I don't understand where these arabs got the sadistic culture! -
Gheelle.T;735254 wrote: Che, Arab sheikhs did come to almost all the known Muslim world of today, no? Also, those Arabs who came intermarried locals. From Malaysia to Indian subcontinent, and all the Muslim Africa, there are people who claimed Arab ancestry or trace they lineages to specific Arab Sheikh. And Somalis claim is no accident. What if the this "gene mapping" you have talked about takes the Somalis back to Arabia? Then what? Since there is no historical evidence out there that can refute these claims, then let them pay their due visit to their tomb of choice. Are being naive or what? So if other people in other countries claim , Then Somalis have right to do the same? and how do define where half of the popular to claim to be Arabs? BTW there is no denying there were Arabs used to come to Somalia, and properly intermarry, but the level millions claiming to be from those Arabs is not logic and very much questionable. At the same time, there were Africans, Europeans, Asians, who also came to Somalia? How many Somalis have u seen claiming to have roots in Central Africa? You can not be a better person or better Muslim if you wrongly claim to be an Arab!,It is time to embrace who you were, and drop this nonsense. And I agree with Che, once these false stories are debunked, many will say goodbye to those fake shrines!

^Education, Education!, There are no go areas, but I am definitely sure once majority of people get educated, and more research, Archaeology, Genetic genealogy, etc Most of these myths will be debunked!

^Go Veggie, I love them, like ur mum. There is an Ethiopian restaurant in my city, serves Big anjero, and is very popular.

^ , It is time Somalis should say no to these "false doctrines", which has no place in modern Somalia.

*Blessed;733983 wrote: Som@li. I guess you're not a big book fan. A library is far more interesting than a boring internet website. As well as reading the actual books, people got speak to the authors and discuss the issues raised in the books. A library encourages sharing of books, ideas and Insha Allah increased readership back home will mean more youngsters will be encouraged to share and form their own opinions. Vast majority of people back home don't have access to the internet and / or can't afford to buy many books. Keep up the great work, Ibts and team HBF. I understand the issue of "Digital Divide" and Yeah it has to be addressed as well, but all over the world, Bookshops, Libraries will close down and move online. It is time to embrace the change, and not re-invent the wheel. Anyway, Good job by Ibti and team.

300 students? a country of 10 Million, it is nothing to be happy about, It is better to have a good educations system locally, This will not fill the gabs, but better than nothing. Somalia is suffering the worlds worse brain drain, where the people with education skills have almost disappeared, and it is hard to rebuild a nation without a people with the capacity to rebuild!

^It is good mate that you took my advice and seen Somalia by yourself, now I will be your student, Welcome back, and keep posting.
