    Dilemma

Polygamy this, Polygamy that….is there nothing left to talk about in SOL? OK. Here is my penny’s worth. First of all, this Faarax brought this Dilemma on himself….Yaa ku idhi daa dahee dumar aan loo dirsan …I say stop being such a *insert*... be a man about it and face the consequences. Secondly, I partly blame the woman. Yaa ku idhi nin naag leh, niyada u dis ….If she don’t mind sharing, not all woman are willing to distribute their husband to other woman. However, if you are going to pursue a married man, the least you could do is a bit of background research….find out if you and his 1st wife have things in common… like sharing her husband before you put all these romantic ideas in your head. Lets be real, woman are in control when it comes to these situations, and if she decides nothing is to come out of this… it won’t….all she has to do is to draw THE _________ And, WALA! Presto! ….things Only start to get messed up once she crosses THE ___________ Finally, had the 1st wife regularly given him a satisfying meal that was balanced and well-combined to ensure that his body, mind and soul were well nourished….kumuu saqajaameen appetizers
  3. This, I Believe is not going to work…simply because this was probably designed for Civilized people….the idea has not even been put into practice yet already you’re at each others throat…. Some things never change.

  8. Aeronwen Cawo, boxing? That's interesting. Have YOU taken up boxing? Beating something/someone to within an inch of their live is very appealing. The only thing that puts me off is having my face messed up (yes, I am vain). I couldn't walk about with a purple and bruised face! Well, in that case lets try the Punching Bag first...get the gloves on and punch the bag as hard as you can...but be careful now...it does strike back...so make sure you're Focused is not as easy as it looks. (see Million dollar Baby for demostration)

  13. My oh my… Mr Brown …nice episode… what else have you got under your sleeve… do share Since you got the ball rolling…lets update you with what Ceebla has been up to. ………………………………………………………… It’s Thursday evening, [a day before Cilmi returns] she just finished watching Eastenders…when she spotted the The “Shoe†box across the room on top of the table by the front door …she quickly turned and started flicking through the TV channels… nothing interesting as usual she thought …she glanced at the shoe box once more and this time a little longer than the last….she then got up and picked up the box and examined the Shoe one last time…hoping to notice anything out of the ordinary…but nothing…(a part of her was relieved…while the other was a little disappointed…there was no excuse…)…better face the music she thought… She picked up the letter …and quickly skimmed through hoping to find his number… and there it was…her heart almost skipped a beat…excited and nerves at the same time…ok take a deep breath and just relax she thought…it’s just a phone call…you’re starting to act like Lubna ( ) look at you …you’re in a state…get yourself together woman...at this rate you’ll probably end up like her in couple of years…wondering what Coulda..Shoulda…Woulda happen…. SNAP out of it… she exclaimed She picked up the phone and started dialing Cilmi’s number…dhiriin…dhiriin dhiriin…she’s started to get anxious…and hopes he doesn’t pick up HELLO…she hears a deep..xabeeb voice on the other end… Ceebla Hi…I was hoping to speak to Cilmi… Cimli You’re speaking to him.. she takes a deep breath…aahhh… Ceebla Hi...this is Ceebla.. are you free to talk? trying to sound very formal Cimli Yes! I am home alone at the moment…How are you doing? Ceebla I am great thank you for asking…yourself? Cilmi Fanstastic… I am glad you called… she smiled nervously….and said… Ceebla Thank you. Ceebla Hhmm I wanted to speak to you about the other day…do you think we could meet up for a coffee tomorrow evening? Cilmi Ofcourse… Ceebla Say around 7.30pm @ Borders Cilmi Great…I’ll see you then… Ceebla See ya...Byee Cilmi Bye See now that wan't so bad was it....she exclaimed.

  15. Young hearts run free indeed…I thoroughly enjoyed that Ngonge thank you. This story is open to different interpretations. Some might look at it from technological and modern societies influences (Tolstoy analysis)….others might see it from a self-analysis and using one's own consciousness… It has different interpretations for different People and every now and then it’s better to allow people to have their own understanding... sometimes having an in-depth analysis might not be appropriate, and I think in this case the authors intent was to cause people to draw their own interpretations. As for my own interpretations of the story, I think Ngonge’s emphasis on the Twenty-eight-year-old Lubna (a mere 2 away from the BIG three O) carried more weight than anything else.. You see most girls at 16 are young and naive and are willing to be charmed and dazzled by any Farax who pays a compliment to her. However, Lubna..( now twenty eight ) would not entertain such thoughts, moreover she wouldn’t tolerate such immaturity (which Xalimo would give him the time of day…she would probably hang up and then put the phone of the hook ) and as a result feels she might have missed one too many opportunities in her time, hence reminiscing about the old times. Then again I could be way off….

  20. ^^^ Well it was a weak comparison…However I am sorry to hear that you were Driven Out...Hope you’re settling alright now Originally posted by Brown Do you agree or not? I understand the term refugee has negative connotations…but on this matter I don't agree with you…that fact is anyone, from anywhere, at any time can be a refugee and being an American is no acceptation.

Originally posted by Brown: Also,if i for instance move from say Baltimore,MD which has a high rate of crime, and i move to say Burlington,Vermont, with a relatively low crime rate; am i considered a refugee?. No, you will not be called a refugee...One would use the term migrate to describe the above...simply because you Chose to leave...you were not driven out...as the case for a Refugee
