  3. Che, what is this? Some kind of setup? Waan arkaa qofkaad u codeysay, the votes should be secret, we should only be able to see the results, not who voted who. Sanduuqan iska cad waa maxay? I almost told two girls I voted for them, saad ii ceebeyn gaadhay bal eeg Doorashadan waan qaadaceynaa hadii kale.

Who do you think I am? a Somali MP? Can we change our candidate? I don't think Nuune can represent us. He doesn't support the holy Azania. AT&T noogu baddal. Midda kale I see a lot of newbies in there, at least not regulars. This looks the thread of the year more than the nomad of the year.
  5. ^LOL . Is this you? The dude looks not so ready to make that canjeero. See how is keeping his polished shoes away from that cajiin? P.s. What are pair of scissors doing in the kitchen LOL. Right above the bir canjeerada.

  7. I see it is based on the 4.5 system which is totally fine but the audience should've been given the option to vote for "Other" and nominate their own candidate. Regardless, I shall consult my staff and advisers and eventually vote for whoever I think deserves my vote. Of course, I will wait how these people campaign and offer something to me, i.e. $.

I see Zack has become Kikuyu propagandist. so now whoever attacks shabaab is a Kenyan sympathizer? What is this, are u back to the khawaarij supporter you have been? Are u going to tell us how cool the killing of fellow Muslims is? Go ahead.
  10. burahadeer;758259 wrote: this was official extermination policy with the seal of the gov't, signed by a president & carried out by his subordinates & generals. Why is it a crime If some people want to bring to justice those who commited atrocites againest them.Otha somalis should do the same. Criminal of yesteryear will sit in the cabinet tomorrow......somali way Crimes are crimes regardless if they were ordered by a president or by a kaabbo qabiil. We have no problem if the criminals are being brought to "justice" ( I have yet to see a single person on trial for any Somali crime by the way, even after 20 years. maybe in 100?), what we have problem is the inconsistency of the accusations. If you are going to blame Kacaankii, don't tie it to specific qabiil. Many Somalis have worked for Siyad, bring them all to justice. At least start with the ones in town. The funnies thing is when the employees of the Kacaanka claim that they want their employers on trial. Good example, Riyaale and Siilaanyo. They both worked for Kacaankii and deserve to be tried. Don't you think?
  11. ^Probably pro Shabaab as it is spreading shabaab propoganda. it is true, Afgooye has been attacked but this piece is nothing but a pure fabricated one. The missile has hit a shabaab military camp in Afgoye where Godane, Aweys and co were meeting. This is a good news, the best case scenario those dogs are both dead by now. Worst case scenario, they will be scared to death and will never show up in public places any more lol.
  12. 21 years after the day the Kacaankii barakeysnaa had collapsed, 16 years after the death of Barre, some are still bitter. Let the gone be by gone waryeey! If Kacaankii was preventing you to do anything with your life and land, the good Kacaan has been gone for more than 2 decades. Understand that. One last note, Somalis, regardless what parts of the country they are from and/or their clan, have been victimized by other Somalis one way or another and it seems the fellas at north are the only ones that keep reminding us what "happened" to them. I haven't seen a single person from Baydhabo complain about the massacre their people suffered in the 1990's, neither have I met somebody from Bosaaso, Gedo, or Kismayo tell me how their families have been tortured. I have not heard anybody from Xarardheere or Balcad tell me how their homes have been taken and their grandmothers killed in front of them . I haven't received a calaacal email from someone in Marka Caddeey and Qoryoley about how other Somalis have taken over their farms and killed their children all in the name of qabiil. Yet, Jaceylbaro reminds us how his people have been murdered by other Somalis 17 times a year. Waa cajiib.
  13. Best song in the last decade! Voted by none other than me lol Enjoy it..
  14. ^You are 21 or younger? I don't buy it. You know too much about Somali politics for a say wallaahi.
  15. I see what you are saying. That will be tough. Laakiin hadda yaa hayo when you are away to work? You probably drop them to a day care center or to hooyo's house. That trend shall continue and you will have zero issues. If they are watched at your place by someone else, then working from home is next to impossible.
  16. Juxa, lool I wish. Notice how I have the word office in quotations? Meel umbaa madaxa lala galaa.
