Narniah, good point, very good point but keep in mind this is nothing against her. Lool@Juxa or I will just not tell her I am married ehe. Ameen to your dua, thanks! All will be fine, this feeling will go away sooner than later.

I know I said I was afraid at some point in this thread but I meant to say I just don't have the right feeling about this change. I totally understand that there will be 0 issues, I just have a weird feelings about it.

Choc, I see what you are saying on the emoticons and you are correct they can misinterpreted some times. You should have carried on and finished your last sentence, middeeda kale hee? Ibti, I know that...the person's personality has nothing to do (well it does some times, I.e. men don't roll their eyes lol) with their gender, it is the feeling. It was one of those firsts that is causing the issue here. Juxa, islaanta cashir baad u qortay yaah, qeylada iney halkaas gaadho ma aheyn inaan badgekeeda siiso oo iska baxdo aheyd.e

As I said one of my bosses waa islaan qafiif qabta, she appreciates hard work and says well done (obviously anigu i am exceptionally good at my job:) ), with the rest you learn to deal with it. I would say lady bosses are tough on women employees, dont know why tho. having said that, anigu i would fire you on the first day, just si aan murqahayga dadka utuso, yacni example baan kaa dhigi lahaa, in this case waaba istaahishaa for holding wrong perceptions about women and their abilities to lead. Loooooooool@I would fire you on the first day, Aggah! Just what I was thinking! Haweeney hakaa sareeyso dhibkeedey leedahay : D Seriously though, I have seen women reporting to women and the reportees were being bossed around for sure. Not sure why they do that. Adiga yes ma'am-ta ugu dadaal qoftan kaa sareeyso anigu my plan is to add lots of emoticons and smiley faces to the emails I send to my new "boss" .

There is Outlook, that is where all my work related tasks are at. I also have a huge white board in my office. I don't forget any thing lol.

^one of Africa' s worst dictators, he needs ousted asap. -
Plus most of the stuff he mentioned are not just used by "Somalilanders" , it is used by ALL reer koraads including myself. I say gabadh and not gabar and I am from somewhere that is very far from the enclave. VIVA SOMALIA Now,what was the difference we should feel?

^Qashiin fooqul qashiin, qashiinimada meesha kala bax. And please think of your lovely mom and sisters when you are bad-mouthing women in general. They bleed twice kulahaa.. yaa u sheega if it wasn't that "bleeding", your sorry *** wouldn't have been brought to this world.

Malika;750683 wrote: Zack, Mustafe's advice sounded like your going to be those what Malcom X called - yard black men or was it house boys?..When asked to jump they asked how high sir! ..lol. War just be yourself, do your job and stop acting as if your about to enter slavery. bisinka! Lol.. am still laughing at Mustafe's advice - is sure sounded like the dude has experienced oppression of some sort... Malika I know right!!! He was like when she looks at you look at the another direction because you never know what mood she might be in at that exact moment LOL. He made them like my 3 year old nephew who for some unknown reasons gets mad when he wishes.
-
^Loooooooool and Loooooooool rageedii great advice there. Quick question, so the mood changes huh? Is there a reason for that?
-
^ It looks like majority of the men, Aaliyah, Malika and some newbies believe that this will be no cool at all LOL. Juxa and co agree that women are much more by the book than their counterparts. Che and Chocolate think I am a sexist. JB is just saqajaan la kor dhabay and FB seems to hit on his boss ladies LOL. Here is the thing, I am not so much worried about the strictness of rules or any thing like that, it is more of knowing that I will be subordinate to my opposite sex for the first time LOL. NGONGE and AT&T do understand where I am coming from.. It is tough man, I am telling ya! Nuune tries to ignore the whole "boss lady" thing because he can't believe it at all, waa dadkii hore duqa.

LOL@its 2011. First welcome to SOL, this is your first post? nice! So the question of the thread was "Have you ever had a female boss?" or are you speaking from theoritical point of view?
-
Regardless of your gender, have you ever had a good female boss? OK, let me rephrase the question, have you ever had a female boss? How was the experience lol? I am not trying to be sexist or anything, I am just curious. Wanna know why? For the first time in my ENTIRE adult life, my boss will now be a woman, it will be effective on Oct. 31st, 2011 . This is very wierd to me, not sure how this will work. Even though she and I are going to work from different states ( she is in Georgia and I am not), this still feels odd . I am afraid of this

^I doubt they will ever come back up.

I was shocked when I learned this bad news. The most genius man on earth is gone. The innovator of iPhone, iPod, iPad is gone. The man who changed how the music world operated has left this world. Innovation is not something one learns, one is born with it, Apple and its fans will suffer. The prices of Apple shares are already going down as of yesterday, some analysts are blaming it on the announcement of the iPhone 4S but I believe it has something to do with the death of Steve. The smart world will miss this man, however, I doubt the world will go back to Bill Gates prison.
