Islamic courts ban trade in charcoal and wildlife

I would classify the decimation of the environment as clearly haram. Because we are taught that we (humans that is) are the viceregents on Earth, and it is our duty to keep the planet as beautiful as Allah created it. Although the ban of Qaat would be great, Im glad this trade will be stopped. -
We should under no circumstances say that Racism in any form is okay. Blaming the victims of racism is a shock I would never have expected from any member of this site.

^ More Pertinent question. Why spell Mum like an American?

^ Ofcourse, who would want to be stuck with some Miser. Zu obviously a guy who buys diamonds for his wife and forgets the neccesities would be how do we say it.. a few clowns short of a circus. This is certainly not what we ladies are talking about. But please continue your failing attempt to justify your cheapness. -
^ I second that. Wlc Somali2006. Nothing to look out for only Beware the politics section. You will either find the exchanges highly amusing or very aggressive. I have a certain favourite member who posts there now and then but I think I will be fair and leave those details to myself.

Congratulations to them and all other crypto-married nomads. Massa what "matchmaking business"? The idea that there are secret moderator discussions on the topic disturbs me. I hope im interpreting this incorrectly. -
^ *puts hands up* I didnt. Pucca dear you are too kind. fyi I never intended to get rid of the hands I quite like them myself .

When I first saw this topic I came to the conclusion that it would be only a matter of time before it was reduced to a series of unfair &/or insulting generalisations. Looks like I was right.

Any war in the region between Somalia and Ethiopia will ignite the whole region and will spell the end of Ethiopia removing at last their imperialistic meddlings. The Americans have figured this out (thanks to Eritrea) which is why they are pushing instead for dialogue. Why would they want to lose their only ally? Ending Ethiopia's dominance may be a welcome change but what will be the cost. Another generation in the Horn of Africa subjected to the horrors and miseries of War and displacement. How wretched!.

Dude, you called the law itself "Native Title Claims" earlier I was merely correcting you. The Native Title Act 1993 is out of date it was amended with the Native Title Amendment Act 1998. This later Act made extensive changes to the first Act. Im afraid you need to check your facts.

Well I didnt exactly have a prize in mind but since you asked. The prize consists of the following: 1. Pink Floyd album. 2. One partially eaten packet of chips. 3. One audio CD of the theme music from Dr Who. 4. One wooden leg. Jackpot don't you say.

^ Although it would be nice to visit the homeland for obvious reasons. I would say the joy of travel is the ability to experience the the unfamiliar. What fun is it to visit places you already know? Sheh nice pics. Can you imagine my highschool offered school camps to Vietnam. But alas I changed schools before I could do so.

Originally posted by Hizb_UK: I think we whould declare Ethopia as just another part of SomaliWeyn and declare the Tikray, Oroma etc as just another tribes amongst Wider Somalis LOL, Unfortunately Haile Selaisse came up with that idea first. Only in his view Somalis were Ethiopians and thus should be incorporated into the Ethiopian empire. As you can imagine this didnt go down very well.

Excuse me just had to correct a few things... Boi Boi, There is no law called "Native title claims" I think you maybe mistaken as to what Native Title is. Native Title isnt a recognition of ownership in a legal sense. The Mabo decision though historic as it first recognised Native Title in this country, is now overidden by other major cases (Wik etc) which have made it extremely difficult for indigenous Australians to make any trully significant claims. For example any claim of Native Title by Indigenous Australian are overidden by those who hold legal title to the land. Furthermore where Native Title comes into conflict with the interests of other parties such as pastoralists, then the other parties claim to the land will prevail. Native Title doesnt even extend to mining rights since the law holds the view that Mining was not a traditional aspect of the Aboriginal way of life. The whole process of asserting Native Title is weighed against Indigenous Australians. Me, Native Title is not about making a quick buck. It is about redressing past injustices and about Indigneous Australians pushing for the recognition of their prior claim to this country. What you have said unfortunately is propaganda heard very often from the right. Anyways do continue your topic. Im afraid I was compelled to reply....Dont hold it against me.
