Some insights and commentary from myself on the situation in Somalia on the ground as we 'speak' now! War has been evaded and as usual all parties after the 'hype' are ready again to hold negotiations, come and sort out their differences on the negotiation table, so much of talk of war by the clan-courts then! Rival entities are competing politically in Somalia and it seemed that the world has decided simply that they can't afford another crises in a very volatile and strategic region close to the Middle East as the Horn of Africa! Again Europeans and the US couldn't agree on a strategy. Europeans are for talks and backing the clan-courts as again diplomats have been brainwashed into supporting the courts of murderers and rapist while the US holds its positition that the courts are of the same make up as the toppled Taliban regime in Afghanistan, which Europe ofcourse denies! It's a mystery, US secretly pushes and power's the TFG through its strategic ally and supporter of the region, namely Ethiopia! Our country will stay forever like this, until one breaks out of this cycle of listening and adhering to the wishes of third parties! I only wish the Somalis could sort it out between themselves! Again another round of talks to start in couple of weeks/months time, then the same tired old story, we never seem to learn from our mistakes it seems! A President that says he's not committed and retracts his words of saying 'that the door for reconciliation and peace are indeed closed' and talking soft now! Xiinfaniinow Adeer I believe that this trip to Baidoa by H.E. Adde Muuse is indeed a historic one! I would compare it with Churchill's, Roosevelts and Stalins meeting at Yalta on the black sea in 1945, when Nazi-Germany's dismise was quite evident, so they had to come up with a strategy on how to deal with that new fact! Keep in mind that Puntland and the TFG are not warrying parties, but as the health minister of Puntland already said 'that Puntland is indeed a viable and vibrant federal state' that supports the TFG and its institutions to the core. They will come up with an official press statement regarding the situation in Somalia and although I don't believe that they will declare anything out of the ordinary however I would sincerly like and hope for a declaration of war from the TFG and Puntland combined on the courts, that's if the courts chicken out and do not attack Baidoa on tuesday! H.E. Adde and his honourable delegation will stay for three days inshallaah and if in that time, the courts attack (which is very unlikely) then they will stay resolute with the TFG (shoulder by shoulder) and declare war on the courts but that will not happen! So they will announce the usual like that Puntland is determined to help the TFG progress and that they support them fully and that economic succrifises will be made to help the 'dowlad' etc. In fact Adde Muuse's military skills will be taken into account as he will draw the military strategy and plan for the upcoming war, that is in fact not upcoming because courts 'chickened out' and they're shaking not their 'jihadists' in the trenches near Baidoa (because they believe that they can't loose: Jannah or Victory remember) but the likes of their masterminds experienced war veterans like ina Dahir Aweys! That's why the Odey Abdullahi Yusuf has smelled blood and said the 'door for reconciliation is closed' and that 'War is inevitable and unavoidable'! New committees selected from the TFG and Puntland will work out an agreement between the TFG and Puntland regarding that business! This is a show of courageous support for the TFG, at a time where the courts said, that they will attack Baidoa by Tuesday. Later on the minister of Health of Puntland Dr. Abdirahman Saed told the reporters that His government received invitation a while ago from the TFG to come to Baidoe. And they responded today, The Minster says that Puntland is a Part of Somalia and supports the Federal government. He also told the reporters that Puntland delegation will have information sharing meetings with the Federal Government in order to maintain good working relations we have. Cadde Muuse Xirsi President of the Puntland State of Somalia, together with a large delegation of cabinet ministers and Puntland Military officials will visit the headquarters of the TFG in Baidoa! It will be the 1st of such a kind visit of H.E. Adde Muuse, that he will undertake to visit the temporary seat of the Transitional Federal Instituitions in Baidoa inshallaah! Inshallaah they will discuss with the President of the TFI Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmad about strategies regarding how the current situation of Somalia works out and private business concering the state affairs of the autonomous federal state of Puntland State of Somalia in particular and Somalia in general! We will see inshallaah what the outcome of such a historic and 1st trip to Baidoa by H.E. Adde Muuse will be. We'll eagerly await its outcome inshallaah!
