LOL@Cialis, now that is not a brand an average Faarax should know. Taleexi caadi ma aha. Now
  2. ^What? I think you clicked on the wrong link. The one I posted should take you to a site that has multiple pictures of African Paradise Restaurant and their food menu. P.s. African paradise is a Somali restaurant but its customers are from backgrounds from caddaan to indhoyar to madow to yellow.
  3. ^Magaalo kasta makhaayad gaaban wey ku taalaa LOL. Check this one out. EDIT- African Paradise - One of the best in Columbus
  4. Aaliyah, I give you that. Toronto is the New York version of Canada. Even though that statement is an insult to NY LOL.
  5. ^LOL. War waan tagay meeshaas. It is about 50 min drive from the twin cities mid baa maalin nagu qasbay inaan tagno. LOL@Iskaabulo tuulooyinkaas ku rafaaday. I wouldn't consider Columbus, Ohio as a tuulo.

  7. ^LOOOL@Degmada yar ee Faribault. Meeshaas makhaayad bas ah ma aha. Waa makhaayad/Dukaan dhar iibiyo/Halaal Meat Market/Xawaalad. Meeshaas waan ka yaabay.

  9. Dabshid, I once went to this restaurant in Nashville and we had to walk out because of the crap they tried to feed us as a food. Qashin bey nagu dili gaadheen. Of all restaurants I have ever been to, Hamdi of Toronto has by far the best Somali food I have ever tasted.
  10. Originally posted by Som@li: I wonder if he dines at all these restaurants for free Exactly.. anaaba $2 u diri lahaa oo u dhaama.

  12. ^OO Kuwaad free ku keentaye oo qofna ku weydiisane tan lagu weydiistay maxaad u diidi? War ninku xaasidsanaa
  13. LOOL MMA - Maalintii bariiska miyaa? I have been to five of the restaurants you posted but I didn't know Milwaukee had a Somali Makhaayad. I was there for two weeks for work. P.s. Find me one in Albuquerque, New Mexico if you can. Heading there in this December IA.
  14. LOL@the title of the thread. Keith will easily beat Lynne, that is for sure. The community in the 5th district do know better.
  15. ^Haddii 43 xildhibaan ay yidhaahdeen "Ma dooneyno in la arko inaan ku codeyno haa ama maya", miyeysan xaq u laheen in codkooda sidaas qarsoodiga ah ku dhiibtaan?
  16. ^Dagaalkaas iyo qeyladaas waa wax ka caadi ah goob kasto oo ay "xildhibaanada" Soomaaliya ku codeynayaan. Markey xitaa wax yar oo macna laheyn u codeynayaan sidaas bey u buuqaan. Waxaanse la yaabay waxaa loo diidahayo codka qarsoodiga ah LOL - timir laf baa ku jirta!

LST, I don't have exact numbers either but like Abdiladif said, it is just another Somali city. Amharas live there but they are not that many. I would say more than 80% are Somalis. This based on what I have seen the last time I went there which was more than a decade ago. I find this interesting: Jig-jiga has enjoyed postal service since 1923, and had telephone service by 1956
  18. ^Loool@waraa ku moog...that dude has no place in the Somali politics, taas ani iga qor. As far as meesha waxbuu ka baddalay oo wuu hormariyay umbaa la gurayaa, people need to understand that the entire BBC programmes have changed during his time and the Somali branch just mirrored those changes. There are no major things that a mere branch editor can change.
  19. Haatu, That's a one nice car..not that I am saying I would drive it but its very nice. P.s. changing gears here, ever wonder why most Somalis in the U.S. drive Toyota Camry? Waan yaabnay.
