 centuries now. Imagine, this lady has been living in UAE for 20 yrs and she was extremly surprised when she knew that Muslims believe in Abraham and Eshameel as the christians also believe. She told me she never care about Islam and had no interst to know about it but after this story she started to search and ask more about the Islam. Subxaan Allah, One word can change someone's life(Muslim or Non-muslim)to the better. Very informative article Ameena, thanx sis. Salam

I thank Allah being Somali and I thank Allah if i get that position and make them suffer like my people did... Why do you have take it this negative way. Thanking others doesnt mean to be their slave, it means appreciating what they have offered you. And this protection story you keep telling us, protecting us from what?? Protection is not only from the Outsiders (ur list 4 the banned nations) I suggest that you as an Airport Officer to first think about how Somalia can get rid of the Khaat problems, why not protecting the Somalis Airports from the Khaat dilemma they are living in since decades??!! Can you protect the Airports from the Somali traders & smugglers. Fix the internal problems in our airports and put strict policies first for the nationals, when the airport is pure and strong, start thinking about the outsiders. Strength should start from inside. You contradit yourself: First you say u wanna revenge and make elma'3'9boob 3aleehom (The Banned Nations)suffer and show them the Red Eye. then u claim that you are a religious and fair man. Religious Vs Revenge Suffering Vs Fairness You have to choose the right words which suits you more I can't say more Moti, your heart is full of hatred and revenge. Take it ezeee Sir, u will never reach anywhere with this revenge desire. Tolerance s needed brother (To-le-rance). Punish after the wrong/mistake is done and not before that. And b fair with ur rules & punishments. OG girl: It seems in some ppl's view of point you should kill the Christian Friend cause s/he killed your cat. Eye 4 an eye, u know what I Mean LOOL. ^^^ I strongly disagree with you (Plz don't shoot me for that, its my opinion, and my opinion is not a crime ) Moi Born and Bred in UAE, have no problem with the UAE government, not because of the UAE passport or not. Even when they cancelled the Visit Visa for the Somalis. Bro what are u talking about? There are thousands of Somalis who lived and still living in this country and ejoyed their living: Work, study, medication, entertainment...etc. Dubai Airport? What the hell you are saying? Dubai is the only governemt that allowed the Somalis to use their airports. Xaram caleek yakhy, b positive and look at the full half of the glass dont see the empty half only. Imagine if Dubai stopped all those Somalis who are coming from all over the world and said : NO to them, u are not gonna use our airports, you ppl without government who destroyed their country. Imagine, what would happened? Iam not gonna talk about Kuwait and KSA but I will defend UAE for sure. I don't say they are angels and perfect but still they are not demons at the same time. The same about the Westerns: Yakhy not all the westerns are bad. Think wisely OG, you need others as much as they need you. You can't live without'em. Others are not the HELL bro (Don't be a Somali Sartre ) Take it easy. Even if you wanna build a strong government you need technology,Science, education, and much more who's gonna teach you all this in order to have strong country  "Alxikmato dhaalto almuslim, aynama wajadaha faho a7aqo beha" and wisdom can be taken from the Non-muslims. And remember the best Islamic government on the earth was established by the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH)in the Madina; he didnt ban the Non-Muslims in his Islamic state, there were Jews, christians, romans, africans, Asians citizens. But he put right and just rules like: Jezyah (Taxes), agreements & treaties" anyone who break them will be punished. So don't punish others before they comit sins and crimes. You can put your own good rules for the sake of your country but they should be just and efficient. Peace

Amiin ya rab. God is great and merciful: If she is innocent and telling the truth its enough that Almighty Allah will support and defend her, if not in this life then the After-Life. But if she is guilty then its better to be punished in this life rather than being punished after death. I hope that Allah forgive her and make this trial easy on her.

