Taleexi, well said. Sometimes people need to look at the bigger picture. War walaahi I don't give a BIG F even if all ministers are from one sub sub clan in Xiiman. Qualifications, clan lineage excluded, should be the focus. I find it very disgusting and disturbing that anyone would be against anything today (remember this is aint 1991, this is 2011 - after 20 years of suffering) that would help this failed nation get f out the mess it is in just because one of their boys is not part of it. Did that Abdikarim dude of your clan did anything for the people of SSC? I doubt it. Neither Xalane, Xidig gaandhi for my sub clan when they were ministers. Why would it bother me or bother you if these men are excluded from the new ministers? Yaab yaabkiis... Duke, I just can't imagine Sharif Sakin and Sharif Weak letting Abdiwali do his things. We shall see.

NASSIR;735404 wrote: Sure, Mr. ONLF. For a guy who advocates for a clannish organization that maims and kills innocent Somalis, I sure agree with you the state that was known as Somalia is in ruins and therefore needs your help and that of your community. But seriously Zack, You are being disingenous in here in that your notion to turn the other cheek smacks of indifference. Then let's scrap this whole clannish formula known as 4.5.. Ma waxaan ku mooday mise waxaad noqotay mise waxaan loo noqon doonin! It is very shameful for a grown up man to come over here and whine about his sub sub clan not getting a minister. Head to that way -------------------------> for all the cryings. As for your cheapshots agains the ONLF, at least don't lie. P.s. I do respect the Maakhir people and their sheikh, Atom. However, I will call out on any rubbish I see regardless who is uttering it. "My clan didn't get a post" is the crappiest thing anyone could come up with specially in a time where the country is facing natural disaster, i.e. famine on the top of the man-made chaos. Now say it with me, "I hope the best for the new ministers!", "And the for the country". "Regardless if my qabiil gets a minister".

Abdul;735383 wrote: Duke: There is no hope for somalia when people like you get soo excited because a clan member is a pm.you used to attack farmajo for what reason? We all knew he was doing his best. And now look at you.you are dancing like there is no tomorrow.Shame on you LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL . This is like slam dunking in one's face when a one-on-one basketball session is in place. We don't know much about Abdiwali and what he is capable of doing yet but we sure hope the best for him and for the country. Duke's excitement is BAU. By default, fellow clan members are awesome without basing it anything else. After being against the Sharif-led TFG when Farmajo was the PM, all of the sudden (out of no where) some people here are genuine, die-hard supporters of the TFG when Abdiwali came on board. Speaking of the new ministers, I only know of one of them so no comment. We are not aware of who really nominated them, just because Ibbi, Juriile, or Abdikarim aren't in it, we can't assume that the two Sharifs had a say on their appointment. The news will unfold in the coming days. Midda kale, why do I have a feeling that most SOLers were rushing to know the clans of these gentlemen and lady LOL? Good Saalax even went to Galgalanews.com to hunt down what clans these people belong to .

Somaliland: Telecommunication companies agree on Interconnection
The Zack replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
Xunjuf, you don't get the point. Wireless Companies' agreement is bad for the consumers. They will raise the price and they will cease being competitive. -
Heedhe are you still looking for a religion, Johnnyoow(magacyadii Somalida iyo Islaamka waa ka cararay si aan islaam loogu maleen, tolow yaa u sheega in "John" yahay a biblical name).

^Using one's dialect si aad u dhaadhaajiso is offensive. It's like qouting faroole's words as this: " Heedhe ba'aa booweyaal, heedhe kalluunka bal i dhiib, heedhe halkakan Garoowe weeye" . Constructive comment would've done it. Even though I agree with you on what you said, I think you could've have delivered your position in a nicer way. Nevertheless, carry on haddaab tidhi iska naso.

EDIT: Qandalawi, you just used very offensive and insulting words. Isku xishoo.

Who is abdi cawar?

JB, u kinda agree with Faroole, right? I thought so, I agree with him.

Naasirow, blame the 4.5 formula, Farmaajo didn't create that formula. My cousins in Xagar didn't get their own minister and you didn't see them complianing , Abdikarim of the Transportation Industry and Abdiweli, the PM, are representing your folks sxbkey. Some are posting images of their leaders' leaders, good stuff!

Jacpher;735019 wrote: Faroole says Xamar hal qabiil baa leh. So sacrilegious for him to utter such blasphemous words. Faroole may be guilty of many things but Moqdisho hal qabiil baa daga? Seriously? I don't think Faroole coined "Xamar unukaa leh", "Beesha Moqdisho", "Odayaasha Beelaha Xamar", "Qabiilada Xamar daga". All these terms were in use way before Faroole got involved in Somali politics. We are talking about as far back as 91 and as recent as this year, Muqdisho elders were selling everyone in the country a certain folk are the rightful owners of Muqdisho. Is it the unwritten rule that a non-member Muqdisho's supposed owner shouldn't utter such a thing in public? Ma sheekadii dhex tiilay black America and white America baa meesha taal. A black man can say a certain word for all he wants but if a white man says it, it's so offensive that the world must come to an end. So huge deal that Farool repeated the same old phrase that many of Moqdisho said it many times. Time to get out of your little bubble. Moqdisho isn't a sacred place. It is not what it once used to be or represented in the eyes of the Somali public. Many still yearn it but you can't blame them for what Moqdisho leaders do. So yes, Faroole is right. It is not safe and many of its leaders have claimed it as theirs and been fighting to control it for two decades. I couldn't agree with you more, Xamar is now one clan city. That fact can't be denied any more. Who wants to buy a house in Xamar after what happened in 1991? I surely don't intend to do so. Faroole has a point this time .

^LOL. I see where you are coming from now. Just to interpret what you are saying into plain English: Farmaajo didn't give a ministerial to Reer Maakhir thus he did blunder on his choices. Am I correct? I think, my friend, Farmaajo has done great job in his choices because they did make a difference. After all, aint that what we are all after. Look at the big picture, sxb, the big picture. Personally, I seriously don't if no O shows up in the ministries as long as they qualify for the job and can/will get the country out of the mess.

NASSIR;734706 wrote: As far as the formation of the cabinet is concerned, the same blunder made by Dr. ABDIWALI's predecessor might not be repeated even if the efforts to wean off some clans from their al-Shabab leanings don't succeed. You think Farmaajo's choice of ministers was wrong?

Chelsea need to bring in new middle fielders if they want to grasp that beautiful trophy. I hope this AVB dude doesn't get fired at the end of the season. Arsenal are going down for sure and City are not real contenders (at least not yet) for the cup, it will be another Red Devils vs the Blues year.

Who cares about what Israel does to Iran or vice versa? Somalidan baan la yaabay.

Finance Minister,Hussein Abdi Halane, has been fired by Shariif Sakiin. According to the news I am receiving from back home, Shariif Sakin has finally succeeded in firing Xalane. This, according to this same news, was the main reason the TFG ministerial appointments have been postponed several times. Adeer Xalane has done great job while he held that position but obviously has failed to impress the Sakiin. Even though Halane made some unpopular decision while in in office, he was one of the main men behind Farmaajo admin's success as far as fighting against the corruption in the TFG. I was also told that Xalane was offered another post, i.e. Minister of Transportation but he turned that offer down claiming that he didn't want to be a "magac-u-yaal" wasiir. Speaking of Halane, the man has just been promoted to a member of board of directors in the SAVE the Children. La soco waxii soo cusboonaado..
