  1. Today...im feeling extra aware as I will be entertained by brother Ameen Pucca: I tell them I am afraid of the dark (see I embraced my inner scary-cat) Also Today..Im gonna try not let things get to me and think them through before saying something
  2. Today I decided to have a "me day" meaning block everything else around and do what I feel like. Also I came across brother Ameen's blog..looks like i'll be reading it for a while now. By the way keep up the good work brother
  3. Marc:you wouldnt write that unless you know me (!). which i doubt. ^ I dont need to know you to comment on a ridiculous idea when I see one.
  4. ^^ Im all for free speech and communicating among eachother and to the rest of the masses as well as exchanging views and ideas. Which at times might turn into debates and arguments (hopefully positive ones) However theres no need to sound condenscending in order to get your point across. Rather taking this path weakens your arguments or opinion. I can speak for myself when i say..No one is trying to change your ideas. But we dont need to wear "your cool" glasses to get our point across. My question to you is why are you posting all your videos in this hidden dark and private forum if it not to communicate to the masses?
  5. ^^ how does wearing simple glasses hide your identity?

    Hi

Welcome brother now that I think about it I should've of done this too when i was a newbie instead of walking in and starting my comments
  7. Although I feel bad about the way her life was taken, nothing can erase her so-called legacy. Its so funny how people rush to saying good things about someone, when they die yet during their lifetime their faults seem always clear. Dont get me wrong, regardless of whether she was muslim or not, no one deserves to be victim to suicide bombing, but Buttho was as corrupt as they get. Plain and simple she wasnt about the people of her country, she was about Buttho's interest.
  8. ^^^ While I read later on about the poster's other post, I still believe that feeling sorry for someone who has been murdered while he was unable to reverse his wrongfull choice isn't unislamic. Rather it shows humanity. Thats what i meant from the beginning about empathy. However you have your right to be happy about someone's elses murder. Thats your choice. As about the poster, whatever he/she is trying to prove will come out in due time, but i dont think we should waste our time with it anymore since he/she cant respond to any questions or at least back up his argument. salam
  9. To the poster: What makes you think that Islam is the reason behind the Somalia's unrest or that the way to finding oneself begins with christianity? Walaal dont you know that many countries where muslims count for less then 1% had the bloodiest wars? I can think of Haiti and what about the DRC democractic republic of congo? Please if your gonna take such positions the least you can do is back up your arguments. Then again if this is an attempt to getting some kind of attention..Shoot! i guess i fell into that one.
  10. I have desires not one but a few: I hope to be the best muslimah i can possibly be and please Allah. I want to incha Allah have enough to send my parent and grandmother to haajj. The rest are to have a great foundation to start my own family and oh..get that damn! raise
  11. ^^ Masha Allah Indeed that is something to be impressed about.
  12. Umu Zakaria, While I do understand your position, I would like to let you know that as muslims or somalis heck even humans, perfection isnt achieved. If fellow Somalis turned away from the Right path (our deen; islam in this case)we shouldnt be pleased that they suffered and got murdered for their choice. Rather empathy can takes us further were we can ask ourselves, besides the Shaytan what made them leave such a blessed position. I believe the action taken against the man in the article is only right if your deen or your life is being treathened. In the article however, there was no such indication that the man was doing either things. Furthermore my point about empathy, wasnt meant for you to applaud them and be okay with their choice, but simply to know that perfection is only associated with Allah, and Humans will make mistakes in this case; grave ones. Also; I do not agree with anything said by the poster, for starter saying that somalis that converted to christianity should be left alone since those abroad are left to follow Islam is wrong. They should not be killed but they should be educated. But simply saying oh dont kill because you dont get killed when in a christian country is ludicrous. Its taking the easy way out. Khalaf..by the right path I meant Islam.
  13. ^^^ Since when does feeling empathy for a fellow Somali, another human being (who indeed lost his way to the right path) make you misguided? Its called sympathy walaal.. Get some! Also, Somalia has NEVER been 100% sunni muslim.
  14. Thats fine J11. Serves me right..following a Somali soap opera. Forget the characters, the author gets tired after a couple of pages loool I kid..i kid
  15. ^ I agree with you on this point. Its ironic how the efforts to convince are spent on foreign forces, when everyone knows that without the will of the civilians, the citizens, the somalis every act will only be a forcefull one. Twist it however, from insurgents not wanting a government to Ethiopians being on Somali soil to help and guide..its INVASION!! simple as that. And for that the Somalis have every right to resist!
  16. ^ I decided to protest your stories!! How can you start another one when I dont know what happened to Scary-cat Diiriye and "I'll-get-him-no-matter-what" Nimco? cruel game this is my dear
  17. ^^ Must be easy to categorise the non followers as looters or terrorist. But Im speaking about the people ..you know the citizens..the ones that should get to vote wether or not they want this "senior" to represent them. Then again I think its pretty clear that the answer to him or the invaders is NO.
  18. Indeed we dont want a government!! if it comes in the shape of a weak self-motivated senior or in the shape of invasion. At one point the voice of the people must be heard. How easy it is for the US and their followers to label when things dont go their way.
  19. At first I felt sorry for the weak senior, then I remembered all the atrocities committed by him and his followers...so in less then few seconds I found myself chanting along with the lady ..His a Killaarr kick him out!!His a killaarr kick him out!!
  20. Peasant, I noticed the same thing..so i'd like to think that were pointing fingers among ourselves now so that we can better ourselves. Im sure its coming from a good place althought some sound quite condescending
  21. LayzieGirl, First off let me say that I understand your feelings of "snitching" seing that amount of tax that gets deducted from your paycheck is always a hard pill to swallow. I personally never understood young people who can work and feed themselves hand out a hand to beg. However ask yourself the following, aside the personal pleasure, what would you gain from snitching on this lady? will that act change the amount of tax you pay? also have you walked in her shoes? do you know what makes her ask for welfare (aside of the assumption that shes just being greedy)? I dont think the answer is telling on this lady, rather why dont you speak to her and maybe even try to empower her instead of suddendly taking away her meal ticket just a thought salam
  22. Wow J-11! This is really good, Pls dont keep us waiting too long for the rest
  23. lol Zenobia thats exactly what it is...its all about the money Jacaylbaro, Im not a pusher..its growing up in the west that got me saying : Just say no to drugs!
  24. ^^ I dont "feel" I was treated differently. I was. But this is not to take anything away from the area..its just what I witnessed. You should let the airport customer service know about such complaints as you seem to be the unofficial representative of the area here in sol