Do not critize me .. be with me, help me build a nation.. beside i am a simple man and i will not accept more than the Airport officer.. peace 1- You call banning the other nationalities and rejecting them to enter our country as "Protection". Its not protection its hatred and discrimination. Besides, Mr.Og you recruited yourself as an Airport Officer, bro make yourself ready, you've got lots of works to do. The airport is one of the difficult places to work on this earth, its not about enjoying kicking otherz but also dealing with them in good manners and esteeming them. The Airport Officer is reflecting the Image of his country. "If you wanna know how a country is civlized and developed just check their Airports and that's ennuf" If you gonna kick the non-somalis and deal with them in a bad way, then excuse me you are not representing SOMALIA and nobody will recruit YOU 2- How come as an Officer you don't want to be critsized? you have to be ready for both: Critizing and Praising. Don't wait for praisings only. Peace N da Neighbourhood (Cambodia, Syria and Kuwait who are welcoming & hosting otherz with respect and love LOOL ) Salam

I believe sooner or later we will all return to our Motherland. Regardless of our different nationalities and passports, one day we will go back. There is nothing like home for sure. Taking a “Small Pharmacy†in our last visit to Somalia was the best think we did. Although, I felt so disappointed about the Medication there. It’s too obvious that the Telecommunications services are more developed and progressing more than the Health Services. There are four main telecommunications companies and the fifth company will start soon. Most of the families in Ceerigabo (My city) have the Telephone Service in their houses, some of them have even two lines from two different companies like in my cousins’ houses. I mean it’s not necessary at all to have two lines in Somalia. It’s kinda a luxurious thing. Frankly, I had a very bad image about the living standard in Somalia till I went there and changed my mind. I thought people are dying from starvation, no education, no clothes, and no entertainment. But what I had seen was completely different. They have 4 wheels cars, Telecommunications, International Satellite channels. They rent VHS tapes daily. Women are always wearing nice clothes, putting henna in their hands & feet. My mother was astonished with the traditional clothes there (dorooc). The textiles colors were so lovely and beautiful and much better than what we have in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. What is going on? Truly said “Seeing is believing†The worst thing there is the medication. SS you are talking about a Malaria patient. But it seems you didn’t hear about the wrong surgeries happening in the Medical centers/clinics there. Most of the doctors there are so motivated to do surgeries just like that. They have the guts to do surgeries although they are not well experienced. It’s so easy to them to cut and open the patients without a proper diagnosing and examination. The so-called Surgeon will do different kinds of surgeries: For eyes, kidneys, uterine, dental surgery, bladder …etc. How come can he do operations for the eyez and the bladders too??!! Its two different fields. I know the economical situation in Somalia is not helping to build specialized hospitals and to recruit experts in Medicine. But at least the healers/doctors whatever shouldn’t do any surgeries unless it’s required and the patient is examined well. Besides, they have to be sure about what they are doing for the patient’s sake not to gain money only. I had a very bad experience when I got sick. The way the doctor was inserting the injection in my veins irritated me a lot   I hope those who are investing in the Telecommunication to think wisely and consider their people’s health. Do we need five telecommunications companies  Let them build at least one good hospital with all the required doctors and equipped with all the necessary medical machines. Taking a Video Camera was so helpful and great too. I can watch my relatives and friends anytime I want and remember the good times we’d spent together. It was a great joy for my relatives who never been to Somalia and those who left the country long time ago to see how Somalia look like now. Well I don’t need to build a house. But one of my dreams is open an Internet Café with a small Library where I can put all my books and share them with others. Hope it comes true. Peace, Progress and Prosperity for our Motherland.

^^^ fery fery practical rules, Masha Allah. (Condition one: They will be taken to a camp, and we will do Dhaqan celis for 6 months then given a test to see if we can trust them to join our civilized nation..) very funny Just make it easy on yourself, How about gathering all the Somalis with Arab Bloods and burn them in a Somali Holocaust Camps and get rid of them. Its much easier than all these conditions mentioned above  I will pray two Raka'at for the Almighty Allah Thanking him cause you are not controlling the Somali Airports. Anyway, its all Dreams. Keep up the fancy dreams P.S: Just a Q, what was your breakfast today?

hmm, I watched a VHS cassette for the Opening Ceremony Party of Amoud University in Boroma. I was really impressed by an articulate, intellectual and educated man with a great sense of humor. I don't recall his name now. He was so fluent in Somali, English and Arabic. Very good in poetry and giving lectures, literature and Linquistics. Anyway, I had enjoyed watching the tape and I believe that if he is a teacher/professor then the Somali students will certainly gain knowledge from him. And if he is not a professor then I would love to meet him just 4 lil discussion and laugter
