Its possible that it has become fashionable. There are plenty of people who wear shirts with Che Guevera on it and if you ask them about him they will hardly know anything about what he stood for.

On my university campus there are a few non muslims (men and women) who wear it like the picture above. They are all members of Leftist groups such as the Socialist Alliance etc. It has become a symbol of resistance in general and more specifically it represents support for the Palestinian cause.

As long as the Americans dont get all Manchurian Candidate on him im not worried. Lets just pray and hope for the best.
