  1. Buraanburka xitaa wuu qasmaa marka shisheeyo soo galo meesha. I am no expert on that subject though. Waar is guursada waxaad guursataanba, guur is not only healthy for everyone (well...almost every one), it makes one's life verygood.

Can you explain to me "the ethiopians simply cant risk conflicts btw those two". Ethiopia wants neither Puntland nor Somaliland crashed to the ground. It wants things to stay the way they are so they can take orders from her. That is why it doesn't want to see war between the two entities. Ethiopia wants neither strong Somalia nor total chaos in Somalia. It wants mini states that can keep the peace in its borders but won't be big enough to have a say on any thing. The status quo is working great for Meles, Somaliduse are too busy on one another to see that big picture. that is why Ethiopia doesn't want to recognize Somaliland as a separate country because it knows the minute it does, the chances of orders being taken from Addis would be slim. You feeling me?
  3. Mid 36 la galo baa jiro haddii la khaldamo but that is a different topic . Kidding. Sometime our eyes misread things so it is all good.
  4. ^LOOL@Durbaanyo, I think she said turubyo. Turub ma ciyaari taqaanaa horta Caaliyaay? KK, I totally see your point. It is really tough regardless how you look at it. The most misleading maah maah in Somali is "Qof aad saacad ku baran weyday, sanad kuma baratid". People can hide their true colors when in they are in the shukaansi/guur mode. LOL@your lil' note to yourself.

  6. LOL@Jacphar waa ZAAZ. KK, I partially agree with you on that as I stated in my first post in this thread. Cousins, first or seventh, should never get hitched to one another, that is just terrible thing to do. My point was more of.. again background wise. You should know 25% of this person's personality and that is next to impossible if you are marrying someone whose background you know nothing about. Let me give you an example, say you are from XYZ Xaafad of ABC town (and by from, I mean you were raised there) and your soulmate is from that same xaafad. The chances of you knowing that person's real personality are much higher than your chances of knowing the real personality of another faarax/xalimo whom you have met in a local Walmart and have dated with for couple of years. Ninka kale diiqiisa meesha uu kasoo cabbi jiray baa garaneysaa. The one you met in the starbucks/School/work can hide a lot from you even though you think you know them. I have seen it happen.
  7. KK, Waligaa ma maqashay maahmaahdan: "Qof aad taqaano hal ceeb baad kaga carartaa, qof aadan aqoonina 10 ceeb baa ugu gashaa"?

But at least you will have some seddex awoow background. When I said qabiil wise, macrifattu qaddiim oo qabiil aheyn wey soo geli.
  10. ^oo hadda garoob baa tahay? War baa ka dhacay. As for the topic, don't get married to somebody that is too close to you, you don't want to have children with 3 heads and 8 legs. Don't even try somebody that is too far as far as qabiil wise coz you don't know what u r getting yourself into. Dhex dhexaad is the best.
  11. ^Is it the dude that said he used to live in Russia? The civil engineer?

Like I said, waxaa meesha ka dhex muuqda ragii ugu soo horeeyay stateka qaarkood so I know they do know a great deal of it laakiin perhaps the question was narrowed to Minneapolis. I hear you sxb, they pretty much told us why they love Minneapolis, rather than MN. Aaliyah, thanks sis! P.s. One person actually mentioned 24. LOL
  14. ^qaxoonti my rear end. These people are in their motherland and need no approval from nobody.

I know right. I liked it too. @7:47, yea sh3 called her self Nimko.. i guess that is how the Americans pronounce nimco, she went by that lol.
  16. Working in a meat factory is a work, for your information.
  17. Why is that bad? One is lucky to live in a blue collar state than a white collar one or so they say.
  18. Jacphar they should have interviewed you on this video, you would have contributed a lot to it. The 10, 000 lakes are indeed good for fishing. I once stayed at Mankato for a week and had the opportunity to catch couple of fishes illegally. I am glad I didn't get caught coz I had no fishing license.
  19. Now why do u love where u live?
