  1. There is no question that Chelsea won't win it this year. It will be either Manchester United or its neighbor and nobody else. Poor Liverpool have been gang-raped by Blackburn.
  2. LOL@kabo kutukade.. mayee Asagoo-Qaawan-Qabeeste.. :D Islaanta kuwa kufsaday hala kufsado ayagana, do u guys agree? Eye for an eye, right?
  3. Duke is stating the truth when he said Somalilanders have very few number of their community in the US. Just like in Somalia, there aren't that many Khaldaanis in this country. However, Somalina has a point and Duke is dead wrong on claiming Puntlanders are the majority here. If anyone argues about those facts, I will come back and kick their *** with figures and official data. LOL.
  4. Chimera;685254 wrote: That's not collaborating, that's a smart tactic in warfare where you are enabled to replenish your ranks and rearm your military. Keep it in persepective; the British launched four major military expeditions against the Dervish , which they repulsed, and remember that one such British expedition saw the conquest of Ethiopia and the death of its ruler Tewedros II (if the British wanted to colonize Ethiopia, they could have easily done so then). The Sayyid simply used this treaty to import weapons through Illig, which is why a few years later a revitalised Dervish force was back on the scene. He however never paid tribute, never allowed any of his troops to assist either the British, Italians or the Ethiopians, hence he can't be a collaborator. Also your comparison with Al-Shabaab is a fallacy. The Dervish are legendary for having had a Pan-Somalist dream, the Shabab have an Al-Qaeda agenda, the Dervish were funded by local Somalis who believed in their cause, the Shabab are funded by wealthy Saudi devils, The Dervish did not stone victims, unlike the Shabab. The Dervish were all-inclusive with members from all major clans and they had no problems co-operating with other Somali entities, Al-Shabaab sees everything as non-muslim Somalis and muslim Somalis. The Dervish fought their enemies far away from civilians in the open plains and bushes, on the other hand the Shabab throw mortars in residential areas and inspire backlashes from the Barbaric foreigners, which is responsible for the death of thousands of civilians. The Dervish left behind a rich architectural legacy, the Shabab till this day have not constructed a single architectural marvel. Apples & Oranges. To the deluded Xaaji Xunjuf, the Dervish were far from finished, they would build one of Africa's largest Fortress Complexes in Somalia, and many more across the Horn, they were respected worldwide for their resistance against European powers, they had representatives in Berlin and Istanbul and were recognised by these empires as a country in East Africa, and were a regional power to be reckoned with, Whether its forcing the British for the first time in their empire's history to retreat to small coastal enclaves, to establishing schools across the South, or Dervish troops going to Yemen to assist the Ottoman Pasha. The Sayyid despite dominating the O-gaden managed to entice the future King of Ethiopia to become a muslim, he made plans with the Germans who would recognise any territory he were to conquer in East Africa. He was creating a strong Somali State, ten years before Atta Turk would in Turkey, but the British for the first time on African soil employed aeroplanes, which saw the collapse of the Dervish State. This still wasn't the end of the Sayyid, he was regrouping and would have returned to re-establish the movement if he had not fallen ill to influenza. Nevertheless he was never captured and therefore spared the humiliation of being a captive like the great Omar Mukthar of Libya, who was paraded around like a piece of toy. This sums it up! It also sets the record straight, I got nothing to add to that.

  6. LOL@Somali peace conference. For who? Does Faroole think that Al-shabaab want a peace?
  7. People, You don't need to say "Happy New Year" to each other because that is not part of Islam. "Lil Muslimiina Ciidaan" (Muslims have TWO holidays - Fitr and Adxa) is a Saxiix Hadith from our Prophet(Peace up on him). Please let us not neglect our precious deen, little things such as celebrating non-Islamic holidays can turn into huge things. I have seen Muslim brothers/sisters saying "Merry Christmas" and "Happy New Year" to their follow co-workers.Some even host parties for these events. Cajiib. If we customize our deen to meet friends' expectations or even look cool and what so we will put ourselves in a big mess.
  8. Nuune, Xaaji Cubtuf has been exposed on another thread. He knows Shabaab as a terrorist organization who once attacked his beloved SL but he recognizes Godane as a great Amiir because of their close clan relations.. 2+2 = 3 this time. Doofaarka ma cuno, dufankiisana waan jeclahay buu wadaa odayga. LOOOOL@cajalad maqal ah.. war ma ninku ma Usama baa?
  9. I see Robow, Aweys(the prisoner), and Ali Rage. The northerner Godane is not man enough to show his face the public.

  14. Somalina, I know that I just had to edit my du'a for him. I am not allowed to make du'a for converts. I didn't question his Somaliness.

  19. Jacaylbaro, CAYN is what the C stands for in SSC. Sool, Sanaag, and Cayn. Buhoodle is one of the towns located in Gobolka Cayn.
  20. Xaaji, Like the other gentleman pointed out, we have never seen you calling Sh.Shariif by his title, you call him Sh.Dalxiis. Why not say "HE Mr.President". You also used to mock former prime minister as "Cumar Buur", again you never called him Prime Minister Sharmarke. Heck you don't even call Sheekh Fuaad Shangoole and Sh Abuu MAnsuur by their titles. Yet, you never forget to use the title AMIIR on all your references to Godane, is that the mother of all coincidences? Iska qiro dee sxb, ninku waa ina adeerkay dheh.
  21. ^LOL@Aaliyah. I see the video aint long but the way the man is talking makes it looooooong. Bal waan dhameysan. He is doing great job.
