FreshPrince;796332 wrote: We all know Puntland calls it's soldiers "Ciidamada Darwiishta ee Puntland", however we also know that SSDF-clan were NEVER part of the Darwiish movement, not to mention, Darwiish and Seyid Muhammad Abdalle Hassan fought against Clan Chief Cusman of Bari in the Darwiish era and almost eradicated his small empire in Boosaaso. Did Darwiish also fought against Boqor Kenadiid of Mugud? If so, why? Was he supporting the Italians too? Are Reer SSDF praising the good ol' Karbash of the Darwiish? There is a name for that? Oh yeah, Stochholm Syndrome LMFAO Sayyidka would find this not than ridiculous. Regardless of their composition, well known fact, Daraawiishta were nationalist army that intended to rid Somalia of the colonies. Any force that emulates them should be commended, not scorned. You sound bitter and beef-stricken. If you are beefing with PL, it is welcomed, nothing new; must know though, you will only harvest the troubles you sow.

Who would u like to see as the president in the elections 2012?

But, QARANIMO must supersede CAADIFAD in order for a new president to competently carry his/her duty to the country. Somalis will be very wise to bring Sharif back, needless to say he has become the president we never expected him to be. -
Nice conversation, honestly did not expect any less from the PM. However, the audience seemed the same people that supports the TFG any way, the folks he needs to preach to are those sitting on the fence.

I was thinking about going to Europe, but after seeing the sudden improvements I changed my mind. For the first time I have faith in Somalia. / [/url] If else fails, this new optimism is welcomed. Even if the oil promise does not materialize, at this cross-road, Somalis realize things couldn't possibly get worse for them and the country. The only route available is to have faith and move forward. The days were detractors pedaled misinformation & fear seems to be running out. Reality is setting on the common folks and that is blessing!

Gotta see this.....

Nimankaan intay goor goor tahay in la iska qabto weeyaan, madaxa ha laga gooyo intay hadda dhaciif yihiin. I saw ten cell phones that could have possibly been part of IED devices. Lives saved! mA on the folks that made this happen! I am sure it started with a vigilant civilian who alerted the authorities.

So I am thinking marxuum was in Xamar in the 20 years his house "was being kept" for him ? Mise Xamar wuu qaxay mar hore ? I ask this because I know few people that went back, or plan to go back Xamar to reclaim properties.

If we keep this up, we will run out of options and will be left with Al-Shabaab. No one said it has to be perfect, but it seems to be working in some areas in Somalia. The rest will soon be up & running.

Bal yara aan u kaadino for the entire year. But, we will all agree that February has been unusually busy for Somalis -Khatumo, Garowe conference, Hague's visit, capture of Baidoa, and the London conference. And I am pretty sure there was a group of people, or an individual, that emerged as the ultimate beneficiary of these events.

Carafaat;795444 wrote: I agree. And the President has done well good job. He deserves to rest from politics after august 2012 and I think his 4 wives deserve to see their husband and be satisfied atleast twice a week each of them. Keeping up with the four misses is major politics itself, no ? Do not know about retiring, he seems to just warming up to the whole scene. They say he is "uniter," not a "divider."

"Already a new militia, led by the unlikely-sounding Sheik Atom, has formed around Puntland's oilfields." Sheikh Atom has been around for years, not recently formed; location : Galgala, no where near oil fields. Somalia's resources are to be profited first and foremost by Somalis. If it comes down to selling our resources to uplift and alleviate the troubles of Somalis, so be it. This oil thing thing will hopefully be the means for us to end misery,iA. I certainly would not heed the apprehension of some English person, soon for whom we will sell oil to, complain from the comforts of their London penthouses.

I think when it is all said and done, people will look back and admit Sharif has been one of the better things to have happened to Somalia. Opportunity, good timing , or else history will judge him positively. His whole underdog style has helped, and continues to help him in stages we never thought he would cope with.

Irrelevant. Eritrea stance on things do not matter, if it were up to them AS would run the affairs of Somalia.

^ I would have been equally clueless of this ART(not that I know much) had I been married to his wife. Fiiri though, wasn't Obama in a funny situation like this with Carla Bruni few years ago ?

Malika- Do not mean to be facetious but that is the only time I do without language. Ahmed Diidaat once once asked of his native language, answered(paraphrased) : Not sure, but I dream and curse in English. In my case, I guess, I dream in English/Somali and curse in Urdu.

Whats up with the aggression? Simple question deserves simple response. Race plays significant role in a more racially diverse setting that tends to be acultural; also expect, cultural being the differential in societies were all, or most, are of the same race. In Africa, culture; in America, race. Or something like that yacni..
