The Sage;788824 wrote: It seems that some people welcome the establishment of clan states in other areas of the region but when they start forming inside Puntland's borders as is the case with West Puntland State and Raascasayr then they are admonished and deemed illegitimate. Interesting. And you call Khaatumo, Awdal, Maakhir legitimate. Give us break, it is the secessionist who are always against peace and progress for other regions of Somalia because they are afraid of the success of their fellow Somalis will some how diminish them.

Mintid, Don't celebrate too soon. The prediction was in 2008 and now we are in 2012 and you have to add more phony non existent mini states such as Ras Casayer or West Puntland State. You have taken a position without merit and are trying to find facts to fit your ideology. Khaatumo state of Somalia is more of a daggar in the heart of secession of Somaliland. than a threat to Puntland. The foolish war Silaanyo is waging against the people of Buuhoodle guarantees that the D block will never be part of secession. When oil started to follow, insha Allah, even you with so much hatred are welcome to share and that is how Puntland will bring Somalis together.

British Parliament discusses Somaliland and Somalia issues
Peace Action replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
We were the first parliamentary delegation to have visited Somaliland for many years and the scene at the airport was one of crowds the like of which I have rarely seen, holding banners saying “We love our Queen”, “We want to come home”, and “Support the Commonwealth”. It was amazing. From the airport to the hotel in Hargeisa, the crowds welcoming members of the Select Committee were about 10 deep. We love our queen kulahaa- what a disgrace. -
'Liibaan';788312 wrote: Well Said Brother Taleexi, Puntlanders are our fellow citizens, Khaatumo & Puntland share one religion & kinship, one flag, one country, one federal government, one culture, one language etc Ouch, that hurts. If true, Faroole has no understanding of the political significance of Khaatumo State. Fortunately he is up for election soon and I hope Puntlanders will replace him with a better politician.

A better proposal will be to move the capital to new location just like Nigeria moved the capital from Lagos to Abuja. Mogadishu & Hargaysa are doing fine. Erigavo could be a good location.

Somalia (TFG, TFP, Puntland, Galmudug, Ahlu Sunna Wal Jama’a), Why they left out Somaliland whcih accepted to participate? Somebody dropped the ball.

I agree Amin Amir does not differentiate fact from fiction. He is just translating the rumors from the enemies of Somalia without regard to the falsehood of the whole thing. War Somalida ha habaarin.

Dawladda Somaliland oo Go’aan ka Gaadhay ka Qaybgalka Shirka London
Peace Action replied to Siciid1986's topic in Politics
Good decision. Somaliland success was based on peace and dialogue rather than war against their brethren in the north. This decision saves Somaliland from more discord and disintegration and puts her in the of path playing dominant role in the future of Somalia. -
Not at all. But He is very successful in advancing the somali cause. He did not say anything that will be objectionable to Somalilanders. In fact he mentioned how the TFG is helping Somaliland qualify for loans from the world bank. And your own Carafaat will wholeheartedly agree with the PM. As an expert in conflict resolution, Dr. Abdiweli has consulted with the New York state for conflict resolution. He is the right man for the job at this time in the Somali History.

Puntland OIL is a win-win for the State and Somalia
Peace Action replied to Fiqikhayre's topic in Politics
For hungry people, the site of oil rig looks good. Let us pray for the black gold and prosperity for all Somalis, aamiin. -
Can you name the 3 admins you are constantly repeating?

Walle Ali Khalif muxuu in badan ka cabaadiyey. 20 year project takes one man to dismantle it in two months according to the SOL SL boys. If I were you, I will keep quite rather than be the condom for the little dictator zinawi.

Allah Yarxam. Gacan ka xaqdaran baa dishay. There are 2 admins not 3. Unless you want to exaggerate. It is worth keeping the peace until Somalis can tamer the clan tiger.

Just bitter with no facts and biased opinion. You don't get it. Give it up and listen to your fellow NG for once.

Carafaat;783474 wrote: Back in 1960 when Somalilanders decided to join Somalia in a Union, they were not prebared, did not have their own systems of governance and were driven by emotions of Unity and Somalinimo. Leading to dissapointments. Today, sixty years later Somalilanders have a democracy, laws, a system of governance and much better prebared for any deal that is in the interest of the people. Just like they deal with Ethiopia, foreign donors, Djibouti, etc. But again they are driven by emotions, this time those emotions driven them away from any political engagement with Somalia. Somalia and Somali's are no wives you can divorce and leave. Rather we are brothers who need eachother and this time its Somaliland who should show political maturity and be the bigger man. We need men like Carafaat to keep pushing for dialogue instead of isolation. People forgot when Abdirashid was President and Egal was the Prime Minister, Somalia was respected and was considered an upcoming young democracy. Somalis were on their way of managing the cursed clan system if the dictatorship of Said Barre did not interrupt it.

Somalina;783029 wrote: Another way of saying, 'I aint got nothing'. I hear that. Bilan, If I'm not mistaken Golis operates in PL only and Hargeysa has a monopoly over the telecom companies in the North. Here is a map of Golis coverage, it operates some parts of the north to central Somalia. http://www.golistelecom.com/Golis_map.php?catid=Golis%20Map. Every administration, unfortunately forces, the telecom companies to shutdown whenever they want. They have too much at stake to disobey. It happens in Mogadishu, Puntland and Somaliland. -
In fighting piracy, Puntland showed it is open for business and that is why the biggest project in Somalia of oil drilling is taking place a the land of Punt.

Here from Faroole's own mouthpiece, Garoowe Online: Of course, this article was written in 2008 when Cadde Muuse ka talinaaye gobolladaas Waqooyi Bari. Is Faroole's mouthpiece (his son) a 'hater' as well? Will they remove this article now? Hmm... That is called politics. And it shows how wrong Faroole and his sons were. Do you know that all risky oil exploration is undertaken by small companies just like Hunt Oil in Yemen.
