What I can tell you is the ONLF haven't backed down from their three original conditions on any agreement... not just yet. These three conditions are: 1. The talks have to be held in a neutral country 2. An international body ,i.e. the UN and neutral countries have to be present when the agreement is being reached. 3. A referendum has to take place in the Og'aden on whether the region should remain a part of Ethiopia or become independent. Ethiopia has always insisted the all talks should be held inside Ethiopia. They have never accepted to talk to the ONLF in another country but this time it appears things have changed. We shall see.

The only agreement that will be deemed significant is an agreement that will be signed by the Ethiopian regime recognizing Somali Galbeed as a region not part of Ethiopia, just like how the Addis Ababa regime of Meles Zenawi recognized Eritrea as a region not part of Ethiopia. You are somewhat correct, however, there is a Somali saying that goes like "Haddii aad waxaad rabto weydo, waxii something something..."

  4. Yep, you read that right and you read it here. The talks have started several weeks ago. Kenya appears to be the mediator but the British government is heavily involved. Most of the information I have is still classified but I am sharing only the parts that have been leaked to some local media outlets. 2012 is definitely going to be different. Stay tuned for more.... EDIT: ONLF's three conditions since 1984 for any agreement are: 1. The talks have to be held in a neutral country 2. An international body ,i.e. the UN and neutral countries have to be present when the agreement is being reached. 3. A referendum has to take place in the Og'aden on whether the region should remain a part of Ethiopia or become independent.
  5. ^Usheeg xariifka ilbaxnimada uu khalad ka fahmee. Berina I prayed in the church aa soo socoto.
  6. Everyone is after their own interest. Faroole and the entire D block are for choosing the parliament based on districts and states, the rest (Sakiin, Canbe and Caalin) are for the 4.5 system. - See how these three are all on one side? It is not coincidence, they know they are ripping others off LOL. Common sense tells me (and no I am not siding with one side) that the 4.5 formula is just wrong. Let's be honest, how is it fair for Bay & Bakool to get same number of MP's as Gedo, Upper Jubba, Lower Jubba, Bari, Nugaal, more than half of Mudug, Sool, Sanaag and half of Galgaduud all combined? Bal ii sheega... They are not comparable both geographically and population wise. Down 4.5!
  7. ^ : D he needs to be closer than a Somali to get that kind of treatment.

You have no answers whatsoever. You have no stances to defend, you are against all, even shabaab. You live on dreams and miracles. Solers, carefully watch what this guy comes back with. On every thread, all he does is ask about and question people's stances when he has none. Waligii mucaarad!

The sheer hypocrisy is unbelievable. Your stupid1ty is unbelievable. The zack didn't complain, the zack asked questions and received answers.
  10. I heard there are more than a few duqa. The whole conference is being guarded by AMISOM. So I heard.
  11. So the dude doesn't trust the puntland army? He doesn't carry them when he goes to Nairobi.
  12. So I am being told AMISOM troops are in Garowe to keep the conference secure, is this true? Where the hell is the Puntland army? Who normally keeps the place safe?
  13. How does a country make an agreement with itself. Cajiib! I mean I get the Jabuuuti part but....

No other institution can better personificate the state and put in practice the enforcement of law, protect property and reduce crime, then the Police. The best army in the world cant do the work of a policeman. President Sheick Shariif has done a good job, far better then most have expected. Therefor all those who have mocked him and called his Presidency a failure can now apologize publicy on SOL and . People Like General Duke, Ngonge, Zack , Xaaji Xunjuf, etc, etc should admit how wrong they were on this men. LOOOOOL Dude are you for real! The police were around all the effing time! They were round during A. Mahdi, Qasim and Yusuf. Nothing new there. Maaddeey said it all.
  15. How is the project of seceding a thing of the past when Somaliland is not an internationally recognized state? Good Carafat thinks that Somaliland has been a country for 20 some years when no single country in this entire world recognizes it even today. Love it or hate it, you, Mr.Carafat, are a secessionist To be fair to him, Carafat still has a Somaliweyn belief in him. This is according to his many posts.

The Haud is of indeterminate extent; some authorities consider it denotes the part of Ethiopia east of the city of Harar."
  17. No offense but can someone please tell me where Hawd is located? Is this a new state or town or something?
