  3. nice_guy Mine but the name is apt, very much so! Like you, I used to be such a nice person too only I was led astry..got poisened I suppose lol I guess because I lived in small town for quite a while when I visit neighboring big cities where you naturally run into lots somalis I cant help but greet and smile at every somali that bypasses me..untill this one day this duq iga jajabisay..she was the most grim, mean faced being I've ever had the displeasure of running into..and she was old she was suppose to be motherly kind and warm. After that I was like forget this gurl you dont need to greet and smile at anybody..somali or no. Nice topic KoolKat [This message has been edited by Baydan (edited 03-27-2002).]
  4. I dont think children keep the marriege from the man's side of bargain...unless he is into populating his qabiil which in the old days was the case. There is this maahmaah (somali saying) I dont remember how it goes but the gumption of it is that..well uhm children are realy not what "keep" the man lol..I'll make it a point to ask my neighbor lady how it went. On a serious note- It is tough situation...realy there is nothing better off than taking refuge in your imam when something like that arises...if there is strong love between the couple. If not move on to the next..no reason why you should tie yourself up with a barren spouse..specially if the fault is his or her.

  10. WsWrWb Sis consult your doctor..tell them how excuriating the pain is for you...I know of a pill they subscribe you cant simply buy it from the drugstor..very powerful..puts to sleep right away. It is also loaded with side effects from pregnancy complication to fatigue to blury-eyes. Best advice though ...grind your teeths and chuck it up.

Shaqsi Thanks for confirming what my sensible mind have always suspected. Commonsense used to tell me that a person just doesnt waste atleast six hours of his time chewing & spitting testeless CALEEN. Ofcrouse they're getting their times worth...freaking drugists.
  13. We are africans we are blacks. The only commonality we share with carabs is religion. Our aqualine features and relatively softer hair does not in anyway make us look less africanish or more arabic. We still people of dark complexion ..hance Africans and proud we shall be [This message has been edited by Baydan (edited 03-22-2002).]
  14. Mr.Jibril First of all let me tell you that I'm glad your topic of interest have taken another route..U've tired & over obused that somali-women threat(about 7pg? lol). Now now dear no need to get your back all up and stiff..this is just your annoying Baydan..incase you havent noticed i'm a little acentric and this is how I show love back to topic I'm rendered speechless to be truthful I wasnt aware Eritreans claimed to be people of Jabarti ancestory..But then I've always thought Eritreans were "lost" Somalis that somehow generations of inter-marriage with the xabashis and other ethiopian clans gradually became separate entity. So who knows could be...

  17. Buubto and LF you all forget to add my favorite maahmaah Qooq ma jabee ninkiisaa (in this case, naagtiisa) jabta. Fartun, sista macaanto we dont mean to be harsh but becuz we care we gotta put everthing on the table...life isnt always hazy and beautiful. If you marry this man you might as well give yourself up to this country.. is that what you want? to stay here indefinetly?...your kids wont have place or identity back home..they will be descriminated. You said he the only man you've ever known? I'm thinking you're speaking in the contaxt of just getting to know a guy...nothing else right? well in my opinion sis, that's all the more reason why you should forget about him..go out girl date somali guys..from the forum if you must i'm sure we could set you up with one of the guys here then if you still feel like he is "the one"..atleast you've tried.
