Him being a muslim or somali does not guarantee your safety. We weren’t even there for a minute when I realized the dude obviously liked to talk, the whole time he had the floor and never asked me anything maybe because he was stalking me all this years that he knew all my life story…to make long story short I went to the bathroom and had my roommate call me for some emergency to cut the date short. So basically from this quote---you had nothing better to do...and you decided to entertain yourself by going out on a date with him? You had the intention of meeting this guy---you were looking for sparks---and you expected to have a normal conversation with him (getting upset that he talked the whole time--and not giving you a chance)----so what is the problem pray tell me? I have two views on this subject---If people started to donate their organs when they died...the demand would decrease and poor poeple in third world countries would not have to sell their organs to survive (alot of young women and men, in India particulariy, sell their kidney (+other organs) to pay off debts or just buy food...from european and American customers. On that subject, my professor was discussing it last week actually. When boys do poorly at math or science...the teachers assume that they are lazy. However, when girls perform poorly, it is because they are "stup!d" or "just can't get it". So when a teacher comes with these preconcived notions about gender performance....their actions reflect that. Some of the almost touching obliviousness of smart men may trace to the fact that their gender has narrower options than women for role-playing. Samurai or wimp are the only parts they get offered. Women, by contrast, get a crack at boss lady, taskmaster and office power woman along with mistress, wife, geisha, doormat, chatelaine, vixen, goddess, nursemaid and she-devil -- all in the course of one day. The author seems almost proud that women can enter those roles depending on the situation---when half of the roles are degrading and demeaning to women.
