It is confirmed by credible reports that the Islamic Courts Union (ICU) have launched a preemptive and premeditated attack on the combined forces of the Puntland State of Somalia and militias from Galmudug region of Somalia. The attack took place at exactly (approx.)midnight local time as the local populance were preparing for their celebrations regarding the partial arms embargo lifting and the new UN resolution enforcing the credibility of the TFG amongst the world community by sending a combined force of African Union and Igad peacekeepers to Somalia, therefore once again pledging an involvement by the International Community into the internal affairs of the TFG of Somalia for an initial period of six months! ICU were against troop deployments and the partial arms embargo lifting, hence their rush, quick and sudden attack on the areas were Darawiish's were stationed just outside the city of Galkacyo, who had the task for protecting the city from the ICU, that want it to capture as a negotiating item in further talks with the tfg and International Community, they would give up control of Galkacyo if the events of today were reversed and the status quo restored but we see what happens and unfolds in the days and weeks ahead of us inshallaah! UN's own mouthpiece: Security Council approves African protection force in Somalia!! Security Council 6 December 2006 – The Security Council today authorized the establishment of an African protection and training mission in Somalia to help defend the troubled country’s Transitional Federal Institutions (TFIs). The new force, which will be set up by the African Union (AU) and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), an east African group, has an initial mandate of six months , according to a resolution adopted unanimously by the Council. The Council said it was acting under Chapter VII of the UN Charter in authorizing the peacekeeping mission. No countries bordering Somalia will be able to deploy troops in the force, which is to be known as IGASOM and is being created amid mounting international concern at the lack of progress in peace talks between the TFIs and the Union of Islamic Courts, which controls the capital, Mogadishu. The mission is charged with: protecting members of the TFIs, including the Government; training those institutions’ security forces to provide their own security and help re-establish national security forces; maintaining security in Baidoa, where the TFIs are based; monitoring progress on dialogue between the TFIs and the Islamic Courts; and ensuring the free movement and safety of all those involved in the dialogue process. Under the resolution, the arms embargo on Somalia has been partially lifted to allow the supply of “weapons and military equipment and technical training and assistance intended solely for” the new force. Council members also stressed that they consider the TFIs and the Transitional Federal Charter to “offer the only route to achieve peace and stability in Somalia,” which has not had a functioning national government since the regime of Muhammad Siad Barre was toppled in 1991. The resolution urged both sides to resume peace talks immediately, and warned that the Council would take action against anyone who tries to block peaceful dialogue or overthrow the TFIs by force . Last week Council members adopted a resolution condemning the recent spike in Somalia’s weapons trade and extending the mandate by six months of a group of experts charged with monitoring the flow of arms.

Great news, that the weapons embargo has been lifted. I very much welcome the UN resolution. Now the government can get what it needs, whether they borrow, I guess Melez doesn't have any objectives if we do borrow one or two of his 'toys'! Great day for Somalia! The International community finally sees light and engages one more time in Somalia. This is an endorsement of the TFG and threat to anyone who opposes the government. The Minor Signs of The Last Day Hadhrat Abu Musa Ash'ari (R.A.) narrates that Rasulallah (Sallallahu Alayhii Wassallam) said, "Qiyamah will come... * When it will be regarded as a shame to act on Quranic injunctions. * When untrustworthy people will be regarded as trustworthy and the trustworthy will be regarded as untrustworthy. * When it will be hot in winter (and vice versa). * When the length of days is stretched, i.e. a journey of a few days is covered in a matter of hours. * When orators and lecturers lie openly. * When people dispute over petty issues. * When women with children come displeased on account of them bearing offspring, and barren women remain happy on account of having no responsibility of offspring. * When oppression, jealousy, and greed become the order of the day. * When people blatantly follow their passions and whims. * When lies prevail over the truth. * When violence, bloodshed and anarchy become common. * When immorality overtakes shamelessness and is perpetrated publicly. * When legislation matters pertaining to Deen is handed over to the worst elements of the Ummat, and if people accept them and are satisfied with their findings, then such persons will not smell the fragrance of Jannat. * When the offspring become a cause of grief and anger (for their parents). The following is part of a lengthy Hadith narrated by Hadhrat Abdullah Ibn Mas'ood (R.A.) when he inquired from Rasulallah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wassallam) about the SIGNS OF QIYAMAH. * Music and musical instruments will be found in every home. * People will indulge in homosexuality. * There will be an abundance of illegitimate children. * There will be an abundance of critics, tale-carriers, back- biters and taunters in society. * People will establish ties with strangers and sever relations with their near and dear ones. * Hypocrites will be in control of the affairs of the community and evil, immoral people will be at the helm of business establishments. * The Masjid will be decorated, but the hearts of the people will be devoid of guidance. * The courtyards of Masjids will be built beautifully and high mimbars (pulpits) will be erected. * Gangsters and evil people will prevail. * Various wines will be consumed excessively. IRAQ and SYRIA Abu Nadhrah says: "We were sitting in the company of Jabir bin Abdullah (R.A.) when he said: 'Soon the people of IRAQ will neither receive any food (grain) nor any money.'" We asked, "Why would such a thing happen?" He replied, "Because of the non-Arabs." (i.e they will prevent food from going into Iraq, in the form of "sanctions" to this day.) He then said: "Soon the people of Shaam (SYRIA) will neither receive any money nor grain." We asked as to why this would happen. He replied: "Because of the Romans (christians)." CONCEITED PEOPLE: Hadhrat Abbas (R.A) narrates that Rasulallah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wassallam) has said, "Islam will spread far and wide, across the seas. Horses will cross the land and seas in the cause of Jihaad. Then a time will come wherein a group of people will emerge which recites the Quraan. They will claim, 'We have recited the Quraan and is there anyone who understands the Quraan better than us? There is NO ONE more proficient than us in the study of the Quraan.' Then Rasulallah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wassallam) asked the Sahaba, "Do you see any good in their claims?" The Sahaba replied, "No". Rasulallah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wassallam) said, "But these conceited claimants will be from my Ummah and will be the fuel of the Fire."

Horn I know you took my earlier message as having a grudge or a hatred towards your clan, but we've to put things in the right context! I was being cynical about how your uncle was kow-towing to Abdullahi Yusuf and you changing your stance in response to his actions, which I pointed out, that the former H.E. Like the US and its allies are wrong, they toppled Saddam Hussain without any idea of what would follow or any real alternatives that's why I say the people, who brought this about are those maniacs, who without any plan and alternative decided to topple a regime, that admittidley wasn't perfect and had many mistakes but putting in perspective nonetheless that it was a functioning government that could bring law and order to the common Somalis and which the jabhads couldn't and will not bring about. Rebels without an agenda and plan are to blame for the sad state we are now finding us! If they could have paused and question themselves 'What will follow once we topple this dictator'? We might not find us ourselves in the deep and unenvious hole we are finding us in right now! You can't rewrite history Mr. duuliysare! Everybody knows, who the people were, that destroyed our beautiful capital and reduced it to rubble! Our capital was the pearl and jewel of Africa because our government the gone regime distributed all the wealth to its advancement often to the disadvantage of other regions! Iraq will never recover and believe what I say, the majority of them really reminisce, when their children could go to school without the fear of them being blown up or killed in a sectarian attack! Maybe you're too 'young' or inexperienced but it's really something bad when people lie about you.
