MMA, are u kidding me? Somalis in east africa are estimated to be about 20M. About 5m of them live in Ogdenia and more than 90 percent of those use "dh" in their dialect . Bari and Waqooyi combined are also more than 6m, those also would never say "galayr". You following me so far? The entire country of Djibouti is on the same boat as the above two. The same applies to Gedo, Galgaduud, and Mudug. Those combined make roughly more than 65% of the Somali population. And to answer your other question, yes reer bari use "dh". As a matter of fact they even kill words that should be pronounced as "r" with their funny "dh" accent. Tusaale: normally, you would say "ma iga tagi kartaa, walaal?" But they would say "ma iga tagi kaDHaa, walal?". So they love their "dh". A reer bari dude would never say "gabar baan rabaa!". LOL. And of course there are few bari/western towns that would always have different dialects than that.
