  1. I'm putting all secessionists on suicide watch, things do not look good.
  2. This again? If these people spent as much time studying the mechanics of politics as they do aimlessly protesting, they would've been independent in 1992. It's just getting pathetic right now.

No offense but no one cares what you think, go busy yourself with something else. Kulahaa "i wanna some cash first" - learn English before you ask anyone for money.
  4. Damn, we already got an update from Range Official Update on Puntland Range Resources Limited (“Range” or “the Company”) would like to announce an update on the drilling of the Shabeel-1 exploration well in the Dharoor Valley Block in onshore Puntland. The Shabeel-1 exploration well spudded on January 17, 2012 and is currently at a depth of 1,230 meters. Casing has been set in the well to a depth of 1,139m and drilling of the 12 ¼ inch section continues as planned. Drilling of the Shabeel-1 well is expected to be completed before the end of March and testing equipment is currently being mobilized to the site. Assuming successful drilling results, it is anticipated that testing results will be available early in the second quarter of 2012. Upon completion of drilling the Shabeel-1 well, the rig will move to the Shabeel North-1 well, where 30 inch conductor pipe is in place and a 50 meter pilot hole has already been drilled. These two wells represent the first exploration wells to be drilled in the country in over 20 years and will satisfy the first exploration period drilling commitments as required under the Production Sharing Contracts for both the Dharoor and Nugaal Blocks. In order to provide sufficient time to evaluate drilling results, the Puntland Government has granted an extension of the first exploration period expiry date 17 October 2012. The Puntland Government and Dharoor Valley communities are fully supportive of the drilling project and have ensured the Company that they will do all necessary to allow the project to move forward safely and expeditiously. 5. Direct US involvement has not yet been established in the form of money. When US companies get involved, you will hear about Somalia like its America's neighbor or something.
  6. Duke, don't you know that back in the day, Gaalkacyo was the only Somali city with street lights. Even though they are a bit ghetto, Reer Mudug are the most ingenious and crafty Somalis - didn't you see 'gaariga Puntland' You think Reer Mudug own Somalia's modern history with bullets? They are the nucleus of modern Somalia.

  8. Horn Petroleum, the single largest stakeholder in the Dharoor and Nugaal basin exploration process, is due to release an official update statement on progress at the Puntland well sites in the coming few days according to a contact in the northern Bari region of Somalia. Our contact works in Dubai, which many consider to be the second headquarters of the Puntland oil project, and he frequently travels to Somalia’s Puntland region to look over his personal enterprises. He’s stated that the official update will be due around the time of the London conference tomorrow, and that the information is already prepared by the exploration team, however it may be delayed due to politically-related timing. The announcement, he said, even if not directly on the subject of a serious discovery of hydrocarbons, will allude to related themes. 9. In a video we obtained this week, dating back to as far as 2009, several Somali men with guards can be seen with an Asian surveyor, pointing his camera at markings on the ground. The man seen pointing the camera at the markings is said to be a geologist with the South Korean energy company SK Energy, a member of the SK Group ‘Chaebol’, or conglomerate, formerly known as Sukyoung Group. In the 22-second clip, entirely in Somali, the man behind the camera states that the governor [of Mudug region, under the Puntland State authority], in the beige outfit, is informing the geologist about the date of the markings and which group in specific left the markings. The markings, left by drills and later sealed up, are most likely the work of CNOOC, the Chinese National Offshore Oil Company, which entered into an exploration agreement with former Somali transitional president Abdullahi Yusuf in 2007. It isn’t out of the ordinary for SK Energy to have a presence in Somalia. In 1988, the company entered into an agreement with the government of nearby Yemen to export crude oil from the Marib basin for processing in South Korea. The Marib basin also extends south across the Gulf of Aden into Somalia, though not as far as Garacad, where the video was filmed. It was rumored in 2009, almost at the outset of the presidency of current Puntland leader Abdirahman Mohamed Mahamud ‘Faroole’ that SK Energy approached him with a 99-year lease worth $50-100 million on the coast of Garacad district in Mudug. Faroole was said to have denied the offer, likely for a bigger payoff expectation from CNOOC in the Mudug region.. http://dissidentnation.com/

  12. These so-called clan elders can't even write their own names. I highly doubt they know what they are saying. Their so-called leader was bragging a few months ago about ethnically cleansing Aidid's clan from a Mogadishu district in the 90s. How can you take people like that seriously? They are stuck in the stone ages while Puntland and the rest of Somalia are soaring.
  13. Freedom, Somaliland has no business in Djibouti, Puntland is there to conduct trade with investors in Djibouti, and to open doors for Djiboutian access to Puntland resources. Its like comparing me taking a field trip to Iraq to Obama leading an envoy there. Its apples and oranges. One group is there for vain reasons like public appearances or pleasure while another group is there for diplomatic and tangible purposes. It reminds me of that famous field trip Riyaale took to Washington several years back.
  14. The capital of Khaatumo is Buuhoodle, and the other 3 states do not exist.
  15. By the way, that render I posted is not just someone's fantasy, its from Mubarak Construction, the local company that has the contract.
  16. This is what the finished parliament will look like, and yes - it will be very big.
  17. This person is acting silly on purpose. Reer Nugaaleed is a geographic term and someone can't just decide one day that they will monopolize it. Technically there is not even a definition called "Reer Nugaaleed" under anyone's vocabulary. The people of SSC are referred to as Reer Waqoyi on a cultural & geographic basis. Nugaal refers to a geographic region and nothing more, and the proper region runs from Buuhoodle to Eyl as I stated. Anything other than that and you are just trolling for giggles. Its a strange moment in Somali history when someone decides to create a new geographic identity for themselves just to distinguish their clan ancestry. You cannot have "Nugaal" without historic places like Eyl, Illig, Garowe and such.
  18. Is this person ****? What does Sanaag have to do with reer Nugaaleed? Does he not know basic geography? "Nugaalweyn" is from Eyl to Buuhoodle, its a straight line that covers the entire Nugaal valley basin.
  19. We are due for an update this week, boys, are you ready?
  20. Somalia;785782 wrote: Looks excellent but you shouldn't brag to an Oil Sheikh, that shit will get back to hunt you. Couldn't have said it better lol! The stadium is grand in its own right, perhaps the best Somalia will see yet, but the days of comparing Berbera to Qardho are over, its best to just let those things live in the past rather than bringing them up at a strategically-disadvantageous time.

Twenty years of doing nothing and simply praying for British attention did not work, now it is time to actually put a foot forward. We should commend them on their correction.

  23. Asha Abdalla is the General Morgan of females, spending her acquired intellect and stature wasting away in foreign hotels looking for attention and freebies. Its a shame she uses whatever education and status she has acquired for personal enrichment. Its a good thing she is totally irrelevant in the big picture. The only thing she has influence over is Kenyan hotel reservations.
  24. Whatever gaffs they want to pull, Somaliland will have to be seated next to Galmudug, Ahlu-Sunnah, Puntland, and the various other maamuls within Somalia.
