  2. Dude! She was named for a position in the UNEP and that is it! No politics involved.
  3. SomaliWeyn Song from Djibouti's Cawaale. He somehome ties Kismayo to Garissa and then to Jigjiga and Mentions Diridhabe in the same line. Love the way he says "Marka Cad" instead of Marka Caddeey LOL.
  4. I see whacha saying. Yea ka kac meesha and stop saying no to those proposals LOL.
  5. eww? You mean Masha'allah? Yes, they are that old. AT&T's eldest son is about 17 but again the fella got married when he was 13 or so lol.
  6. ^Good input. Does anybody have the map of the entire former British Somaliland and the map of the current SSC areas? I want to see these areas from Geographical perspective as well. Thanks in advance!
  7. For most of SOLers, it would be more of "Don't add friend your children and if you already did, defriend them now!" LOL.
  8. ^He is right, the Harari is available in Somaliland. It comes from Jigjiga. 14 trucks of Qaad goes to Hargeisa everyday and 14 trucks of cash come back LOL.

  11. Aaliyah, Bilan, Saalax, A.Khadar, XX, AO, and everybody else, I already know where all of you stand on this issue. I want you guys to put things in different perspectives now. Let us look at it from different angles and see if we can view it differently.
  12. Saalax;720980 wrote: Well one has to keep in mind the "****" do not have a region only exclusive to them in Somaliland. Both Sanaag & Sool are shared regions and they are not very populated compared to Burco & Hargeysa regions. Source is A General Survey of the Somaliland Protectorate: 1944 - 1950 by John A. Hunt, prepared as the final report on An Economic Survey and Reconnaissance of the British Somaliland Protectorate 1944-1950 Thanks for providing the source. the 1944-50 survey can't be used for today's counts sxb. Point heard as far as **** not having their own state.
  13. How is that a silly question? Aint it three states vs three states? Who did the survey? Source?
  14. let's say we go by Akhadar's and Saalax's logic. All **** vote for go'itaan and all **** and non **** vote for the union. Who would be the majority?
  15. A_Khadar, to some point, clan will play good role but I do believe that some SSCers would vote for go'taanka and some I's would for unity. Burco, for example, is empathic to the union.
  16. ^I would think that it would be a tough call. Obviously, majority of the I clan in Hargeisa, berbera would vote for kala go'a. Burco, I think, would vote for unity. Sool will fully vote for unity while Sanaag would be divided. I am not totally sure about what Awdal would do. Any thoughts?
  17. Ibti, thanks for your input from back home. Is it fair to say that you are basing your thought on what you have seen in the cities you have visited? Could the situation be far different in the other states, I.e. sool and sanaag? North, good points. NGONGE, what are u saying and why? Nuune, the floor is open for waxgaradka uun including yourself. You should have read the disclosure in my first post (no ciyaal, but the floor is open yes). Give your input old man. Che, don't to be too conservative like NGONGE, give us unbiased response.

  19. ^I could not agree with you more on that.
  20. ^, indeed. AfricaOwn needs to understand that some parts of Somalia are as peaceful and as developed as Somaliland.
