  1. Ethnic Somalis protest visit by Ethiopian official Last update: January 23, 2011 - 8:51 PM Several hundred Somalis from the Twin Cities, St. Cloud and other communities protested a visit to Minneapolis Sunday by Abdi Mohamud Omar, president of the Oga'den region of Ethiopia, where ethnic Somalis have been fighting for more than a decade against Ethiopian rule. Shouting and carrying signs across S. 7th Street from the Radisson City Center Hotel from noon to 6 p.m. in frigid weather, the protesters accused Omar of genocide, systematic rape and other human rights violations. One protester was arrested for disorderly conduct. Security was tight in the Radisson and throughout the City Center. The Twin Cities has one of the largest Somali populations in the United States, and Omar has supporters among Somalis as well. It could not be determined Sunday why he was in Minneapolis BILL MCAULIFFE Source
  2. Tuujiska, Chelsea lack effective midfielder that can create good plays. Lampard is not at his best any more and Ramires is qashiin fooqul qashiin. They also need good centre back who can replace Alex when he gets injured again LOL

But all the Puntlanders I know support Faroole. That says something about the kind of leader Faroole is. oops! wrong username ahaa! Log out and then log back in and re-post this.
  4. Click here to listen to very angry protesters.
  5. Someone posted this on their twitter: ina ILeeyow Markad Jigajiga aado Gabaygan iga Gaarsii Saxibadaa, "JAALIYADII O'gadenia A AHEYD BANAANBAXBEY JIDADKA BUUXSHEEN DHEH, QABOWGOO MINUS AH BEY IGU SOO QEYLYEEN DHEH, HOTEL-KAAN GALABA WEERAR BEY IGAGA SAAREEN DHEH, FEERKII IGU DHACAY WAAKA NABARADIISII DHEH, JUG IYO CEEB IIMA YAROO WEY ILA JIHAADEEN DHEH, SILIC IYO SAXARIIR BUU AHAA SAFARKII BAAS E MINNEAPOLIS DHEH, HADAN SAAS U OGAHAY ISKUMA CEEBEEYEEN DHEH.
  6. ^LOL, That was typo. San Diego, it is. I have heard the very sad news coming from Djibouti. Ismail Ghelle finally got himself in that trap of taking orders from Addis Ababa. I guess it is about that time for him to follow the dark footsteps of Somaliland and Puntland. Mark my words, that will not stop the struggle. O'Gadenia shall be free. We all see how Meles is getting desperate these days. For the first time, he is paying millions of dollars to stop the O'gaden struggle. He knows he is losing the war on the ground.
  7. Libaax, his supporters are very few. Most of them are close cousins and what so. Nimco Dareen and another singer by the name of Canab have been paid very well, my sources cited. Che, I was just told that his plans of going to San Diego have been canceled. Odaygu wuu baqay.
  8. On that note, he has also been kicked out from four hotels in Minneapolis after the hotel managements couldn't control the crowd and the demonstrators. He is now hiding in a friend's house in unknown location in St.Paul. Amazing efforts from Somalis in the US, indeed!
  9. How "bout that! LOL I am glad that I don't have a Canadian passport(any more).

  11. Very Amazing. It's going to be available on the Verizon 4G network, too. I am getting one.
  12. ^So you got a big problem with Somalis not recognizing you as a state, as you said you have no problem with Galmudug because its "president" made it clear that he has no issues with Somaliland's independence. BUT(and yes big but) you have no issues when it Ethiopia doesn't recognize you as an independent state. Way to go, Mr. Xandhuf! Qashiinimadaa Somali kamaad keenin ee meeshaad ka keentay waa in la raadiyaa.
  13. Gheelle, LOOOOL@And-drop. I will still keep my DROIDx with me as I carry two phones anyways. Verizon will be able to handle all the demands the iPhone 4 will come. It has moved some of its customers, mostly mobile broadband users, to its 4G network already so it has big junk of its CDMA network available. The disappointing portion of this news is, it will be on 3G. P.s. an iPhone 4 on a VZW network is more than an iPhone, it is an iPhone that works eheh.
  14. Juxa, not sure about the entire tv programs, but this very Ilays program has a very meaningful content. It talks for the freedom fighters in Western Somalia.
  15. Somalina, I think I am finally getting the iPhone4. I know you don't live in the US but the largest cell phone provider, Verizon, in this country has announced that they will be selling the iPhone4 on Feb. 3rd. The current and only company that sells the iPhone is AT&T and they have the crappiest service. Many people who had this phone have it just for the heck of it because they can't 't get the best out of it. The Data is freaking slow. Now, Verizon Wireless who has the most reliable network is getting it and so will I (possibly). They will soon get (probably in six months or so) a 4G iPhone, too. Watch the below clip from the Daily Show's Jon Stewart talking about the iPhone and mocking AT&T LOL. http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/tue-january-11-2011/verizon-iphone-announcement" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen>

After Hargeysa, Burco, Garowe, Kismayo, Baidoa, Marka, Muqdishu and now my beloved Galkacyo is tearing down the blue flag. First of all it is not the Somali flag, it is their own gobol flag. Second, they are not tearing it apart, they are holding it high. Anyways, these kinds of protests are non-sense.
  17. LOL@Boqor, boqor ilaahay baa ah ee boqorka soo daaya. Boqorow, dee adna maamulka ha af lagaadeyn ileen waddan dimuqraadi (for lack of a Somali word) ma joogtide aggah!
  18. AYOUB;688759 wrote: " frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> C'on now look at the video above and tell me who is doing the "kissing". Remember the being kissed is the man who openly opposed the Ethio genocide in Xamar. For a supposed an ONLF supporter you should've known the Ethio FM said nothing new. If he gave any other answer the follow question would have been 0gadenia region's indepence (which is something you have been concerning yourself with). Basic politics but I don't expect the likes of you figure it. Fact is Somalilanders travel to Ethiopia with their passports and our leader get kisses and red carpets rolled out for them by your ministers. Ayoub, It is a fact that Siilaanyo has been welcomed in Addis Ababa. For your information, Ethiopia welcomed and talked to many governors and even sometimes mayors from Somalia in the last two decades FOR ITS OWN i interest of divide and rule so don't make it sound like that Siilaanyo has gotten any special kisses. I am sure you know better. It is also a fact that Ethiopia made it crystal clear that they don't support Somaliland's struggle for secession. And keep in mind nobody asked HaileMariam this question, he came out from no where on his own to tell the world that Ethiopia doesn't want to see Somaliland as an independent country! "They shouldn't think themselves as South Sudanese". he said. Now, Mr. Ayoub, could you tell us what else is there for you guys to have relationship Ethiopia with? This is your nationhood in question, for god's sake! No country (I know yours aint one) in this world would call a friend another country that opposes its sovereignty. P.s. This thread is NOT about if Somaliland's hopes for secession are valid or not, the thread is about how the stinking Xabsshis opposed the existence of the so called Somaliland's sovereignty. Discuss the right topic please.
  19. Somalina, the funny thing is HailaMariam, the FM of Ethiopia, said the exact same thing PM Farmajo said in the same exact day and the reer waqooyiga of SOL didn't open threads to oppose him.
  20. So you guys know that Ethiopia doesn't support your so called secession yet your admin keeps kissing their butt?