  17. OK, I think y'all took the "work from home" thing to another level when y'all tried it. It is next to impossible to work from the family living/dining room. Distractions, qeylo and qas will take over your concentration BUT if someone has an office at home, (well something that looks like an office, a quite place that nobody will try to distract even ciyaalka) it shouldn't be as hard. You might still not be able to focus as you normally would do in the first few weeks but you can get used to it. Not only it is doable, it is actually enjoyable. Who can beat having the opportunity to work while wearing your PJ's/Macawis/Baati? LOOOL@Nin yaaban. Juxa, sax u sheeg.
  18. ECONOMY – RANKED 104th Despite high levels of growth and relative optimism about their economic future, Ethiopia faces very high levels of unemployment and dissatisfaction. Ethiopia’s economy faces severe challenges. Inflation runs at over 8% and the gross domestic savings rate is only 4% of GDP, comfortably placing Ethiopia in the bottom 30 of the Index on the latter variable. The unemployment rate is almost 21%, which is the sixth highest rate, globally**. Ethiopia places 69th* in terms of affordability of food and shelter, and only four out of 10 people* are satisfied with their standard of living, which places the country 91st in the Index on this variable. Only one in three* people believe that job market opportunities are improving, although the average citizen believes that general economic conditions are getting better*; the country ranks in the top half of the Index with respect to economic expectations. This is consistent with an average increase in GDP per capita of almost 8% annually between 2005 and 2009. There is, however, limited potential for additional growth: capital per worker in Ethiopia is the fourth lowest worldwide, and the country places 76th in terms of market size. At 4%, the proportion of manufactured exports that come from high-tech sectors is very low and non-performing loans account for over 5% of total bank loans. The fact that less than half* of Ethiopians have confidence in the country’s financial institutions, reflects this. However, more positively, the country is attractive as a destination for foreign direct investment. No data on self-reported employment were available. ENTERPRENEURSHIP & OPPORTUNITY – RANKED 108th Ethiopia’s weak communications infrastructure and low access to opportunity inhibits entrepreneurship and limits innovation. Income from royalty receipts is low at just over 2.2 million USD, and there is virtually no investment in R&D. ICT goods account for less than 1% of total manufactured exports. Ethiopians ability to start and run a business is highly limited: business start-up costs are high at 14% of GNI per capita, and communication infrastructure is weak with only five mobile phones for every 100 citizens. Furthermore, on both internet provision variables – internet bandwidth and number of secure internet servers – Ethiopia places in the bottom 10 of the Index. What little wealth exists is relatively concentrated: inequality across different socio-economic groups, in terms of education, jobs, and economic status, is among the 20 most pervasive in the world. Possibly as a consequence of this, just 85%* of the population believe that they can get ahead in life by working hard, which places Ethiopia in the bottom half of the Index on this variable. Data on perceptions of the local entrepreneurial environment were not available.
  19. Ethiopia Ranks 108 out of 110 Countries in Prosperity Index Ethiopia is among the bottom three countries in an index that measures prosperity as a function of both income and well-being for 110 countries. According to the 2011 Legatum Prosperity Index, Ethiopia ranks 108 out of 110 countries – merely above Zimbabwe and Central African Republic (CAR), both Zimbabwe and CAR are among the top ten failed states in the world (According to the 2011 Foreign Policy/Fund for Peace Failed States Index, Zimbabwe ranks the 6th, CAR the 8th, Ethiopia the 19th failed states.)
  20. All these years Zenawi was telling his Tigray cousin and the rest of the world that he is country is growing very fast economically. Well.. oh well.. guess what? The MTF was effing lying. Read the details in the below posts.. Ethiopia is still the starving country we all knew in the 1980's, Ye Derg Gize. Very hungry country, popular in hunger and rafaad. Ranked the 3rd (from the bottom of the list).. LOL ECONOMY – RANKED 104th ENTERPRENEURSHIP & OPPORTUNITY – RANKED 108th GOVERNANCE – RANKED 101st EDUCATION – RANKED 107th SAFETY & SECURITY – RANKED 106th Source: http://www.prosperity.com/country.aspx?id=ET
  21. ^ :D nin waalan. This was a random article I read on some website, it has nothing to with me or my boss other than the general "work from home" thing. P.s. yes she is very nice
