Nur Cade to Newsweek: Ethiopia, our beloved friend in our hour of need.
Peace Action replied to Kashafa's topic in Politics
I want Nuur Caade to be more closer than Yeey to Zenawi and the powers beyond which made easy for Yeey to conduct his merciless masaccre on the people in Mogadishu. This single line demolishes the argument that Ethiopia is occupying us. Don't you think it is the so called insurgency that is fueling this war? There will have been no destruction and killing of civilians if there was no bombing and killing by the shabaabs and other warlords. If Nuur Cade can delvier peace in Mogadishu, then he will have the support of all Somalis and so far he is working toward that goal. -
Nur Cade to Newsweek: Ethiopia, our beloved friend in our hour of need.
Peace Action replied to Kashafa's topic in Politics
The terms for peace deal is obvious. First the violence must stop. Second a time table should be set for Ethiopian troops replace by AMISOM or Arab Muslim forces if they are willing. The Asmara group must be included in the govenment. After this deal anyone who takes up arms should be dealt with firmly by all Somalis. -
Hey North you like it. Burco population, your city is 120K and Bosaso is 90K.

Che, Sometimes you have to swallow bitter pill because you are sick and you want to get better. Somalia is sick and the doctor says peace is the only way to get better. -

Peace Action replied to Suldaanka's topic in Politics
Haddii wafti culus SL loodirayo, maxaa ku jaban. Wufuud meelkasta oo Somalia ayey tagaan. The only reason is to find solution for the problems of Somalia. Unfortunately, the Somalis do not care about their country or their people. -
I also agree with Mr. Khaawi's assertion that, the Somaliland caravan is moving full steam ahead and that the Laaska folks risk a strategic mistake if they miss out on this. In other words, if you oppose the occupying militia of SL, you will be destroyed. The words of a confused and irrelevant person has meaning for you but the reality is that the people of SSC have already spoken through their Garaads. They do not want to have anything to do with you other then being good peaceful neighbors

Sii hayihii Xilka Afhayeenka Maamulka Gobolka Banaadir oo la dilay..!
Peace Action replied to Juje's topic in Politics
Very sad indeed. Alaha u naxariisto. These type of killings are not a solution. On the contrary, it makes the solution to Somalia problem even more complicated. These type of targeted assassinations of low level civil servants are new to Somalia and the the future looks bleak if political differnces manifests itself in killing of your opponent. -
Somaliland frees Puntland Pows — Puntland Vows to Retake Las Anod City
Peace Action replied to Jacaylbaro's topic in Politics
Comendable action. Let us hope they withdraw their militia from Sool, otherwise the conflict will keep simmering and SL will be in full scale civil war. -
Maxuma haday noqon lahaayeen dad aqoon iyo kibrad leh, laakiin waa nasiib daro inta badan waa kuwa ku hungoobay nolosha qarbiga iyagoo lajaanqaadi waayey sidaas darteed waxay utageen Somalia inay jeebka soo buuxsadaan ileen wadamada qarbiga waxba kuma hayaan. Still we need educated and experienced technocrats who live in the west and whose sole purpose is help Somalia. In the longer run the Somalis abroad will be a major asset for Somalia. They already kept Somalia afloat for the past 17 years.

Reposted: Yay some say and others nay
Peace Action replied to Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar's topic in Politics
We would rather have few missing threads than pages of back-and-forth insults being archived for millions to read. That has always been our practice. The thread itself was the source of insults and I am glad it is gone. If LX bring it back, the same thing is going to happen. I think banning and deleting are the only tools you have to keep the forum decent. -
So what is the point in posting such rubbish article? As long as you have this views you will not get far.

Aren.t you all wishing the collapse of Puntland? Be brave and admit it.

Why post a racist article that blames all Puntlands for the ills of Somalia. This shows how clanist are they, that is the advocates of dimembering Somalia.

Editorial: Why Somaliland Times Spreads Lies and Hatred Posted to the Web Jan 21, 17:16 The Somaliland Times editorial (Why is Puntland collapsing? ) has not only missed many points but it missed the chance the celebrate the visit of Somali president Riyale’s visit to the US Statement Department. Why Somaliland Times has chosen to send a couple of ill-timed curses to Puntland is understandable: they have realised the futility of promoting clan fiefdom as a bastion of secession. It is not secret that secessionists lose sleep over Mogadishu ’s positive developments. To believe that destruction of Mogadishu is the ticket to recognition is an unimaginable desire despite our compatriots’ crocodile tears. Riyale is intelligent enough to know that fickle and politically unconscious people who chase the secession dream can be sent to bed with some comforting news that he and his aides doctored before leaving for the United States . Having learned about this stratagem, Somaliland Times, a paper that is unprofessionally critical of Riyale ( remember the lies Somaliland Times spread about the first lady!) , started a new policy of wishing Puntland to become a less prosperous, and less secure place. Puntlandpost wishes our brothers and sisters in Hargeisa a prosperous year, and we whish Somaliland Times to acquire the guts to throw meanness to the wind.

The clan war is underway and the worest is yet to come and SL will take the major responsibility for starting this war. You think Col. Dayr's capture will be easily forgetten by the locals?

High ranking Puntland Officials captured in small skirmish
Peace Action replied to Suldaanka's topic in Politics
Farxad iyo tamaashaad iga dheh. Suldaanow ha umalayn inuu dagaalku istaagay. Nabaddii baa ku dhibtay, kusoo dhowow dagaal. I know you and the likes of you are very happy to see what is happening in Sool and we take note of that. -
Cadde Muuse:- Waxaan dagaal kula jirnaa qaswadayaal
Peace Action replied to Peace Action's topic in Politics
Today substantial percentages of the folks who make up Puntland’s constituency are no longer part of it. There are good reasons for it! Unless those reasons are adequately addressed fake security sweeps would hardly, I am afraid, persuade the informed amongst us to believe otherwise! What is fake about law and order. How do you know what percentage of Plers are against Cade Muse? Did you take a poll or have you visited PL lately? Where are you getting your info? -
I like it. One Country one nation indivisable under God.

Xilbeeg: Congratulating the Security forces of Puntland
Peace Action replied to Fiqikhayre's topic in Politics
No, I do not. Is there any leader who in today's world get support in everything he does?. They have no justification whatsoever in restoring to criminality and it will not be tolerated. The admin was very patient for a long time but now they are doing their job and what do they get, stab in the back. Go and pay a visit their and you will see that things are not so bad as they appear. -
