  1. This is not a secret, it is what both regimes doing. Isaias has my respect, he gave the middle finger to NGOS, and aid from west, and believe in being self sufficient, unlike the parasites in Ethiopia.. I have my bet on Meles to go before Isaias.

  3. What about regime Change in Addis, Xaaji will you welcome that?
  4. Zack, You are wrong on this one let us move to other things to learn Af Maay and Maxaa tiri Gaal has always been camel in Somali, but lost in Maxaatiri, laakin kelmada badan baa ku jira, sida gayada, la isticmaalayo Gaal for camel instead of Geel. another example Hadhuub-Gaal, not Hadhuub-Geel
  5. You will never know, this girl maybe turned on by violence, and not getting enoug satisfaction. Zack, Mabrouk mate, join the club
  6. Wax uun bay noqon kartaa, ha iqodin, laaakin fekerka ah raggii kartida lahaa oo fiic fiicnaa ma aadaan wadamadas, waa fekrad khaldan. With supply and demand, xaq bay HABluhu u leeyhiin in ay ka wer weraan arinkan, waayo inankii xagaas aada boos u buuxin lahaa oo hablaha Soomaaliyed ah baa banaan. Markaa waa fahmi karaa waxa Habla qaarkood ka caraysiiyey.

I am sure there is something fundamentally wrong how girls/women are treated, and raised back home, and in many third world countries. There is this Somali family, they consist of two brothers, two sisters, and two parents. The father was financially stable back in Somalia, and he made a huge investments on his two sons, they were both sent overseas , Germany, UK for higher education, Both have PhD and managed to take care of themselves, and their families. While the two girls are very poor and uneducated, one of them don't have basic literacy. Whose fault is it? Less than 10% of school students are girls One should encourage, educate, treat kids equally the same, regardless of their gender.
  8. Thanks Che and Zack... Intii aan wax badan oo darasada ah lagu sameeyn baa wadankii bur buray, haloo tartamo oo halagu faano in la barto lahjadaha badan ee wadanka laga hadlo.
  9. ^If you couldn't find one in your local area? who you go to other country to get married and find a partner? or would you just wait? Sabab baa jirta ragaasi meesha u aadeen, mana aha inta badan wax dhib ah, some go to SOmalia, Some go to Africa and some go to India.
  10. Hablaha qaarkood maxa ka caraysiiyey? Ragga INdia aaday waa ku foolxun, waa bakhayliin? rag xun? Miyaani dhici karin nin dookhis geeyey in uu aadi karo meeshu doonto.
  11. ^Ok, and why do you need to put two dialects in the constitution?
  12. Languages evolve and change.. I ask the question in that interview again, Why do we have two official languages, MAAY and Maxaa Tiri , in our constitution? when then there are no two languages?. Was it a political bargain by the MAAY people?
  13. How about Al Shabaab hosting the next Somali conference? Will TFG, and other Somali regional states willing to come?

I am not sure what another mere meeting is going to do specially when the real stake holders, shabaab, won't show up. I agree, Believe me this conference, like the dozens before will be a waste of time, Somalis are not ready yet to take the first step, and can't get rid of thier biggest obstacle, clan-ism. Markaa, Ha is xiijinina, Somalis, with all the suffering and hardship over 25 years, still can't see beyond clan, and will stay in this situation for some time. To be fair, inagaa aasney luuqada, Maay is the real ,original, Somali language, while Maxaa tiri is the diluted, changed version of Somali. Check this enlightening interview with Prof. Cabdalla Cumar Mansuur , an expert on Somali language Markaa sidaas ha la ogaado, and two Somali dialects share more than you can imagine.
