Attraction is something that should be in a relationship and is not necessary based on only good looks but attraction from the heart. Somali weddings are offly expensive because everyone from the whooooole town attends it. It is for some strange reason expected to invite everyone even if it it is 500 people which in turn totals your expenses of the roof by maybe $50,000. Prepare to be broke ya'll!

Dear SOL nomads, this question has arisen when young educated somali brother asked me for my hand. He is good standard looks. Regardless of how he dresses even if it is the most impressive I am not attracted to him one bit. I don't think about him. So, what I like to know is, can you marry someone you are not attracted to , that your heart isn't in it? It is question that I definatly would like some help with the sisters. I kinda agree with most of you. Money definalty makes things easier. Most of the couples I know fight because they can't manage what is left of the money they have. It comes handly ladies when you are big time mad at him to go spending some of that money treating our selves. I am sure a man who had some personality and money would rank high in with me. So if you had to choose a brother who was wellmannered,not too effectionate but very stable meaning making really good money. Compare to a brother who is very effectionate, no stable job and well-mannered. They both approach you for your hand who would you choose ladies?

Cara, what does freestyle writting got to do with politics. I don't enjoy politics. All I want is people who want to write whatever they feel like to contribute if they want into short story. This is acctually interesting question, I am glad someone brought to our attention. I noticed the only videos/eg. movies we somalian like is wedding videos......that acctually become our true movies...lol. It is sad to say it but when you go over to a house...they welcome you make you shax and sweets and greet you with wedding videos. And I even heard crazy stories where in a different country where a guy would watch the wedding video like a girl who is in it, find out who she is contact her. And you know the ending they get married. So, I like watching Lavish and extravently done somali weddings. I even watched one they did it like a documentry where the camera man shows the bride and the groom dressing up the day of the wedding and displaying how they feel. Interesting. I watched a wedding that was soo sooo beautifully done, atleast over 20,000 would have went to that night, and it is sad to say they got divorced after 2 years of marriage....so, I really don't know if it is worth it......people still watch the videos anyways. The question is....are we throwing these lavish wedding because we want the status and to pride or are throwing it because we want to measure the love we have for each other (for example the love meeter...would it goo really high because we spent too much geez....what if we spend small money....does that mean we don't have the same love for each each other....I don't know..I am just throwing these questions. That is how I see it...

Welcome Sister. It is good to have you. From what I heard, it is comes with great pain. But I also heard the ladies forget the pain the moment they see the blessing from Allah. So, my sister, you need to get over that....just give it a chance..and take lots of pain killers..(I think there is a needle inject to your back). I bought a gym membership but only went ther 47 times in 3 mnth. What a waste of time. But I am hardly home so I choose soup most of the time so I don't eat too much carb...but I heard...tooo much water does wonders..but don't see the difference my face is still dry..maybe the winter.. I have read the book The Rules by Ellen Fein and Sherrie Schneider and from their advertisment it says Beyonce uses these rules to keep the brothers on their toes. Well, I tried to do it but find it really hard. Couldn't even do it straight 2 weeks. here is some of the rules: 1. Don't ever call unless you are returning his call after he called more than 5 times or schedual changes. 2. Don't talk about the realationship 3.
